A week of filling out and a flush! The smell is incredible, so hard to describe apart from potent chemicals/paint. I’m closely watching the trichomes for signs of amber, eagerly awaiting the right time to give her 48hours darkness and the chop! The plant has been a pleasure to grow and is really fascinating to see it (finish itself off) 😆 Thanks again for reading and all your support everyone! 2-3 more days till harvest... some flowers need a little extra time. trichomes are 40% -50% amber. 6/19 17 weeks, baby it's about to be harvested, how she looks?... i just put this plant inside my room with the AC ON. THE SMELL MAKES ME SMOKE WEED TILL SUNSET , VERY VERY SWEET 😲

📆 Week 12, 7-12 July 2024 Harvest 8 July - Turned light power down to 25%. Changed nutrient solution to RO water to begin flush. 11 July - Harvest 12 July - Begin curing time. 📑 Harvest time! She is ripe, danky, sticky, full of resin, solid, and I am pleasently suprised at the yield. This is not your ordinary Auto Afghan variety. She produces heavy buds and a lot of them. This is also the first auto I have grown using DWC in 12 weeks without manipulation - 18 hours straight from start to finish. I pushed her to the limit. Now she will hang in the closet at 50-55% RH and 70 degrees F, for about 7-10 days curing. Then she will trimmed and put into one quart glass mason jars, with 62% Boveda TurpShield and burped until 62% RH is maintained. The full potency potential and terp profile will be reached in about 30-45 days. 📆 19 July 2024 The Smoq Report: After 7 days of hanging, she was ready to cut. I trim and shape each individual bud, removing unwanted leaf and stem. It’s a process but worth it if you smoke bud. Her potency is evident. It will take the experienced smoker to a satisfying high and keep you there for a good hour or more before you want another hit. The smell and taste is of a typical Afghan. I was expecting a heavier yield, but in the end I guess we all hope for a little more! Maybe next grow! 🍶 Nutrient solution changed to RO water 💧 Using reverse osmosis water with EC/TDS at 0 🔆 Light power at 25%, DLI 20 canopy coverage at 18hrs 😤 Using PYPABL, Air Pump, 400GPH That is it for this grow. Well we finally got around to putting a gate on the hemp garden and today we are transplanting one of the ladies in the 1 gallon smart pots to a 5 gallon smart pot. For this process we placed about 3 inches of soil in the 5 gallon smart pot, then placed the 1 gallon smart pot with plant still inside on top of the soil. The next step was to start placing soil around the 1 gallon pot, so that it made sort of a mold. Once we got the soil where we wanted it, we removed the Queen Dream cultivar from the 1 gallon smart pot and placed it in the mold that was made in the soil. Finished up by adding some more soil and then watered the newly transplanted lady. No nutrients added this week.

Ladies and Gentlemen we are back!! This project started last Sunday an Germination week was a success for these Purple punch’s an Forbiddin Runtz from Fastbuds 😍! I went with my paper towel method, sprayed down paper towel with pure water, folded it up inside sandwich bag un seeled in a dark cupboard. Checked everyday to make sure paper towel was still moist and on 3rd day we had all 6 pop open! I planted them Wednesday and all 6 popped up in soil on Friday in my Ac Infinity pots using Fox Farms Happy Frog soil! Tomorrow we will give them a small dose of nutrients, will be doing nutes on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays only rest get pure water! Day 100 - All ladies looking good at this point in the grow. Noemi's pistil hairs have mostly all curled up and turned amber in color. Also her trichomes are starting to appear amber in color. Will flush her pot with about 5 gallons of pH'd water soon. Natalia's pistils are about half curled up/amber and half white. Her buds still appear to be packing on trichomes and weight.

Cut off feed last week. I’ll be chopping some time this week.

Started to remove a few leaves here and there . This tent is really impressing me and really putting a lot of size on the buds . So many tops that are just killing it , buds all the way down the stems . Tent is starting to smell pretty fruity . I was pulling leaves off that were covering other bud sites and my hand was sticky from reaching into the canopy and it smelled alot like blueberries. These girls are loving the Innovating plant products nutrient line up I have been feeding them , red sun helped to flip them super fast and I had bud formation 7 days after going to 12/12 schedule. 👍 Thanks for taking a look at my girls .

12/5 They're starting to get taller and develope more leaves. The gorilla zkittlez has some weird markings on its leaves. I don't think it's something I need to worry about because the plant seems healthy but it's worth noting.

Big difference in size from switching to 12/12 and maybe because geisha Foliar all lady’s looking good 😊 and on to flowering 😊

Alright I've updated this postmortem and cure just to give an idea of what I was up to during the dry and cure weeks. This grow was a ton of work and I'm very please with the results. I learned a ton about soil and environment control and really feel like I'm gaining confidence and coming into my own as a cultivator. I've been playing a lot with ice water hash and rosin and have set some neat goals for the future like hunting ice water hash cultivars, going perpetual and expanding the amount of canopy I can work with by building a network of remote-operated satellite flower tents in friends' and family's abodes . Tag 1 - Beginn der 1 Woche. Die Pflanze wurde bisher nur mit Wasser besprüht und die Erde angefeuchtet.

Flower18, riego con 6.2 pH y EC 2.2, pequeña defoliación. Flower22, riego con 6.5 pH y 3.0 EC. Hoy las plantas me han sorprendido, están creciendo mucho sus flores, se están viendo muy llenas. Me preocupa que por el espacio muy justo, puedan generar hongos, tendré que colocar tutores para separar un poco las ramas y mejorar la ventilación poniendo 1 o 2 ventiladores extra, quizás darle más potencia al extractor también. A parte de eso van súper bien 😁

Day 66 : Continue the juices on NL because her trichomes are 50-50 milky cloudy. She is flowering very well and is like breeders photo. Each bud is like sprouting. She creates seed pockets and these pockets explode with pistils. Its amazing. Breeder suggests to leave her flower for 45-50 days. Until now she flower for 38 days , so yeh 12 remains for sure. I added Calcium because she needs it. Edit Day 70 : I watered her with juices because she stills produces new trichomes. She also started to purple her buds. Her colas are so beautiful. We don't see buds like this every day.

Hey Growmies. 😎This is a back post...sorry took me so long. Nov 8th (sunday) She looks nutrient deprived. Little did I know the VPN (low) was so far off after changing my pre-filter that the negative pressure wasn't allowing her to want to pull up nutrients. Has been a problem longer than I realized. I had no idea that my fan was too strong for my tent. Can kill a plant. Live and learn. So, now comes the story of nutrient toxicity because I DX wrong and gave some amendments and nutrients that she didn't need. So sad. . …. Soil PH is at 6.7 Watered about 3/4 gallon almost 1 gallon Growers recharge With soluble kelp Humic acid (20ml per gal dilution) NOV 9th RH is 52 and temp 72.5deg (RH is dropping due to increased airflow) She does not appear to be stressed this morning. Growth is still very slow but the new leaves appear to be healthy with no Brown tips. There's still New Growth appearing on the old nodes where fan leaves have been removed due to burning lower down on the stems. I'm hoping there's not much more lateral growth and more of a filling out so that I can flower.(room for the stretch) I hope the lower humidity is conducive to her growth and not going to cause Mite infestation due to stress and defenses down. On that note the tanglefoot needs to be reapplied. On about a 10-minute inspection I see no visible signs canoe leaves or might damage. The wettable sulfur seems to be stove in them off. I'm also doing my best to boost the immune system of the plant. I've been meaning to do a compost tea in order to infuse the soil with more microorganisms including both bacterial and fungi.  Still learning about “living soil” and probably making tons of mistakes but am bumbling through. NOV 10th Defoliation NOV 11th On this day she was still looking so deprived of nutrients. SHE WAS. Only not for reason of them not being in the soil. Environment was off and she was just protecting herself by not taking in the necessary food. I was of the midset to save her with soothing things which are good for “plant stress” and some nutrients. WRONG I was again. This is what I gave her that day. (A great combo but not what she needed) Soil PH 6 Growers recharge coconut water (30ml per half-gallon)  aloe juice (1/8 cup in half a gallon)  With soluble kelp  Humic acid (20ml per gal dilution)   NOV 12th IPM: Foliar spray right after lights out: micronized sulfur- 1/5 tbsp per 1/2 gallon ,Aloe Vera 2 tbsp, yucca extract NOV 13th removed some dead leaves Soil PH 6.5 pot was medium /heavy- leaving it so I can put compost tea on tomorrow evening.  Defoliated any dead growth and any tiny branches that didn't have a lot of nodes on them.  Changed the timer for the FAN to 15on and 15 off. I had upped the heat in the house to 72 deg instead of 71 and things are VERY DRY! Too dry for the temp. The VPD just way off here. Explains some of the dryness I am feeling on the leaf surfaces, slow growth etc. This climate issue has to be checked. Also, added back in a second humidifier! Brewing compost tea........
