This week I stopped to feed the smaller one which is maturing faster and doing now flushing. The bigger one is still fed because the flowers are looking too young and will propably improve their size. I think I'll do the harvest of the bigger one on 20th of August. The smaller one goes in ca. 5-8 days maybe I think.

Great week with this gals. BIG GAINS! Over 5 inches of upward growth in a week, and tons of flower. These are gonna be BIG girls! Introduced a light feeding of flora trio. 5ml of each per gallon and 5ml per gal of calimagic. Introduced some light defoliation this week as well. So far so good. I actually moved these girls from the hps to the brand new HLG Diablo 650r. Im able to fit all 10 plants in my grow under the one light, so I will save on heat and electric and give the Diablo a whirl. I expect some major swelling this coming week! Day 42

I look forward to trying this strain. She’s a great yielder and looks beautiful. She smells great (fruity and grapey) and is absolutely covered with trichomes. I couldn’t ask for more!

Girls have settled into summer camp nicely. Worries about not taking the transplant diminish more each day and I am gaining more confidence in strong roots with each passing day as well. I had to build a supplemental lighting system for the greenhouse. Here at home we are experiencing a wetter than usual summer so far and with that brings clouds. So I needed to do something. So I built a new greenhouse light. It cranks out some light. Currently at canopy I’m measuring around 600 PPFD. Plants are loving it. All three plants sexed and all are females. Didn’t think otherwise. So the formula 707 is performing better than expected. Water retention is crazy. Watered the plants on Sunday with a gallon each , today is Thursday and no water needed. Going to try and get to Sunday for a whole week between watering. *** update, added a short video from 7am this morning. The girls really do like the homemade light.

They’re looking extremely healthy..gave em their first nute feed with the last watering seem to be doing fairly well..fimmed the GG and LST. Did not touch the unkown as it looks smaller to be the same age. Running GHE base line with few extra supplements. ****UPDATE**** Both are LST’d..might rethink the way I tie them. Going for a “coil” type look, we’ll see though. They’re looking great! Hoping for females!

Week 4 flower : everything’s looking nice still got the lights about 7-9” from top of canopy without any issues . The humidity has gone up to 50% in day and I can’t really get it any lower I’ve already got a dehumidifier so don’t want to get another one . I would like to lower to 40-45% and lower for last 2 weeks but can’t see that happening . I’ve started the pk from end of week 4 (day 28 )at 1ml per litre this took my ec to 2.2 I will see how it goes and maybe up it to 1.2-1.5 and I’m going to use the pk for 7-14 days then I will start the flush I also lowered the silicone to 0.5ml per litre 3x blue cheese plants are on the left but has spread over and 1x sunset sherbet on the right

WEEK 11 (Day 71-77) I harvested all my Dos-si-dos on Day 73. The plants remained very small and compact, which was partly intentional. The pot volume was set quite low, which I wasn't entirely happy with. Splitting the pots also turned out to be less practical, as the plants ended up too close together. Despite that, the harvest turned out quite respectable. Visually, I really like it the dark tone and the many trichomes make for a fantastic look. The aroma is also quite special. First and foremost, I find it has a strong, sweet note in its scent. As for the cultivation, the Dos-si-dos were very easy to care for and handled all training exceptionally well. Due to the short distance between the shoots, I might even recommend LST or just a single, simple topping. I fertilized almost exclusively organically, except that I added a bit of Plagron Green Sensation during the flowering phase. I continuously defoliated well to ensure good air circulation, which worked quite well. In the last two weeks, I kept the lights on for 24 hours straight to avoid fluctuations in temperature and humidity. By the end, I settled at a DLI of around 60—it was a bit more than desired but still worked fine. In the last week, I only watered with plain water and dimmed the lights a bit. Some of the tips developed a purplish hue. The buds appear very firm and voluminous, sparkling thanks to the dense, white layer of trichomes. I would absolutely grow this strain again since it has a truly great and robust growth pattern, though next time, I would choose larger pots. I'm now drying my harvest at around 60% RH and 21°C until the smaller stems become brittle, then I'll store them in my hygrometer jars for curing. I'm satisfied with the yield as well. Based on my calculations, I reached about 400g/m². A good result for such small bonsai-like plants. For small grow spaces, this strain is really perfect. I've never grown such small yet productive plants before, and I found it to be a great change of pace. A huge thank you to Zamnesia for the support—it was, as always, an honor.

Wochenupdate – Tag 91 | Blüte Tag 31 🌱 Allgemeiner Eindruck Der Grow läuft insgesamt noch stabil, aber man sieht inzwischen recht deutlich, dass die Pflanzen in den letzten Tagen am Limit gefahren sind. Der Blütenaufbau geht weiter voran, der Geruch wird intensiver und die Kush zeigt ordentlich Harz, gleichzeitig zeigen beide Pflanzen sichtbare Calcium- und allgemeine Nährstofftransportprobleme, die klar auf das Klima zurückzuführen sind. Das war für die Blümchen spürbar Stress. 🌡️ Klima & VPD Durch trockene Winter- und Heizungsluft kam es zeitweise zu sehr hohen VPD-Werten (teils im Bereich 1,7–1,9), vor allem morgens – klassisch morgens Sahara, mittags Treibhaus. In dieser Phase stand mein Luftbefeuchter noch bei einer anderen Pflanze. Er ist inzwischen wieder im Blütezelt, wodurch sich das Klima deutlich beruhigt hat. Die aktuellen Symptome zeigen gut, dass der Nährstoff- und Calciumtransport unter dem hohen VPD schlicht eingebrochen war. Nährstoffe & Maßnahmen CalMag wurde ordentlich erhöht, um die Calcium-Verfügbarkeit abzusichern. Zusätzlich wurden Mikroben gegeben, um das System wieder besser ins Arbeiten zu bringen. Bio-Bloom wurde ganz dezent nachgeschoben. Durch das ungünstige VPD haben die Pflanzen zeitweise nicht sauber getrunken, was den Transport zusätzlich ausgebremst hat. Seit der Entlaubung an BT21 ist der Wasserverbrauch sowieso etwas geringer. Jetzt heißt es: abwarten, wirken lassen, Geduld üben 🐛 Schädlingslage Trauermücken gehen dank Nematoden langsam zurück. Trips sind weiterhin präsent, daher gab es nochmals Raubmilben sowie Florfliegenlarven zur Regulierung. ✅ Fazit Insgesamt bin ich weiter zuversichtlich. Der Stretch ist eingefangen, die Richtung stimmt, auch wenn das Klima kurz deutlich zu hart war. Jetzt geht es darum, das Setup stabil zu halten und den Pflanzen Zeit zu geben, sich wieder sauber einzupendeln. Draußen Winter, drinnen Blüte. Allen eine gute Woche. 🌱 RockoCalenberg Weekly Update – Day 91 | Flower Day 31 🌱 Overall Impression Overall the grow is still running stable, but it’s now quite clear that the plants have been pushed close to their limit over the last days. Bud development is progressing, the smell keeps getting stronger and the Kush is showing plenty of resin. At the same time, both plants show visible calcium and general nutrient transport issues, clearly linked to the climate. This phase definitely caused some stress. 🌡️ Climate & VPD Due to dry winter air and heating, VPD levels were temporarily very high (partly around 1.7–1.9), especially in the mornings – classic Sahara in the morning, greenhouse at noon. During that time, the humidifier was still running with another plant. It has since been moved back into the flower tent, which helped calm and stabilize the climate again. The current symptoms clearly show that nutrient and calcium transport was simply maxed out under those high VPD conditions – this wasn’t just isolated spots, but visible overall. Nutrients & Actions CalMag was increased properly to secure calcium availability. In addition, microbes were applied to help the system get back into balance. Bio-Bloom was topped up very lightly. Because of the unfavorable VPD, the plants were not drinking cleanly at times, which further limited nutrient transport. Since the defoliation at FD21, overall water uptake has been slightly lower and is being taken into account. For now it’s about waiting and letting things work, without further interventions. 🐛 Pest Situation Fungus gnats are slowly declining thanks to nematodes. Thrips are still present, so another round of predatory mites was added, along with lacewing larvae for additional control. ✅ Conclusion Overall I’m still confident. Stretch is under control and the direction is right, even though the climate was clearly too harsh for a short period. Aug 10: doing quite well and is still the tallest of the four plants. Manifolded to 8 colas, and she has the most sativa type leaves of the four plants. Lots of rain lately but still needed lo be watered twice today as always. Top dressing of malted barley and Gaia Power Bloom. Aug 13: don’t take flash pics unless you’re immediately using a 730 nm light as a bloom booster. The far red light puts the plant into dark mode two hours faster. I figure this far red light counteracts the flash which is good side benefi.
