Granddaddy Purple Autoflower was developed by crossing the famed Granddaddy Purple Indica strain with a fast-growing and rugged ruderalis phenotype. This means that all the features you'd expect from GDP are present, with enormous deep purple buds, entrancing body stones and a distinctly sweet and spicy grape flavor along with the quick grow and autoflowering nature of the ruderalis. THC levels are slightly lower on average than that of the original GDP, though still quite high at 19-22%, with CBD levels practically non-existent.
Well, my 1st auto from MSNL. GDP Auto lacking the purple. But I could see it coming in early and I'd a bad reaction across my entire crop. And it just lost its purp fade. I did get very dense fruity purple frosty sticky bud. Plants structure was pretty nice. Yield was OK.. 70ish grams. I do remember it was a beauty.
I've another in my current crop. (Let's hope I can pull her to purple and hold it)
This grow was fun. One of the easiest Autos in this crop. And the fastest. Got some A grade HomeGrown without any bushwhack smell for high summer growing it dried fast, but held off any hay smell..5-6 Days drying.
1400g total from 14 plants
70 cured from this + 5-10g of testin quick dried.
Harvested Day 66-68, 5 days drying, 2 month cure. And overall very happy with over 2oz of weed.
She is cut and drying haven’t tested any buds yet but they are fat dense and purple with nice coat of trichomes. Will update later after she has dried.
Update: dried and cured and have been smoking the hell out of it lol. Smells very fruity and taste like berries with some hints of herb. Nice mellow relaxing high. Great for nighttime use but also during the daytime just to get into a chill vibe. The sour diesel I harvest has completely different effects. This one creeps up on you where as the sour diesel hits you as soon as you inhale. Very pleased with the results and would recommend to anyone. Can’t wait to pop another seed and grow this strain again.
