Tag 116: Ab heute gieße ich nur noch unbedüngt. In 2 Wochen ist schon ernte. Die Blätter sehen schon ziemlich mitgenommen aus, das liegt denke ich zum einen an den hohen Sativa Anteil und an meiner zu starken entlaubung 😱 Aber die Blüten sehen super harzig aus.

Classic me, jumped the gun again on the nutes and went a bit too heavy on the PK for this stage. Normally, she would’ve handled it like a pro, but the weather threw me a curveball. Temps in the tent dipped to 22°C during the day, and she straight-up went on a hunger strike. I had to crank up the heat in the room to lock the tent temps at a steady 25-26°C. As soon as it warmed up, she perked right back up and crushed her 730ppm ration without a hitch. It’s becoming clear that even though she grows bushy like an Indica, she craves the heat like a true Sativa. Definitely never a dull moment here. Day 57. Nutes increased for more growth hopefully. Day 58 notice alot what looks like thc from leaves and hairs. Day 59 to 63 see more orange hairs and trychomes. See videos Average 200ml water everyday.

Day 52-64 (Day 54) I’m going to thoroughly inspect each plant and remove bananas if found. So far it’s only been the one on #7 but I don’t want to take a chance. I’m also going to give a watering with some runoff. (Day 55) Can’t find anymore bananas but that one. I will probably find a few bag seeds but who knows. It’s way too late for pollen to really have effect anyway. These 5 plants finish nice and early compared to my other tent flipped on the same day. I would never take this strain 65+ days like last time. I would do 56-60 days next time I flower this strain (Day 58) Holy shit this tent is fading like crazy now. They are starting to show some beautiful autumn colors. #1 #5 and #7 are definitely done. #3 and #6 could use a little more time so I’ve decided to take them down on the 24th. I haven’t seen anymore bananas and the one that popped out on #7 has shriveled up and receded. (Day 63) I’m seeing what look like seed pods starting to form in some of the main colas on my picture perfect pheno. #7 is showing 3 or 4 little bananas too. All of the top buds are definitely done so I’m going to harvest as soon as the lights come on tomorrow. I’m going to give one last watering right now and then harvest. I’ve noticed that harvesting a watered plant will extend the dry time by a few days and that’s exactly what I’m looking for. A nice slow dry. Plants are being full plant hung + dry trimmed and tent is being kept at 60-65 degrees and 60-65% RH. Cutting everything down was a pain in the ass. I had to individually cut each square the scrog net so it wouldn’t contract and squish all the buds. I chopped down my other tent as well so I have no other plants in flower right now.

Hi Growmies, I feel I had a root issue, may have even been root rod. So as I saw a few of the very deeply submerged roots turning brownish and decay, I decided to generously cut away the affected areas and cleaned everything with hydrogen peroxide as good as I could and then properly rinsed the whole system. It seems, however, like she has started a whole new set of roots that started to submerge after I started feeding the orca from plant success (can be seen in the video below). Can highly recommend this product! She has also not show any signs of stress due the suspected root issues. Other than that she is a super pretty indica lady :) almost crazy how symmetrical she is. I have trained all main colas horizontally until the canopy had evenly opened up. Now I will let her grow towards the scrog and depending on her stretch, I will flip her at some point towards the middle or end of next week. There is a real orange scent in the tent, a blend of fresh oranges and skunk scents. The buds take on size, the resin production is amazing and creates beautiful sparkling crystals on them. There are still 2/3 weeks to go, but these are the most exciting ones. In this week I added cal-mag to fertilizers, it is a preventive measure because I increased the amount of PK 13-14, so cal-mag supplementation will not harm the plant at this stage of flowering. Update: Day 87 I lowered the height of the lamp to 17 cm, I just need to put on my helmet, fasten seat belts and hold tightly to my chair :P Update: Day 88 I had to use wire-mode because the side branches were starting to bend more and more under their weight. Temps have been good and RH has been steady between 60-65%. I have good airflow all around and don’t worry too much about it the higher RH at this point in the grow. Transplanted the ladies from their starter pots to their 2 gallon pots. They did not seem to have any transplant shock. A few more weeks and we will go to their 4 gallon final pots.

Growing Fast! Smells like fresh Fig newtons - loads of frost covering everything. Buds are Significantly Thicker than Barney’s Mimosa EVO, both were started from seed on the same day. My Whole backyard smells like Peyote Cookies The garden smells Amazing!!!!! Happy Growing

Das erste Orkantief der Saison hat die Damen getestet... Der Herbst ist da. Die Pflanzen Einzeltopf sind einige Male umgefallen, eine AK hatte nen astbruch und wurde verarztet. Der Ast ist nicht komplett ab gewesen, von daher dürfte sie sich erholen. Das Blütenwachstum von Larry ist beeindruckend. In Woche 5 schon dicke und schwer. Die Äste wabern schon schön im Wind.. Lemon kush ist auch in der 5. Woche, Banana in der 4. Sieht auch immer besser aus.. Töpfe wurden beschwert, damit die stehen bleiben. Es wird langsam spannend, die Temperaturen sollen etwas kühler werden. Bisher kein Schimmel 🤞. Es läuft gut 👍 bis nächste Woche ✌️

All is said in the video. The recommended flowering time was 60-66 days and I had to chop on 58. I wish it went to 66 but I couldn't control the environment and air flow so mold developed on a bud. Some trichomes are still clear but most of them are cloudy and some even amber. The harvest was impressive considering all the mistakes I made. Big and dense colas, I'm expecting ≈ 100g per plants. They are now drying and waiting to be delicately unseeded.

Not stretching as much and the buds are starting to bulk up all the bud sights have a nice purple fade. She’s a short plant but looks like she will be productive in the end. Day 47 had to remove some of the big fan leaves that were blocking light on some of the bud sites below them. She's really starting to put on some weight.

Constant LST on these girls. They are so leggy I'm worried that if I let up the canopies will get out of control. I feel like i'm doing a good job with it thought. The occasional super cropping is needed and I leaf tuck and even take leaves almost everyday. Doesn't seem to slow em' down. Lights are at about 75% now. Weather has calmed down so temperature in the tent is consistently below 80F. Happened just in time for mid-flower. Right before the weather changed I build an exhaust to vent everything outside so controlling the atmosphere is a lot easier and I think it shows. Switched to bloom nutes towards the end of this week. Miracle Berry Remix IMMEDIATELY perked up and stopping being droopy all the time. CDLC woke up and I'm really happy with her now. Phosphorous is really important once pre-flower begins. Getting impatient....gonna pop some Double Grapes for the Solo Cup competition. Lowering my PH to 5.5 - 5.7 to accomodate for any salt build up in the coir since they drink water so quickly. Their response was very good. CDLC loved the drop in PH the most I believe. I cut my veg nutrients (nitrogen) to half because they aren't in full flower but i'm giving them full doses of the Maxibloom and additives. I've learned that most chlorosis I am experiencing is a nutrient deficiency. PH and increasing PPM steadily is a MUST to be successful I believe. Potassium is what generally causes the "nutrient burn". You'll catch nitrogen toxicity before any chlorosis and phosphorous is really difficult to give your plant too much of. Especially in flower. I'm gettin' the hang of this.... If anyone could answer me this....Why would you use a feeding schedule when your plant is going to require different nutrients than any other plants? There are too many variable to use a feeding schedule correct? Really not much to see this week besides the plants bulking up. They are gorgeous...except for the CDLC...she's got some work to do. Day 49 - Watered with some whacked out PH water today...didn't catch it until it was too late. Mango Smile was dropping by the end of watering...hopefully I didn't stall anyone out.
