Hi @GetTheGat! You should use the universal hand test, put your hand above the canopy for a minute and see how it feels, if your hand gets too hot, your plants will also suffer. Remember it's easy to burn apical summits with HPS so you better reduce the distance step by step, and see how the plants react. Happy growing! π
GetTheGat Nou, 84 dagen later ... in de bloei was het eindelijk tijd om te oogsten. Ik had zeker mijn uitdagingen als beginner en heb veel geleerd van mijn fouten en het leren oplossen van problemen en het consistent houden van de omgeving. Ik heb mijn 600HPS verlaagd naar 400 omdat mijn planten licht- en hittebrand kregen ..... laten we gewoon zeggen dat ik onderweg aan het leren was. Het was spannend, het was mijn allereerste keer. Ik begon te laat met de bloei en ze rekte en rekte ... ik heb niet veel ruimte .... les geleerd. Ik moest ze trainen om zijwaarts te groeien, wat aanzienlijk hielp, net als het verlagen van mijn licht naar 400 watt .. mijn ruimte is een vierkante meter en laag ...... het was gek, maar ik heb er echt van genoten en ze hangen nu ..... Persoonlijk dacht ik dat ik ze zou doodmaken ... lol

πI sure Learned who ever said its a weed ....throw it in the ground it will grow ..... Ya it willl but ................. To learn about all the aspects of DOING IT RIGHT .... Holy Moly there sure is alot of ways to skin a cat ! I thought id list A few things I learned on my first Hydro grow please keep in mind i knew very little before starting this if my points i make seem simplistic ... But so am I !
- Air flow is very important ...buy a good fan
-Light distance is extremely important leaves can get sunburned and even the intensity of the light can do damage
-stressing out a plant ... over bending a branch....can turn the female into a male
-1 Plant in 1 square meter can grow the same as 4 in the same space
-600 watts was too much for my space 400 watts was more temperature and light intensity wise better
-had Foxtailing do to hight temps 80 F
-i should only add nutrients once a week top up with water only during the week not more nutrients . change water once a week
-i man handle my ladies too much ... was hard not too lol
-I can gender seeds and plants now
-PH is Huge in a Hydro grow. I had to remove one plant as it hermied and because I had 4 plants in one bucket i could not remove the roots ....the PH went crazy dro pping everyday i checked and i ph d up once a day ....it was a battle ... but I was able to keep it between 5 and 7 /// it would drop t0 under 5 at times ....I thought i was gonna get beat on the grow ....but we made it through
-if light and temperature arent consistant ...your buds wont be as well
-I learned how to read and understand trichomes.... important for potency and couchlock which i perfer
-I learned how ompotant defoliating is
-I stay in veg stage to long for the space I had available caused alot of issue ...stretch is an understatement with this grow .. trained them sideways best i could or they would have fried
-Start out simple dont complicate things and make it stressful . add extra equipment and Nutrients when you start getting the hang of it ...try different ways ...because The biggest thing I learned was ...................there is so many ways to skin a cat especially when it comes to Marijuana ..... pay attention to the things that work .
-Most importantly Live , Love and Laugh ..............Lifes too short . Happy Growing Everyone . PEACE !

GetTheGat Ik heb geen idee hoe ik de natte oogst moet wegen ....en het is nog steeds aan het drogen ..... heb een stuk geprobeerd voor een test ....... het is zo bevredigend, de eerste smaak en het gevoel van je eerste oogst ...... Ik moet nu echt giechelen ..... ik ben gewoon zo blij .... omdat ik dacht dat ik iets vreselijk verkeerd zou doen. Het was zeker zenuwslopend om te vragen ... hoe zou het eruit moeten zien ... wat moet ik doen wanneer waar hoe ..... en zoveel manieren om het te doen! Ik ben heel dankbaar voor alle mensen die advies en kritiek hebben gegeven .... het werd zo gewaardeerd en ik heb zoveel geleerd. Vanuit de grond van mijn hart, bedankt jongens .. Proost ...... Ik zal het eindgewicht bijwerken wanneer het gedroogd is ....... Gelukkig groeien iedereen .............. Ik hou van alle dagboeken hier .... zoveel talent ..... Vrede! πππ

@Stick, bedankt voor het advies ... ik kijk goed en zet een goede ventilator tussen de planten en het licht ...... om de strijd te helpen. Heb wat takken horizontaal ... lijkt de stress goed aan te kunnen, dus ik blijf ze begeleiden .... ik heb een handtest gedaan ...... en de alarmbellen gingen af, harde les ... ik wou dat ik terug kon ....... de volgende kweek wordt gaaf ..... ik heb mijn huiswerk gedaan .... lol en leer, vriend ... proost
Wat een geweldige oogst van die planten!! Ik heb dat root farm spul bij Canadian Tire gezien en vroeg me af of iemand anders dacht wat ik dacht. Het lijkt erop dat het behoorlijk goed heeft gewerkt voor mij. Goed gedaan!
@indoorontario,yes it had it moments and lessons .next one im using Sensi grow and Bloom by Advanced nutrients . due to the fact ya want more Nutrients that Marijuana needs .... but i like it ...was fun . Thanks for the compliment . Im going to be filling on my Diariy with all my pictures through the weeks and videos .....i have 1500 i took ... i found it fun and relaxing ... i post the system its self as i made one for this purpose just for fun ...i love it and totally enjoy thre hobby and its rewards ππ
Goed gedaan man:+1:. Het belangrijkste is dat je een hoop spul hebt om te roken en voor mij is dit het belangrijkste teken van een perfecte groei. Ik heb ook RD gekweekt, een van mijn favoriete strains.
