Hello growmies! Transplanted the 5 ladies to their final 5 gallon pots this week! Put the lights down to low, and moved them to about 24 inches from the plants. Now to watch them stretch! Everything went smooth. 100% germination rate! Shout out to SensiSeeds for the seeds for this grow! All in all a great week, not much growth but they got their first set of true leaves! Fruity and sweet. Hopefully coming up on harvest shortly. 5/20- harvested one of the gals. So smol! But I love her. She smells like grape jelly. This time I am READY with my dry tent. I think I’ll give the other pot just a few more days…

It's been two weeks since I added the last pictures, I'm glad they're growing, they're blooming, but I'm not satisfied when I see when I see other growers' plants I'm ashamed, I'm glad at least that as a beginner I managed at least this...

Welcome back to my humidity hell. I just can't set the humidity down to where I want it. I did some more defoliation this week. Perhaps that will help the humidity a bit. These girls grew a bit bigger than I expected, and this may be contributing to my high humidity numbers. Other that that, these girls are stacking up nicely! They continue to have no problems and look healthy!

She was the Star of the Grow and My Best Yield yet. She was Easy to Grow but I'd suggest taking Care to not overdo the Nutrients. Ran into some early Signs of Burn but She was Fine once I went back to 1/2 Dosage. I Cut the 4 Main Colas to Hang n Clipped the rest at the Buds to Lay Out n Dry. I Barely have Room in My Drying Box. If I've found My Grower's Stride like I Hope I have I'll need to Construct a New Larger Box. By my Calculations She should Dry Out to about 60 Grams. 14.11.2025 Was going to close the diary today but as it doesn't smell anymore I decided to close the diary this coming Tuesday, smell shifted from chemical fish ammonia to cooked fish with the additional Citric acid I sprayed in, rest in video 📸 🐟💀 FERMAKOR: The Dorade Incident – Spontaneous Batch Log (Because the fish came with guts, and I don’t waste potential) --- 🍽️ How It Started I ordered two big Dorades for dinner. Didn’t bother ticking the “cleaned” box. They arrived whole — full organs, eyes staring, one of them with a stomach packed with broken seashells (free CaCO₃ bonus). So instead of complaining, I just said: “Alright, fine. Dinner first. Hydrolysis later.” --- ⚗️ Phase 1 — The Gut Start (Day 1) Material: 160 g of fresh guts straight from the fish. KOH: 20 g (yep, strong ratio, I know). Water: ~250 mL warm. Dissolved KOH → poured over → stirred → left to liquefy. Within minutes it warmed up and foamed; by evening it was already turning into that deep brown, oil-slick mix I like. --- Phase 2 — The Rest Goes In (Day 2) After dinner, all the remaining parts go into the same container: Heads, bones, fins, skin — roughly 500–600 g. Add another 30–35 g KOH and ~0.5 L water. Stir and let it digest for a week or two or three, until smooth. The seashells stay in — they buffer the pH and slowly release Ca and trace minerals. --- ⚖️ Phase 3 — Neutralization Once the mix settles, I’ll neutralize down to pH 6.2–6.4 using phosphoric acid. Target ~40 mL of 59 % H₃PO₄ for the whole thing. Then strain through cheesecloth / pillowcase (no coffee filter — that’s only for exports 😎). --- Storage Bottled in brown flip-top German beer bottles. The #2 plant continues to be ahead of the other two, and is really frosting up nicely. The #2 and #3 plants look pretty crappy, and after examining some other plants in the tent I've got a good idea of the issue. The fabric pots that the plants are in are supposed to 'air prune' the roots, preventing them from growing outside of the pot, and instead growing a large mass inside of the pot. I pulled one of the pots from its bucket and it was disgusting, with rotting clumps of roots in the bottom of the bucket along with some nasty looking brown slime. The fabric pot also had roots growing out of it, along with that brown slime across the bottom of the pot...ugh! 12/1- Tomorrow I'll be doing another drain/clean/fill of the reservoir, after which I'll add Plagron Cocos 'A' & 'B' along with Green Sensation and Royal Rush. After adding the nutrients I'll ph the solution to 5.6-5.8 @ 70℉. 12/3- Yesterday I did the drain/fill and continue to have the Plagron nutrient level at 800ppm. The #3 plant continues to struggle, but nevertheless is flowering away and actually has pretty decent trichome production, which I wonder if the stress she's experiencing has an affect on either positively or negatively. 12/5- There is four weeks of flowering for the Strawberry Gorilla's. Although they sure could look a whole lot better, they for sure could look way worse. End of Week 10 (Third week of flower) The ladies are frosting up slightly and there are trichomes developing on the fan leaves, this can only mean that they are happy, the genetics are fire and that we are in for a treat! The main top-sites are swelling up by the day. Trying to keep the training to a bare minimum and ONLY removing fan leaves that are blocking bud sites. The lower part of the canopy is denser than I would have liked but I do not want to stress the plants too much by removing it at all. I will now try to keep a cooler average temperature in the following couple of weeks to promote healthy flower development and hopefully bring out some beautiful colours - and also keep the relative humidity lower to ensure that the plants aren't susceptible to mould and mildew. D64. We're at the start of the fourth week of flower, and today was a busy day. First, I had to remove the old lights before swapping in the light from my auto tent. All while trying to avoid trashing the plants in the way too full tent. Not an easy task. The entire mission, with changing the light in the auto tent as well, took a couple of hours. I wish I could keep the Greenception lights in the tent as they're high-quality lights, but the Kingbrite has a much lower profile and thus takes up much less space. Space that I desperately need considering how insanely much these girls stretched. One of the tops on the second girl has unfortunately already been bunt by being too close to the light, and I'm sure I will run into light bleaching and probably foxtailing as the grow progress, but I hope I will be able to pull it off with the Kingbrite light. I also added some wire support to the branches that I super-cropped, as they looked somewhat sad after all the abuse to the canopy while swapping the lights. ------------------------------ D66. It looks like the girls have FINALLY stopped stretching. Phew! Yesterday, I gave each girl 2.5 liters of water @ pH 6.2 with humic acid and EM-1. Today, the green lacewing larvae (Chrysoperla Carnea) arrived, and I dispersed them in the tent to deal with the thrips. ------------------------------ D68. All is well in the tent, but now when the thrips are (hopefully) under control, it's time to address the VPD. It has gotten seriously out of wack due to dropping temps, plus I increased the humidity to make the environment more inhospitable for the thrips. The temps were low due to the light change as the new one is running a lot cooler, but the temps have also dropped outside. The heating in the lungroom has been off until now, so I turned that on and lowered the humidity threshold on my exhaust fan. Finally, I put my small humidifier in the tent, generating extra heat and decreasing the humidity. So far, the VPD has increased from a terrible 0.4-0.5 to an acceptable 0.9, and I'm hoping it will increase further as the ambient RH drops as we move into winter. ------------------------------ D70. We're at the end of the fourth week of flower, and all is well in the tent. The VPD has gone up to 1.0, which is a nice improvement to what it was only a couple of days ago. I haven't scouted yet for thrips, but I will give the lacewings a couple of days to do their thing and then look closer. However, I went to WAR against the spider mites we have in our ornamental plants in the apartment. I sprayed all plants with my homemade pesticide (capsaicin, alcohol, horticultural soap.) since I had it at hand. If that fails to knock the spider mites back, I'll bring out the neem oil instead. The infestations aren't bad (yet), but it would suck to get mites into my tents, so better to be proactive. ------------------------------

Chegou o outono na cidade e no grow kkk também parei de regar com fertilizantes, já tá na hora de começar o flush, alguns buds parecem estar com foxtailing mas nada demais, para mim é mais Bud para carburar kkk. Minha intenção era colher na próxima lua cheia mas elas não vão chegar lá, eu fiquei muito confuso pq alguns tricomas começaram a escurecer faz algumas semanas mas observando melhor percebi que são tricomas das suggar leaves e não do Bud mesmo, pode ser por causa do calor dos leds, hoje dei uma olhada com a lupa nas 3 e por mais que os tricomas estejam leitos e não transparentes quer dizer que ainda dá para deixar mais tempo, seria interessante que aguentassem até a lua crescente pelo menos 💚🌱🍀
