The plants growth rate accelerates with each new leaf and is more than double from 1 week ago. The plant is showing leaf curl. The leaf color is normal. I started the week with a low EC, high volume fertigation. Obviously there is a nutrient issue, but the plant is still vigourous. So I will do another high volume low EC fertigation and tweek the nutrient solution to compensate for some of the possibilities of deficiency or toxicity.

Day 28 I was away for 5 days and wow the growth... I'm sold on the auto-pots 😂 Still barely getting much height but look at this bush💀😉 All her tops are getting really close to flat naturally so hopefully we get a nice preflower stretch soon. Starting to show some pistils.

Week 4 of flower and it’s been a week for the books. The males gizzed all over the females and we spent the better part of a week harvesting the males for pollen, then defoliating and spraying the pollinated females, then going full sanitize on the entire tent… (that part always sucks). Either way, they’re off to the seed making and generally showing a brilliant, yet subtle pink across most phenos. Gonna be pretty cool seeing how the colours develop on these👌. The fact that the pinks are prevalent amongst all plants is very encouraging. Still early for sure - but… potential for something special👍. Terp. Profiles are becoming quite pronounced now too. So far, we’ve got one that smells of a very sweet sorta pine in female #3 and a definitive baked berrry scent in female #1. The hope was always to balance out the earthiness of the Kush which is classic to the strain in terms of taste, just not overly tasty. Again, still early but we might’ve achieved that here on crossing🤞👌. All told and as long as we keep ‘em alive to the finish - we should have tons of seed and a well defined set of partially drilled down traits. Counting 3 discernible potential phenos so far and can’t wait to see what the clones reveal🤟. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. theres a total of 8 branches all same length exept the 2 in the middle. 10weeks from seed here This is by far the best strain i ever grown. Not just because of the legendary Og Kush x Bluberry x Gorilla Glue #4 cross. The smell, the leaves, the branches, and the space between every node and how big everything is. This is just insane the smell is legendary. This strain deserves so much more awards

Flushing this week. She seems to be pushing more white pistols and will be ready next week. Smells like melon! Really nailed the terps! Just kind of left it alone and easy peezy. Humidity has been tough to control but running the dehus no stop!

We got to the topping just 4 days ago, and the plants took it quite well. There’s some minor drooping going on right now, but the new tops are already coming along nicely. 🌱✂️ I slightly overwatered them just now, so I’ll let the pots dry out and give them at least 4 days before the next watering. Next stop: transplant number two. 💪 Lesson learned: after topping, less is more. Realy looking forward to this grow. Two of my all time favourite blueberry and cheese combined in one plant. Thank you royal queen seeds lol. So I decided to give RQS starter pack a go. But I did modified it a bit. It’s a simple starter you make up 1l of water add the sachets stir then soak the tray for 10 secs and put seeds 5mm into the soil then wait 5 days. Well I grow in hydroponics with jiffy cubes as starting cubes so I just soaked jiffy cubes in the solution then placed seeds right in. Blow me down 3 days and 3 of the lady’s are out the soil well Impressed how well it worked and easy for this noobie grower. So far impressed with RQS got my eye on their pineapple Kush for next gen or the hulkberry maybe even north thunderfuck... to many to pick from will have to think it over lol. But happy with this starter kit and all going good so far.

Transplant went well today. The girl got three weeks in the tiny pot and barely grew any roots. Surprising honestly. Gotta water more thoroughly I guess. But all is well and will start the beginning process of training soon. Lights at 40% power. 9/26 This fucking sucks. Site won't let me upload pictures. Flood warning in effect. I believe this is the fifth day of rain. Not trickles. Sheet rain and high winds. My dream catchers have been taking this like a champ. Ice cream cake was totally sideways for awhile despite vertical trellis. I came down this morning to branches bent at 90° angles. I could've taken them but if I make it through this rain today it's supposed to stop tonight. Then I'll have a week of good weather. Buds are exploding. Even the ice cream cake. That will need more time but I'm getting close with the others. They are never out of sight. I'm surprised they've held up so well so far. I made my decision it would be stupid to alter it now, seeing how the storm is ending. I was going to spray k bicarb but I'll wait until after this rain.UPDATE: Went back over and the garden was flooded. I needed to put one grow bag on top of another as one plant was in six inches of water. I drained it and added supports and pulled off any dead leaves. I tried taking a video but it was raining so hard it stopped after 7 secs. Luckily my dreamcatchers are strong AF. Took to little ones and put them under the barn under a light. It's FINALLY stopped raining. After I smoke I gotta go back over and shake buds again and check for rot. Luckily nothing was broken but it was hanging right down. Fucking sucks. Spent like two hours in sheet rain. UPDATE: Stopped raining. I went over and continued to defoliate and cut little bits of rot from the interior. Sprayed a gallon of potassium bicarbonate and dawn on ever spot of rot I could find. I've been to the patch multiple times today. Found a few earwigs. I think I've found my problem. Late stage leaf septoria with earwigs eating the rotting plant matter. Fucking sucks but at least I have an idea. Can't upload pics and phone wouldn't even work in the rain. One 7 second video. 9/27 The extra work I've been putting in has certainly helped. I got in touch with a company who will do any type of extraction I want for $200 a lb. Fucking awesome. My cousin got 250 grams love rosin last year with this same company. I am sore. I checked trichs but I'm not seeing much Amber yet. Buds are gaining density fast. At least now that I have an idea what my problem is I can address it. Plants showed signs of pm after drying out. I did a k bicarb spray and this morning there isn't a spot. I need to take care of what's hanging so that's the plan today. 9/28 I think I made the right decision.my plants are looking good. Not where I want them but it's getting close. I checked the trichs this morning. Under 24 hour surveillance till harvest. Well it has been but now I stay up every nigh watching the cctv. Went down in the middle of the night to check for nocturnal bugs. Didn't find any. I've been defoliating the yellow septoria leaves. I went through every plant and cut out any rot and removed andy sugar leaves that started to turn brown. This and the k bicarb seem to help. I think that Leaf septoria has dwarfed the growth of the smaller dream catcher. Buds don't seem to be growing much more. Even my ICC has buds almost the size of the little one. The other dreamcatcher will probably be an elbow plant. The ice cream cake has beefed up incredibly and is covered in trich's. I'm super excited but I'm cautious at the same time. I hate that fucking dog but it's an added layer of security. Soon I'll do the harvest report for DJ short blueberry. 9/29 Trich's are changing fast. Haven't been watering lately do to all the rain. Plants are real real close. Up all night watching. Dog flipped out at 4am but no one was there. I want to wait until I have a little more Amber but I'm super excited. I may end up taking some tops. May end up doing a k bicarb spray today. Haven't decided yet. I'll update as I go. I've been making head way trimming the blueberry. 9/30. Things are looking beautiful. The smell at the garden is amazing. Lots of hard work left. Plants do have septoria and slight pm so I may do a bud wash. I cut a branch from each plant. I think I'm at the point of diminishing returns. Every wet night mold and critters take more and the chances of some idiot coming to try and take my shit increases. I may end up harvesting a little earlier. I'd lie to wait but the trichs look pretty good to me. Still doing all the maintenance required. I am extremely proud of this grow. I fought everything this year. Started with mites and thrips. Powder mildew came with them too. Now I've faced every pest or disease this year. At least it seems that way. En la semana 14 de floracion se ha hecho más notoria la sobrefertilizacion pasada, ya que las hojas siguieron su curso y se han puesto crujientes, amarillas, al punto de que las amarillas entre los cogollos las he sacado, para que no se formen moho o algun hongo que arruine este proceso largo,por ende toda la planta se ha quedado casi sin hojas, entonces me surgen un montón de dudas con respecto a como proceder en estas semanas finales, me inclino por empezar con el lavado de raíces en la entrante semana 15, para así dar el corte final en la semana 17, según lo que aconseja el banco,(suelo darle 2 semanas más de floración, de las recomendaciones q brinda el bereber, aunque en esta ocasión, no lo considero posible). También ha sido notoria la formación de la famosa, cola de zorro ,en algunos de los cogollos, (esto tiene relacion con el Stress que sufre una planta), una sobrefertilizacion es considerado algo stresante para una planta de marihuana.En otros casos la cola de zorro, también es una característica de algunas geneticas. En las fotos principales de dicha genetica se pueden observar estos detalles, pero bueno,todo va salir bien✈️😎😅👺

Die Thripse treiben wieder ihr Unwesen. Trotz der Raubmilben tummeln sich die Biester fröhlich auf den Pflanzen. Die nächste Lieferung, ein Mix Paket aus Raubmilben, Nemathoden und Raubwanzen ist Unterwegs, aber ich überlege, ob es sich so kurz vor der Ernte noch lohnt, die Tierchen auszubringen oder ob ich sie für den nächsten Grow aufbewahre. Im Gegensatz zu der anderen Pflanze im Zelt scheinen diese beiden den Schädlingsbefall besser wegzustecken. Auf jeden Fall sehen die beiden gesünder aus, es sind deutlich weniger Fraßspuren zu sehen und es sind auch deutlich weniger Thripse auf den Blättern zu finden.
