This project originally started with a crossing of Cinderella 99 and Jack Herer. Auto genetics were used from the “Magnum" genetic line, which guarantees above average harvests. With THC levels consistently in excess of 20%, this is one of the most powerful autoflowering cannabis strains available today. Auto Cinderella Jack is the result of many generations of selective breeding focused mainly on one characteristic, the THC percentage. By applying careful breeding techniques (only possible with a skilled master breeder) this strain has become so strong that it stood out from the rest of the competition. The parent genetics of these Auto Cinderella Jack hybrid weed seeds are known for being potent, full of flavour and with great yields. Both Cinderella 99 and Jack Herer are two very strong cannabis strains with an excellent reputation. Crossing these, and then breeding this cross with the Magnum autoflower line from Buddha Seeds has created a truly epic autoflowering cannabis seed variety. Seed to harvest time of around 10-11 weeks.
Cinderella Jack Auto turned out to be a very compact plant, finishing at just 24 cm in height. The yield was 41 grams of dry buds, which is quite decent given the size. The effect is light and uplifting, perfect for work or creative activities. It has a clear sativa dominance, providing a mild and motivating high without couchlock. However, I expected a bit more potency. This could be due to the specific phenotype I got, or perhaps some mistakes in the growing process. Overall, it's a great strain for those who prefer a smooth and functional high, but next time I might try another phenotype or a different strain for a stronger kick.
Since I am a noob in gardening I can't tell exactly whether Cinderella Jack (CJ) is easy or hard to grow. From a beginners point of view I would say the strain performed very well. It was very forgiving and continued growing despite my mistakes like overwatering, underfertilizing, overlighting etc.
I applied LST by bending the main stem down to expose the lower shoots to the light source (though Dutch Passion guys don't recommend this). Since the plant was very bushy the leaves didn't have enough space to grow and prevented the airflow. That's why I had to defoliate quite a lot. I think it is better to let CJ grow naturally.
CJ has a very nice scent of pepper.
I would grow it again.
