Pootie Tang

Colorado-bred and cup-tested, Pootie Tang brings zesty drive and Kush backbone to the garden and the jar. Bred by New House Seed Co from LA Kush and Tang Tang, this sativa-leaning hybrid (about 70/30) marries bright citrus, grapefruit, and earthy-pine tones with a peppery finish. Limonene and terpinolene do the heavy lifting on aroma, with caryophyllene rounding out a subtly herbal bite. Expect an uplift that lands fast and sparkly, sharpening focus and mood before settling into a light, comfortable body buzz. THC commonly ranges 16-26% with trace CBD around 0-1%. Plants stretch vigorously with upright, branching architecture and foxtail-prone colas dusted in snowy trichomes and orange pistils. Indoors, a skilled hand can pull roughly 400 g/m2 in 59-73 days of bloom; outdoors, single plants often tip past 500 g by early to mid-October in temperate zones. Pootie Tang responds well to topping, LST, and a strategic day-21 defoliation to improve airflow and even canopy light. Resin production makes it a solid choice for solventless work. On the scene since 2012, this cultivar earned third place for Best Colorado Sativa Flower at the High Times U.S. Cannabis Cup in Denver in 2015, a nod to its lively, clean expression that still carries a touch of classic LA Kush hashiness.
