PuTang is a sativa-leaning hybrid from Mass Medical Strains, born from Tangie and Star Pupil. In 2019 it captured 1st Place at the Commonwealth Cannabis Cup and landed on High Times’ Top 10, propelled by an electric citrus bouquet layered with sweet grape candy and a touch of classic skunk from the Pupil line. Dominant terpenes terpinolene and myrcene push bright tangerine and purple-fruit tones over a crisp, resinous finish. Many cuts clock between 23–27% THC with minimal CBD, delivering an energetic, euphoric lift that stays clean and upbeat while keeping the mood buoyant and focused. In the garden, PuTang grows medium-tall with a vigorous 2–3x stretch, showing fast vegetative growth and excellent outdoor resilience, including notable mold and mildew resistance.
