BLAZED

I’ve had a tumultuous month. First, happiness. My daughter got her dream job, and her future now seems set, and totally in her hands. Second, utter sadness. My mother died on March 18th, and that is a hard blow to take. Third, a mixture of happiness and sadness. A week after my mothers funeral I had to help move my daughter over 500 miles away for her dream job. She got her first apartment, and as of yesterday, is now 100% independent. As her father, I’m happy, very proud, and a little sad that my baby girl is a grown woman on her own. Then happy again to know that her grandmother lived to see her granddaughters dream come true. I haven’t given this contest, or this website a single thought until tonight. To my utter surprise and somewhat subdued shock (I’m chillin on some bud right now), I log on tonight to see if I had any messages, or to look at something I may want to grow, and I get the winner notification that I placed 8th in this months contest. A very pleasant surprise, and validation for sticking with a hard diary. If you’ve read it, you’ll realize Stella’s Trio started out as a Cuatro (3 started out as 4). I have hope for better diaries in the future with all of the wonderful seeds from the prize pack. I can’t wait!! Congratulations to all of the other selected winners. To all of you that weren’t selected; don’t give up. Try and try again I say. The worst thing that happens is that you end up with some great bud to smoke! That in itself is a victory.
