Watering every two or three days by removing from tent and placing in tub overfull of water - letting it feed from the bottom for a couple hours. Central stem/trunk looks strong and vigorous. Older plants are reacting very well to the earlier treatments (due to an unfortunate accident, one bud fell off, but it's an opportunity to learn cloning); the younger plant was given a 10cm riser and has been reacting great to the much stronger lighting for the past two days.

When the package containing Zamnesia x Tical Nectar Drip arrived, I was so excited I didn't think to save a seed, and now I'm regretting it because it's in my all-time top five. Why? Because it produces wonderful flowers from every perspective: hardness, density, and weight are unbeatable. The resin production is top-notch, and in a way that only US plants can achieve, the yield is consistently good and lends itself very well to mainlining, topping, mainfolding, and cloning. Maturation - The pistils have been looking super ripe for a long time, especially the upper ones, which are very red, and we're still over 90%. Indica dominant, so we're moving towards the final part of the harvest window compared to usual. The trichomes are about 30% amber, 40% cloudy/milky, and 30% clear, more or less naturally, but I think it's fine; she looks super ripe. The plant was cloned and left to vegetate for a short while, then directly into flowering. The flowers are all of excellent quality, and the yield is excellent, I think around 50-60 grams. Day 28: Decided to do some LST as the dark green leaves are getting better! These babies are growing strong 💪 I am still very gentle with the feeding, and that are going to continue until more is needed Day 32: The girls have fully recovered from the LST. They already was 1 day after. Everything seems to go smooth so far

Both plants still getting bigger buds - more than i expected. 💪Trichomes did not change that much, paapya's got a bit milkier now. I cut of a few yellow leaves day by day on both plants. The upper yellow leaves are because of to much light intensity - the ones below canopy are a sign of the plants going in their last days before harvest. 😎Just want to mention, that both plants almost got no Cal/mag problem, only just a few parts of leaves have this issue. 👌

Handling GENTLY Week begin with 12/12

7 months after planting her from seed the day is finally here. A little earlier than I would of liked due to insects (crickets/grasshoppers eating buds) but she's thereabouts finished. Probably lost 1/3 of buds from the chewing insects but still a big yield and my drying room is full 😊 She survived two rainy season's and some serious wind from a tropical depression back in September. I have kept this grow completely organic so no pesticide or chemical fertilizers used. Apart from heavily amending the soil at the start I mostly fed her crabmeal once a month and seaweed and molasses in most waterings. A few of those waterings were diluted with my urine 😆👌 NPK right!? Why not.. then at the end I added a cultured pro biotic yogurt to the soil 2 days before I harvested. (Tip from a fellow grower @med_in_tropic - thanks bro) Not sure if it made any difference as I cannot compare with another plant but, the plant starting smelling like lemon furniture polish.. like a lemon scent with a fuel undertone. Almost menthol like 🤷‍♂️.. smells amazing. Me and my wife drank tea from the trimming and the citrusy flavour came though into the tea which was nice. Weather wise the temperature is down now to around 16c at night with RH around 50% so the buds should dry much slower than the last harvest so I should get a better flavour profile. Smoke report to follow after she has been in a jar for a week or so.. I did try a bud sample a few weeks back and the taste then was already pleasant so for sure this will be fire... 🔥 Thanks for all the kind comments, this was my first ever grow start to finish. I'm doing an organic soil grow using Purple Cow Organics for the substrate. For germination and seedling phase, I'm using their Seed Starter mix. Once they are ready to focus on vegetative growth, I will transplant them into 5 gallon fabric AutoPots using Purple Cow's Indicanja soil. This is a "water only" soil that I will be attempting to use without feeding much additional nutrients, except for Bloom City Cal-Mag, since I will be using RO water. My tent has CO2 enrichment, so I will be using ~25% higher DLI levels starting at week 2 or 3 than are typical for photoperiod grows. I will adjust as necessary based on how the plants react. #2 and #3 emerged from soil after 2 days (August 22). #1 and 4 took two extra days to be fully emerged with open cotyledons (August 24). During germination, I had VPD set to 0.5 kPa. PPFD was 200 and DLI was around 13, with an 18 hour light cycle. CO2 levels are between 1000-1400 ppm. I included a video showing and explaining my AutoPot and AirDome setup and my general plans for this first grow.
