Day 22: Well we made it to the beginning of week 4! Who would of thunk! So we are starting week 4 on a good foot. No issues at this time and growing really well. Still such a squat plant. The nodes spacing is only like a half inch apart. WTH 🤷‍♂️🏻 Other than that the PH in my reservoir is dropping, usually it rises a bit everyday. I will have to remedy that before my midday feeding. I mean it was at 5.85-5.9PH so not out of whack but I was hoping for a drift of 5.9-61ish before I had to do a top off or change of the solution. Did some more light LST and leaf tucking last night before bed and will probably have to do more this afternoon. Day 23: River and Clara are growing really fast now. However I did notice the darkening of some of the new growth tips and a potential N burn. I believe this to be from a faulty PH tester I bought from nutetools dot com. Junk! So back to my old cheap meter. I will have to empty and clean out my reservoir today and make some more sauce for my plants so that I know it is PH’d correctly. What a pain in the ass. I am going to have a chat with them this afternoon for perhaps a replacement. Other than that onward and upward. Day 24: Not a whole lot to say today. Filled the reservoir yesterday. Sat and tried to figure out how to LST these super squat plants. I am thinking a couple haircuts are in order today. I think this will be beneficial to the little bud site that are partiallly blocked, but also for me to see what the structure looks like to get a better idea what I am working with 🤪 I am also thinking of upping my watering schedule to 4 times a day during lights on. I feel they are starting to drink a lot more and are probably just about to go into flowering mode. Day 24 Update: So I took the plunge and did some major defoliation and retied up all the LST work I did previously. They look so pissed off at me now… lmao. 🤬 You can see the before pics in my previous post from this morning. Also posting pics of how tiny my node spacing is.. Day 25 06/25/2021 - Today should be pretty hands off. Just letting them do their thing after the harsh treatment they got from me yesterday. (Defoliation and LST). I’m assuming they will need a couple days to recover, but, I will say they do look a bit less pissed off today than yesterday. Still no signs of sex. the tops are a nice bright green and the leaves are starting to deform like it really wants to flower. Hopefully, I didn’t screw it up by defoliating. The wait for flower continues. Day 26: These plants have bounced back awesomely after my heavy handed defoliation and LST. Putting on an inch a day and growing faster by the minute. They must have loved my nutrient ratio last feeding. I am going to do the same mix again today to refill the reservoir. Speaking of reservoir and watering… I think I am watering a bit munch per feeding as I am going through 5-6 gallons every 2-3 days for two plants. So I think today I am going to finally go to a 4 feed per day schedule and drop the time from 1min 10secs to 50secs or so. They should realistically only be getting a gallon a day a piece and still get good runoff to avoid any salt buildup. Have a 4inch and 6inch stretch a scrog nets ordered as well. Other than all that I think this first grow is going great so far! Day 27: Another day of mostly hands off and just watching the stretch. If my scrog nets come today I will hang the first one and that is about it today. Last night however, I did find a few pistils on Clara the smaller of the two and the no longer late bloomer. I also got my new Milwaukee MW804 4in1 ph/ec/tds/temp pen. Excited to have a reliable testing tool. One more grow day in the books! Cheers! Day 28: Well last day of week four. I was really hoping it would have started flowering by now, but we will hope for week 5. I got my scrog nets late yesterday afternoon and I put the first 4” net up. As you can probably see by the pics I really have no clue what I am doing. Also these plants are so so squat and compact I almost wish I had a 2” net. But, I think they are in stretch mode so we will see how that might effect my ability to a rig these a bit better. My plans for today are to do a quick clean and rinse of the reservoir and refill with a new batch of mutes I mixed up in the middle of the night last night. Then just let them grow I suppose. Not much else for me to do. 🤷‍♂️🏻Now on to week 5 tomorrow and continue to have a good grow. Cheers! 🥃

All rite...here we go! Lol end of week 2 of flowering and plants are in full stretch mode now. I let them grow about a foot above the first netting and at the end of week 2 I did a huge defoliation and tied everything back down to the screen. Took a long time! Lol everything is even again though and all is well. We will let them grow up from here and tuck anything that gets above the screen to much. Gonna try and end with a canopy just above the first screen to maximize light penetration to all nodes. So far so good! Cheer 💨

29 days since my seed sprouted a little girl🌱 The fourth week of growing my Break-up Cake Auto 🥧💚 Nutrients: Nutrients - transition to flower: Plagron Alga Bloom is an organic flower fertilizer for growing in soil. The fertilizer is algae-based and contains amino acids, proteins and a balanced ratio of phosphorus and potassium 🌺 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Plagron Green Sensation is a flower booster. Green Sensation is a 4-in-1 product, so you don't need to add additional fertilizers. Suitable for all types of substrates and systems 💚💜💚 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Bud Candy is a carbohydrate supplement from Advanced Nutrients that maximizes the growth and aroma of flowers. It supports strong root activity by providing food for beneficial microorganisms. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ BioBizz Calmag is a 100% organic, but also vegan fertilizer with BIO certification. Biobizz Calmag was designed for professional growers and home growers who need an extra dose of calcium and magnesium. It contains added humic acid 💩☘️- I only apply it once a week.--------------------------------------------- Biobizz Bio pH-/ Biobizz Bio pH+ is a 100% natural and vegan pH regulator. Suitable for all types of substrates and crops. For use in growth and flowering. 💩🍋🌱 ---------------------------------------------------- PRO-MIX CONNECT MYCORRHIZAL POWDER - for substrate General: Break-up Cake Auto 🥧💚 The girl is already fully blooming 🌺🏵️, because she grew strangely from a young age, she created two main stems, on which buds are already forming. It is clear that this will be a particularly strong plant and I am glad that I did not lose her, just because she was a poor little girl, different from the others. Now she has repaid me and is growing into a beautiful strong girl ☘️🌱 I use the new pH and EC meter Aqua Master Tools P110 PRO, the measurement is fast and accurate 👌 So far I have managed to keep the pH and EC as they should be. Although my EC has jumped a little more now, I diluted the watering so that the EC drops. I use Biobizz Bio +/- to correct it. The excellent mycorrhizal powder PRO-MIX Connect to support the roots certainly works very well. All the girls have been very strong and stable from an early age 💚🌿🌲 Training: This week I had to do LST and defoliation 2x. This is usually the case during this period. And like her sister, I made the first defoliation bigger, the second one milder 🍃

Seedsman Auto Sour Diesel Haze coming up!!!👍 I love the Sour Diesel strain so I'm really looking forward to this one. Also, the Seedsman Auto Lemon I just harvested was very impressive. I'm going to go lighter on the training from now on because I want to be done by end of May/early June. My grow is in the attic and its gets crazy hot there in the summer, even in VT. My Perpetual Harvest strategy…. Originally my plan was to start 2 seeds each month, but had some seeds from one breeder that did not germinate early in my rotation. Ultimately, this caused single seeds to pop and messed up my 2 at a time plans. But, that seemed to work out OK, because now I think starting one seed every 3 weeks is a better strategy. This should provide me with 4-5 plants at a time, instead of 6. However… Since I need to shut down over the summer because my tent is currently in the attic, I’m starting 2 seeds at at time for the last couple of rounds. Plants get fed once weekly on weekends. Seedlings get water only. Plants in vegetation get water and Recharge. Flowering plants get water, Recharge or Big Bloom (Fox Farm). Feeding is done using 2 gallon watering can. Any additional waterings during the week are given on an as needed basis per plant. I lift the plants to help determine which plants are more dry (lighter) and provide water any plants via water bottles and watering spikes. I give each pot a quarter turn every day in an effort to make sure the plants get equal lighting from all sides. I rotate the plant in place by turning the pot 90 degrees (I am not rearranging the layout of the plants in the tent on a daily basis). The soil is an ‘organic super soil’ I mixed myself using organic top soil, organic potting soil, organic compost, organic peat moss, organic perlite, organic vermiculite, lime, epsom salt, expanded clay pellets and Jobe’s organic fast start. I am also recycling my soil and water with Recharge when using recycled soil. For plant training I have tried a variety of things, but my plans now are to do LST bending only, no HST anymore. I may decide to go back to HST again in the future, but I’m curious to compare LST training only to see how that goes. Around 3 week I'll do a FIM cut/pinch once there are 4-5 nodes established. And some defoliation around the 3rd week of flowering. I have been doing HST bending and having good results, but think the HST may be causing the plants to take longer to harvest. I hope LST only will help increase harvests while getting me to harvest sooner. Setup: 1- Grow Tent 24”x48”x72” 2- Viparspectra 300W LED’s (1-V300 & 1-R300) 1- Hanging 100w CFL (26w actual) 1- Carbon Filter w/ 190cfm Fan & 4” ducts 1- 6” clip-on fan 1- 700w electric heater - oil filled radiator (in front of air intake behind tent)

Hi Growmies Eight weeks into our cultivation journey, Epic Buzz has shown a resilience and robustness that exemplifies the best of indoor growing. The transition from vegetative to flowering is a critical time, and our plant is meeting it with a vitality that bodes well for the coming bloom. Here’s what’s happening: The root system of Epic Buzz is nothing short of spectacular, having completely filled and begun to overflow the confines of the net pot. Such vigorous root growth is a sure sign of a healthy and thriving plant. Since being topped, the Epic Buzz has recovered admirably, pushing out a lush canopy of large fan leaves and new growth sites. This process is crucial for maximizing yield and ensuring even light distribution across future bud sites. The plant has been moved under the Sanlight Q4V2 and has had its light cycle switched to 12/12 to initiate flowering. This change marks the beginning of a new phase of growth, one that will see the plant mature and start to form buds. The plant has been diligently cared for with a feeding regime tailored for this stage of growth, with a high dosage of Orca and Canna Boost to fortify its vigor as it transitions into flowering. With the Biscotti strain nearing the end of its cycle, Epic Buzz will soon have a dedicated space to expand and flourish. The next move will be into a tent where it can truly shine as it enters the full flowering phase. The journey with Epic Buzz continues to be a source of pride and excitement. As we move into the flowering stage, each new development brings anticipation for what's to come. The strength and beauty of the plant at this stage—lush, green, and full of life—are the rewards of careful tending and a passion for growing. Stay tuned for the next update, where I'll share the early flowering developments and the plant's adjustment to its new home. Stay Lifted Salokin

~ GG4 SHERBET FAST FLOWER by FastBuds ~ Well fam, here we go again with another epic strain from FastBuds Fast Flowering stable. After having such tremendous success growing their Gorilla Cookies Fast Flower outdoors last year, I've decided to run another of their fast flowering strains outdoors this year... GG4 Sherbet Fast Flower! The best description of this awesome cultivar comes directly from my friends at FastBuds which is as follows: "Bred from extremely potent and flavorful Gorilla Glue and Orange Sherbet genetics, GG4 Sherbet FF (Fast-Flowering) takes all the best traits to the next level, offering a high-yielding strain that can produce up to 600 g/m2 in a 7-week flowering time. This super resilient Indica-leaning hybrid thrives indoors and outdoors, and in all types of climates while producing mouth-watering sweet, fruity, spicy and earthy terps that translate into a delicious sugary hazelnut aroma. Expect an extremely relaxing and overall happy effect that’ll leave you with a huge smile from ear to ear. It’s the perfect strain for growers of all levels of experience seeking low-maintenance yet highly productive photoperiod varieties that deliver quality and quantity without extra effort. GG4 Sherbet FF grows chunky buds with long dark orange hairs and spade-shaped calyxes that get encrusted with trichomes by harvest time, giving them a gorgeous silvery-white appearance. This medium-sized photoperiod can reach up to 200 cm in height and yields up to 650 g/m2 while developing that typical hybrid structure. GG4 Sherbet FF grows with a stocky, bushy appearance, developing one sturdy main cola and fat side branches that support huge yields without much effort. This super-fast variety produces distinctive light-green buds with a high bud-to-leaf ratio, making your trimming sessions a breeze. It’s a top-notch resin producer that doesn’t need much maintenance and will thrive in almost every climate, rewarding growers of all levels with extremely flavorful resin that makes for outstanding hash end extracts." ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the GG4 Sherbet Fast Flower indoors as our weather is still too cold to put her outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 30's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures stay above the mid 40's℉, at which point she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes, and then let the fun begin!🤪💚 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 4/18- Here we go into Week Three for the FastBuds GG4 Sherbet Fast Flower. She's fully acclimated to her outdoor location now and all I'm waiting for is the weather to warm up! 4/20- 🍃HAPPY 420 FAM!🍃 4/22- The GG4 Sherbet FF continues to do well with good color and vigor, considering the cooler weather we're having right now, adding another set of leaves. 4/24- I gave her a good watering today and am getting ready to get some straw to spread over her soil mound to help keep the soil moist and reduce watering frequency. There's another week for the little GG4 Sherbet FF. I'm really anticipating seeing her take off once our weather gets a bit warmer! Hope to see you next week... 😎

Week 3 of veg. And within a couple of days of the changes, they all hit their stride in earnest. We fim’d mid-week and they all bounced back quickly despite some cuts being a little on the long side. Approx. 24 days of veg. And they’ve now been flipped to flower. So far, the system has proven impressive despite a failure of our run off pump. Just a cheap bilge pump that was doomed to fail and has since been replaced with something a little more durable. We’ve got some trademark NL variegation showing now and they all stretch from the second node very similarly to the SB. Seems as though we’ve got a good gene mix here but the proof will be in the bud pudding. Should have the males picked out and culled within a week or so. Until then - all is extremely well in this tent👌👍.

Did some high stress training on the painkiller and honey cream maybe it was a bit late for that but I wanted to really make sure that they have a the space they need. Autumn is here and it did start with a lot of rain, I'm a little worried about mold if it's raining non stop. The temperatures dropped down to 10c° in the night and humidity is high, so fingers crossed that no mold will appear. The honey cream finally started to flower properly but she's still around 3 weeks behind the other two strains. The painkiller is getting closer to the finish line, she still has around 2/3weeks to go though. All plants received a lot of thining out removed some branches and leaves, lolipopping style hope this help increase the airflow and prevent mold. Pictures made while it raining.

Back 2 are on week 5 day 34 of flowering & front plant Orange sherbet clone is week 8 day 54 & very close to harvest, changed her over & flushing with water & Rezin only. Awaiting delivery of a new 60x microscope lense to view trichomes but the buds look like their just about done. Calyx closed & swollen, amber pistils curling in, they are nice & dense buds.
