These ladies are solid and filled with tons of orange hairs. The smell is like no other of citrus and fresh cut wood. One week then I am going to flush her.

Day 71. Flushed this week. Could harvest already but will give her 1 more week.

Tag 14 Die erste Woche der Keimung war… sagen wir mal, eine echte Herausforderung. Und auch in die zweite Woche starten wir mit einigen Schwierigkeiten. Der pH-Wert im Gießwasser tanzt immer noch Tango und will sich einfach nicht stabilisieren lassen. Alle sechs Stunden muss ich ran und nachjustieren – ganz schön zeitaufwendig! Auch die Temperaturen sind noch ein Thema. 27 Grad sind einfach zu hoch, und da die kleinen Pflänzchen noch keine schattenspendenden Blätter haben, heizt es ordentlich auf. Ich habe mir aber mit Kühlpacks beholfen und das Gießwasser auf angenehme 22 Grad runtergekühlt. Hoffentlich mögen das die Wurzeln! Immerhin: Die Wurzelbildung scheint gut voranzugehen, jede Pflanze hat jetzt schon ein kleines Wurzelnetz entwickelt. Um jeder Pflanze die besten Startbedingungen zu geben, habe ich ihnen jetzt jeweils ein eigenes Licht spendiert. So kann ich die optimalen Werte für jede einzelne einstellen. Ob das alles so klappt, wie ich es mir vorstelle, wird sich in den nächsten Wochen zeigen. Aber wir starten optimistisch in Tag 14! Was steht heute auf dem Plan? Ich werde die pH-Werte im Auge behalten und schauen, ob die Kühlpacks die Wassertemperatur stabil halten können. Außerdem werde ich die kleinen Pflanzen genau beobachten, ob es ihnen gut geht. Day 43 - Starting week 7 and damn this girl is taking off. She’s starting to bud up nicely and doesn’t seem to have any issues from the feeding of bloom nutes yesterday. The pot is already starting to get light so will be giving her some pH’d water and cal-mag in the next day or two. Day 44 - Nothing much new today but she’s definitely starting her stretch. She’s stretching close to an inch every 24 hours and hoping she doesn’t get too crazy. Will be giving her some fresh water tomorrow. Debating on doing some defoliation, she’s pretty damn bushy right now so might just do a couple fan leaves here and there till I get her thinned out. Day 46 - The girl was pretty dry today and gave her a full gallon of pH’d water (6.4) and some cal-mag. Bud sites are definitely starting to fill in quite and bit and she’s looking great but I did remove a few leaves today to try and make her a little less bushy and will continue to remove a few every few days until she’s nice and open. Day 48 - Almost the end of week 7 and she’s filling in nicely. Will be giving her another feeding of nutes tomorrow and removed a couple more fan leaves tonight.

Blackberry moonrocks the leaves on both the seedlings have a very distinct look definitely different than the average leaf really pointy and 1 of the 2 seedlings sits praying 100% of the day. I think that one is really going to be a winner. Last grow I overwatered and had to toss them because growth got stunted and a bunch if fungus knats got to the soil. This time I'm trying promix potting soil wish I had tried promix hp but the store close by isn't a hudro store and that's what they had. So this time I'm being very cautious with the watering I'm only useing a spray bottle I'm currently giving 45 spray per solo cup every few days when it dries out. This promix soil seems to hold water decent so the 45 spray there is 0 water coming out the bottom the cup yet. Here soon I think I'm going to double the amount of spray to 90 and start letting the soil get dry dry before watering again. Probably will hold off on any nutes quite yet. I'm going from 24/0 to 20/4 light schedule this week. There getting to the point they won't strech as much is 4 hrs of darkness and I'm rasing the light intensity a little it's been around 150 I'm upping it to around 175. Most likely by the end of the week I'll probably be pushing 200 or close. Hopefully I can get them into the big tent soon At this stage I like to alternate having the fan blowing on them I feel it gives them time to recover and get stronger instead of wind stress. Also every few days I will turn the plants so they are facing away from the light making them grow back towards the light I fell it makes them stronger

05/30 - (C) - As we closer to harvest all 8 ladies are running at full capacity with 0 issues - I will be increasing their nute feeds to 3 times a day and will be using more phosphate, potassium and Cane Molasses on the heavy feeds and Silica, Flower fuel, kelp and bloom for supplement feeds. The Mandarin Squeeze sisters are growing good. One took dominance of course. That plant was hst today. So the canopy of the two is closer together. I also lollipopped the bottoms out. I took a few clone clippings as well. Everything is looking good at the moment. 18 plants now removing the 3 smallest ones

The plants are stressed AF and after more research from being here I'm seeing the problems. I got another fan and put it on the intake duct so that air was being actively pushed in rather than passively from the other fan which only takes air out. And then I got a photometer app called photone. So I fixed it until it read 100 on the PAR meter which the guys at the grow place told me was good. Now with this hygrometer I can pay attention to this and maybe set up alerts for when the VPD exceeds a certain range.

Sep 6: the top buds are mostly ready. Final Flush was applied two days ago and are supposed to wait 7-10 days. Will wait a bit longer but harvest will be starting soon. Sep 7: harvested 740 g wet buds into freezer. When dried this will be about 180 g. Lower buds will be another week or two. Sep 12: most likely will be harvested tomorrow. These are really nice hard buds. Don’t take flash pics of your plants unless you follow up with a far red light. Otherwise…hermies are more likely.

it's always a pleasure to do business with Barney's Farm!!! They have never let me down even once!! Even in the worst situations and conditions they have always been able to bring out the best for me!! I really enjoyed forcing these plants to see their reactions, but I wouldn't do it again as a technique because it only serves to keep the canopy low but not to increase the yields...or...at least in my case I didn't find it of fundamental importance....maybe a simple cut of the apical top and that was it! but that's fine 😉

First grow completed, turned out far better than I could ever have hoped, the plants totally bossed it for all the winging it and improvising I put them through, but we got there in the end haha, Looking forward to next grow, can't wait to enjoy using all good genetics, already have some Bruce banner #3 seeds ready to roll out :) Thanks for reading

Plants Flipped to flower on a 12/12 light schedule. EC dropped slightly to try and reduce any major stretch. These plants should have been lollipoped last week before putting them into a scrog but unfortunately I was unable to, so I have to remove the Scrog to make it easy to lollipop and then place them back into a Scrog once lollipoped. When the Scrog was placed back on it was more for support as I'd already built the structure of the plant the prior weeks. Although a few lanky branches did get bended back over. Another Scrog layer will probably added later in flower for further support when buds start forming.
