These ladies are really fattening up and building heavy trichomes.I absolutely love this strain as it’s my 2nd run of the frostbanger.I have increased the light intensity to 80 percent and I will continue the same feeding schedule

This week is been great. I started with high ppm on the 2nd week for the nutrient kick , now just a low dose of growth enhancer. Good roots system. Topped them just 1 time and cleaning them from useless leafs. Using reverse osmosis water (15ppm)

Hello Bros&Sis! Ciao!😊 this time I've decided to made a video update, from the start of the week to the finish, we're gonna see some BIG differences! (The longest is from the end) About the ladies: Girls in coco Royal AK- she's drinking every single drop op solution and has literally exploded! I'm really happy about her training (top/lst/hst). A very strong strain. OG Kush- I don't get this girl, she's definitely not an heavy drinker. Speedy Chile FF- when I re-potted her into 6lt pot, some of my Bros hoped for a Baobab, what do you think?😂 (has some mutations, has a growth of 3 leaves and then 2 branches have joined together and the other has grown normally) Ladies in Soil: UK Cheese auto- I've broke a branch due to heavy crop. Lesson learned. Pink Doc CBD auto- she's growing good, finally! The only thing I'm worried about is that she will not grow so much, because switch is near. Candy Kush Express- A really nice lady, not too tall, good side branches and she take everything with no care less (one of the most "broken" in the tent) Special Kush#1- She likes her new pot, but there's something wrong (see leaves) maybe related to VPD or RU? I've used different techniques on this ladies, but the one I like the most is cropping the branches and the main stems and also broke the branches where meets the stems, to give'em more power, and more "space" for nutrients transports in sight of bloom! That's all mate, we will see soon for the next update! Ciao!😙 (hey @Growdiaries if you want to use my video, feel free to do it, but please, don't change the music, it's already on YT and for CC use)

**Encontrarás la traducción a español al final de la descripción** From/Desde: 19/04/19 || To/Hasta: 25/04/19 From day/Desde día: 57 || To day/Hasta día: 63 You can find the Gorillas Diary here (Texts are the same this week): ** Podéis encontrar el diario de las Gorilla aquí (Los textos son iguales esta semana):** https://growdiaries.com/diaries/25675-makingmoney-with-gorilla-mm-vs-gorilla -----IMAGES & VIDEOS----- 1 - Before defoliation 2 - Defoliation 3 - After defoliation -----WEEK SUMMARY----- (Following text was translated with tools and reviewed, sorry for mistakes, misspellings or nosense things) As you can see I've done a defoliation this week. Yes, I have really gone over the top, I have removed many more leaves than I had, and the tails of the plants has not come to join at all due to the failed defoliation. Being the first defoliation I do, I did not really know what I was doing and I went crazy. Now that it has been several weeks since I made this defoliation, I realize that I should not have removed the leaves from the nodes of the tails, because they have stopped growing and have not joined with their superior parts. Anyway, the plants are beautiful today and although they could be much better I feel very happy with them. I know I've made 2 fatal mistakes in this grow - The first has been the massive defoliation badly done, defoliation yes, but with head ... do not follow my example. - The second failure that I see today, is that I did not leave enough growth time (18/6) after having made the last pruning and that has made the tails have been a length much less than what would have been desired, I think that 2 more weeks of growth would have been perfect. -----WATERING CALENDAR----- 20/04/19 - 1,250 ml with Sensizym, Silica, Rhino Sk, Bud Ignitor, Big Bud, Bud Candy & Bud Factor-x @ PH6.4 & 1.2 E.C. 23/04/19 - 1,250 ml with All week nutrients - (Silica, Sensizym & Bud Ignitor) @ PH6.5 & 1.5 E.C.

The flowers start to grow and are getting well whites. My first plant got a problem, he got yellow tip of leaves probably too much nutriment, but it is strange, because he get exactly the same as the other. Maybe I defoliated too much...i give him a stand-by. Otherwhise everything is ok, not easy to keep them in shape

Defoliated here and there, she's stretching hard now so I'm gonna have to wait a few more weeks before I can really start stripping and defoliating her. Because I LST, topped, and then super cropped all the main branches, there's way to much branches for the available surface.

Start of week 7 I was worried Quick one was going to stay small but it definitely stretched (41cm tall) it seems to be flowering slower than the other plants but grew so much taller! not a noticable smell off it yet, i think its only beginning to put its energy into buds :) really excited to harvest! added a couple of photos of the chillis also, they are enjoying the light :) Day 51 - 12/11/19 Quick one is starting to grow sugar leaves in between the pistils! roll on heavy flowering :) will add pictures soon.

Skywalker OG — Legends of the 12/12 Galaxy Week 7 From Seed | Week 2 Flower Structural Defoliation + Clip Release + Stretch Acceleration ⸻ 🌡️ Environment Snapshot (Current Reality) • 🌡️ Day Temp: ~28°C • 💧 RH: ~65% • ⚡ EC: ~2.9 • pH: ~6.5 • 📏 Height: 40–80 cm • 💡 LED (multi-layer canopy + under-canopy) On paper? Some growers panic at 28°C in flower. In practice? Understanding beats numbers. ⸻ 🍃 LED, Leaf Temperature & VPD (Why 28°C Is Not “Too Hot”) Under LED: • No infrared radiation blast like HPS • Leaf surface temp typically 2–4°C cooler than room So: • Room ≈ 28°C • Leaf ≈ 24–26°C • RH ≈ 65% 👉 Leaf VPD sits beautifully in early–mid flower range. And the plants confirm it: • Deep green tone • No tacoing • No stress curl • No clawing • Strong praying posture • Internode stacking consistent The leaves are not just “nice.” They are metabolically comfortable. ⸻ 🌿 Defoliation — What Actually Happened I didn’t trim for aesthetics. I reset the architecture. From the timeline photos: Before: • Dense interior • Lower growth competing • Air pockets blocked • Light penetration limited After: • Clear lower third (true lollipop) • Secondary branches prioritized • Top energy redirected upward • Under-canopy airflow massively improved And the removed leaf pile? That tells the story of biomass management, not plant stress. Very important: The structure after defoliation still looks balanced — not skeletal. That means you removed intelligently, not emotionally. ⸻ 🔩 Clip Removal — The Branch Memory Effect Now let’s talk about something many growers don’t understand. When you use clips or branch spreaders: • You temporarily manipulate auxin distribution • You redirect apical dominance • You force lateral exposure Once removed? The plant reacts in 24–72 hours. From your timeline screenshots: • Branches begin to arc upward • Nodes reorient toward light • Vertical dominance partially reasserts • But structure remains widened This is perfect timing to remove clips: Week 2 flower stretch phase. Why? Because now: • The branch has lignified enough to hold structure • The stretch will “lock in” the new angles • You avoid late-flower snapping risk You can already see: The tops are reclaiming verticality while keeping spacing. That is textbook. ⸻ 🌱 The Burned Leaves (Under-Canopy Lighting) I saw the small localized tip burns. Important observations: • Not systemic • Not progressing • Mostly lower / under-canopy exposure • Slight edge crisping from proximity to under-light This is photonic intensity + proximity — not nutrient burn. Your EC at 2.9 is high compared to your other girls, yes. But here’s the key: They are eating it. Signs of overfeeding would show as: • Uniform tip burn across canopy • Dark clawing • Slowed growth • Salt buildup symptoms You have none of that. Instead: • Vigorous stretch • Praying posture • Uniform leaf tone So the EC is higher because: This phenotype is demanding more during stretch. That’s not excess. That’s appetite. ⸻ 🚀 The Stretch Now let’s talk genetics. Week 2 flower is just the beginning for these. Expect: • 1.5–2x final stretch potential • Continued vertical gain next 10–14 days • Later pistil stacking compared to indica-leaners And yes — i may need to raise the LEDs. At 60 cm now? They are not done. The fact they are praying constantly tells me: They want more light — not less. But we watch: If distance drops too much, you’ll see leaf flattening before tacoing. That’s your early warning. ⸻ Two Plants — Two Personalities You can clearly see: One Plant : • More structured • Tighter node stacking • Slightly thicker leaf The other Plant : • More vertical aggression • Strong apical reclaim after clip removal • Haze-like frame expansion This is why running multiple phenos is beautiful. We’re not just growing. We’re studying expression. ⸻ 📈 What To Expect Next Week Expect: • Continued stretch (especially haze leaner) • First real pistil clustering • Stem thickening • Faster water uptake • Slight EC hunger spike Do Not Expect Yet: • Bud swelling • Calyx stacking • Resin explosion • Final leaf posture We are still in transition. This is architectural week — not production week. ⸻ ❤️ And The Leaves… You’re right. They are beautiful. Wide, defined serrations. Strong petiole angles. No mottling. No interveinal chlorosis. No stress striping. They look metabolically confident. That’s the best compliment a plant can receive. ⸻ 🙏 Gratitude Section To everyone: • The OGs who’ve been here since seed • The new growers learning through mistakes and wins • The silent readers • The loud critics • The Grow Diaries community • The platform hosting the journey • The sponsors supporting education • And every single person watching this experiment unfold This is not just a grow. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art. Lots of smells have become their own... The fried banana has this crazy skunk smell with a real earth dirt smell once the skunk fades... The orange cake NO kidding, smells like a fresh peeled orange and some kind of batter smell... It's nuts... The big Z has the immediate Skittles blast with a earthy afternote... And the paint is just like the last one and smells real chemical like! When u say the name it makes u smell the paint... Is that just me???? Hahaha anyways... Thats what I got .. everything is going amazing and for day 37 I think they've filled out real nice... Now hopefully they fatten up in the next 20-30 days!!!!

It’s finally getting a nice green colour This week I changed the scrog net , it’s about 7” above the top of the pots . upped the nutes to 1.8-2 ec. Sprayed with canna cure Watering every morning to about 10% run off Lollipoped an defoliated ,Waiting to fill the net a bit more but will be switching to 12/12 very soon.
