Finally chopped down and harvested. My best plant yet and that was all thanks to homegrown genetics for these killer genetics. If you haven't tried this guy yet, I absolutely beg you to. You will not be disappointed The Terps are straight Dank Ripe Black Cherry, that Superboof orange rind/hashy funkiness, and sum really nice earthy hash notes from the Pure Michigan. All comes together and almost reminds me of a really deep earthy cherry pie with a very slight Superboof orange influence. Very black cherry/Cherry Candy heavy. But not traditional "candy" you see now days. All around 10/10, I will be running Apple Junky and Garlic Applez next!

Growth is Great! I switched my MH out for the HPS on Saturday, I left the MH in for the first week of flowering bc I had read some bro science shit that the blue light helps with stretching or some crap 😂. I also came to the conclusion I have probably been underwatering them slightly the past week or so anyway. My #3 plant keeps trying to droop some of her leaves on the top half of the plant. Also think she might not be liking the high temps the past week or two 😬 Otherwise everything looks very healthy to me anyway. Have a tent on the way thats a good bit bigger than the closet everything is in now, so hoping that helps with temps.

2nd time doing Brix levels...some ladies went from a Brix of 4 to a Brix of 10 while 2 only went from a Brix of 4 to 6. I am pleased with their progress upwards. Dam just learned you should take leaves for testing 2 hours after lights on....I took leaves from dark period 😣. Will update with new Brix numbers taken with lights on. Chopping is coming very soon. I will tag the Brix of each plant when I hang to dry so I'm able to keep track of how the higher Brix relates to taste, smell and potency😎 😁The ladies noticeably got fatter over night!(Nov 11th). Man they really enjoyed that last watering, hope this continues into next week. Just read to take your Brix leaves in a "Z" or "W" pattern as older leaves will contain higher carbs. The refracted light tells us the amount of carbs in the "juice or sap" and minerals too like calcium, proteins and fats (lipids). High Brix enables weed to produce secondary metabolites = greater medicinal value. Sucrose/sugar (Carbs) & mineral levels in the fruit or flower translates or relates to taste. A tasteless 3 Brix tomato from the grocery store or a 14 Brix tomato from OMG you grow delicious tomatoes. Death to covalent bonding! (My goal a 20 Brix😀 Won't be happening with this grow but will be the next😁). Read that most people can detect a half point difference in Brix in the flavour. Lots of smell coming from these Gorilla Girls😵 I can only go so far with plant chemistry and then I get a headache and get lost😔

Day 69 (March 6th) Just gave everyone their last watering. I’m going to harvest and wash everything tomorrow night on day 70. I‘m not going to do that whole 48 hours of darkness thing because I didn’t see a difference last time I did it. In fact, it made my plant under watered before drying which caused it to dry too fast. Slurricane and cheese will be washed with h2o2 and the rest will just be rinsed off in warm RO water and hung up. Before and after washing I’m going to go over each branch with a flashlight and make sure there is no dog hair or debris in or on the buds. I will be drying in my spare bathroom (that no one uses!) from hangers. Aiming to keep it around 60-62F and 50-60 RH. Hoping for that 10-12 day dry. I wanted to do a full plant hang but the tent got pretty dirty and I would feel more comfortable just cutting and rinsing everything off branch by branch. I’m going to try my best to keep the full plant intact. Got my humidifier hooked up and running RO water because with tap water it deposits calcium and lime all over the buds and walls. For air flow I’m just indirectly running a small usb fan. I’m not worried about air flow in the bathroom honestly. It stays nice and breezy down there anyway. Got the food grade peroxide and RO water to wash up the slurricane and cheese. Everything except for the cheese and garlic#1 is looking more than done. Trichomes all look pretty well done. Some of them have even burst open. Smells are all super ripe and mature too. Can’t wait to smell each individually in jars. Next week I will recap what went wrong and what I will do differently next time to keep it from happening again. (Day 70F) Just got everything chopped, washed and hanging. The vast majority of the PM was washed out but I can still see very small amounts. When they dry out I can shake the branches a bit to get the rest off. At very least it’s sterile now. There is no question I lost some potency while washing but the amount is negligible for a much cleaner product. I could see lots of dirt and other debris float to the surface of the water after being washed. And no those are not trichomes, those sink to the bottom. I could put that nasty water through a bubble bag and wouldn’t get all that much. Although it probably does remove a lot of the actual trichomes heads. I’ll have to check with the microscope. Everything is rigged up for a nice slow dry. Temp is sitting at 64 and RH is at a nice 60%.

Saturday 25th July (day 28) 9pm This time I could be home at lights on so they will have a mixed feed with a little PK. She needs a little more time most trichomes are milkey but i like to get around 5-10% brown. I think one week more she is ready for harvest ill check trichomes all 2 days. We will see how she matures. Kind of crazy still drinks more and more dayli and the buds are getting so heavy that i have to support them. I hope she slows soon down i need that space for a other plant. But if she needs more time she will get it for sure.

Another good week for this lady. Temps were high, but she handled it like a champ. Because she is so beastly and only in a 4 gallon pot, I’m watering about 1 gallon of water every 3 1/2 days. The dry back seems to be better if I don’t wait till the 4 th day. Buds are developing nicely, and stacking really well. I’m going to have some decent sized colas. Frost is coming along nicely too. She has a Kush smell with some sandalwood at the moment… Temps were floating around 82 degrees this week, with RH around 55-58%. Plucked a few more fan leaves, but otherwise just a slight turn each time I check on the tent. Happy Gardening

Dear friends here it is serious. The two Dark Phoenix are both beautiful and fit, raised high and powerful. The first plant, my favorite, is processed with a topping at 16 peaks that gave balance to the plant really the peaks are all beautiful and upwards, they are taking color. Perfume very much I don't know what, but it's sweet, it seems to me the perfume then there are other neighbors and confused me. It is a highly recommended strain that can do very very well. The second plant is worked with a topping at 16 peaks, but I left two side branches under that they felt the center but they are beautiful and are repeated in full. Wow. El ph se controla en 6.0 , la temperatura la tenemos entre 24/20 grados y la humedad ronda el 50%. El ciclo de crecimiento puse 12h de luz, el foco está al 50% de potencia. La flor cogió forma y maduró del todo, produjo bastantes tricomas, se ve potente y huele que tira pa atrás. Shes coming along well Branches are getting heavy gonna have to prop some up soon Saw like 3 or 4 amber trichomes. Still looks like she has a little of time left. Unfortunately I have to move so im hoping theyre ready in the next 30-45 days. Smells alot like mashed blueberries more than candy now.
