Hello Gromie's, all is well with these girls, continue to fill out & mature. Unfortunately I haven't had any Green planet Massive Bloom to give them this grow as I think it would have made a big difference! 5 days1 into week 5 & showing cloudy trichomes & quite a lot of amber as well, calyxs starting to swell & close up, pistills mostly orange. Think they will definitely finish up quicker than last grow, another week or so I think.👍

I've been putting this grow diary off for too long. I'm somewhat new to growing, so it would help to have some of you share your thoughts as we progress through the next few days/weeks. I've got a few strains going in my grow space. A mix of a couple autos and photos. This diary is all about the Auto Blow Dream by Victory Seeds. I'm using a 3 gallon fabric pot, fox farms trio and this plant has a 1000w (185w draw) BestVA FS LED dedicated to it. Soil is a simple mix of peat moss and perlite, with some fishmeal and bonemeal added.

Not much to say this time as I haven't been keeping track really, it was a pleasure to grow but I did yield less than last time, how much less I'll know when it's dry of course. My harvest is a lazy one, this time I won't be trimming everything at least not wet as I'm more interested in Rosin and I couldn't care less how the buds look like plus it's not a contest diary so there is that as well. I have been using the same nutrient schedule as I have been using for 🍌💜✊🏻 plus a couple of ml of tri Part Bloom by aqua Terra

Gave them a corrective flush tonight to drop salts from 1200ppm to 700ppm then fed 5L to each of 620ppm. End result salts have been flushed out to push the final 2 weeks of stacking and finishing. Broke 3 more buds off moving them around for which I’m cranky about but the mrs gets a bit more of an early “test” first bud I broke off went from 10.3g to 2.6g smokes smooth with almost no cough and hits fairly well. Trichomes are roughly 80% milky on the taller one with some ambers appearing on the shorter one.

My baby started week 2 (day 12) I ve added 4 ml each MGB and immediately measured PPM and read 300. I got one litre from the res, diluted the nute and poured it back and mixed well for each type of nute. Lux reads as 8000. • 16 Aug - She starts her 14th day with additional 4 mL MGB (total of 16.5 mL MGB for 16 liters. Immediate PPM reads as 360, pH reads 5.9 Lux reads as 8000. • 17 Aug - She starts her 15th day with another additional 4 mL MGB (total of 20.5 mL MGB for 16 liters) Immediate PPM reads as 430, pH reads 6.1 Lux reads as 10000. And I raised VJ concentration from 0.25 mL/L to 0.50 mL/L • 18 Aug - I lowered the lights until Lux meter reads 17000

Well my lovely ladies grew wonderfully it was my first grow with LED. Definitely a little learning curve still. I ended up with about 700 g out of eight plants not too bad for the size girl over my head. The smoke is amazing smooth with a henna citrus then knock you on your butt I did harvest plants at different time so I do have different outcomes some is a little more of the knock you down while others are a little more energetic. Great girl have lots to learn will continue to post in here love you guys.

11/3 - Today is technically the first day of Week 5 and also the first day I could see a visible drop in her water level since her last check-in (~12 hours apart). As a result, her ppms shot up to around 800. I diluted the solution with straight tap (7.5pH, 170ppm) since her pH was registering around 5.3. This brought her up to 5.6pH and 670ppm (1.0ec + tap, 500ppm of nutrients). I would have liked to adjust her pH more, but the water level ended up at the bottom of the basket. I'll adjust further as necessary. The other day while attempting to LST her top branches, they ended up snapping off, so I just topped her down one node and broadened her other LST to make her as squat as possible. Once I am able to find a suitable individual ScrOG screen, I will put it on her. 11/4 - I wasn't even planning on doing an update today, but I want to note a few changes. The first of which is a visible difference between her foliage density in a span of 36 hours. Her root bundle is over a foot long and getting more wound up every day. I removed her LST ties in order to take advantage of the ScrOG screen apparatus (see notes below). After lights came back on, she measured 645ppm and had another notable drop in water level. Currently, I am preparing another nutrient solution that closely matches what she is feeding on now. I will be upgrading her to a 5 gallon bucket. I will be aiming for 1ec of nutrients/additives (500ppm + Tap on my meter, Hanna Primo .5 conversion). Tap measured 180ppm, so target ppm would be 680. Later that same day... So I finished upgrading her to a 5 gallon bucket before I actually got done writing the update. Added one photo showing new 5 gallon setup. Solo ScrOG test mk1 - In an attempt to do a ScrOG, but maintain control over each bucket, while still having relatively easy access to each reservoir, I decided to throw together this little contraption. I removed the lowest complete segment of a tomato cage, leaving a short "tail" beyond the lower ring to act as a peg to insert into corresponding holes in the lid. The lower ring is 10" in diameter and the upper is approximately 12" in diameter. Each ring is 11" apart. I would prefer to have a shorter segment, but I haven't worked out exactly how to do this yet. I would prefer to set the screen height at around 6" above the bucket instead of 11". This will have to suffice for the time being while I let my latent conscious work out a solution or one is provided by the community. Above each cage will sit a coated wire fence with grids measuring ~2"x3", as shown in the above picture. 11/5 - Uploaded short video showing Solo ScrOG Apparatus in place. Hi guys, so I chopped the little gelatocake 3 days ago and its hanging in 55% humidity and 15°f, I have taken a sample bud, you no how it is lol. Sherbert mimosa are struggling along and going purple 💜 bit cold here lately, starting to fatten up a bit now, the baby photos are growing fast but need repoting. Happy growing guys 💜💚💪

This week was spent doing some needed cleaning and minor defoliation and start aiming towards flowering in the next week or so. I dumped all pots and wiped out as well as the resivoir and added fresh water and nutes to all the plants. While plants were out of tent I did some very minor defoliating as well. I picked up a few goodies this week. I noticed a fruit fly or two and decided to pick up an insect trap off amazon (let’s see how it works 🤞🏽). I also picked up a chargeable watering wand that is worth 3x its price for how easy it makes it to water/feed my plants. I just drop in in my 5 gallon bucket after nutes and pHing water and get to work without moving a single pot. Wish I got this sooner!

Pretty easy so far haven't feed any nutrients just plain water and great white mycorrhizae mixed with molasses. Gonna be moving them by next week to my tent and start training and topping them by the fifth node so soon 😁.

I got at least 2 vids this time , in the next week a lil bit more , i use the whole hesi nutrient pack btw and are really impressed what LED and a noob scrog grow results to , don´t get me wrong but its a huge difference to hps and some untopped plants under it ;) , happy about all feedback btw. The small growing Orange Lemon in mid seems to have a lot more haze DNA . Left Gran Jefa, right back Fullgas , right Front and mid Lemon Orange.

1/18: Got my new 10t Dabpress...bout to get sticky up in here... Built another DIY Co2 maker and put it in the bottom of the tiny tent with the other Co2 makers...that air is exhausted into the closet, so any CO2 not utilized in the tent has another chance at being used before being exhausted from the building. Seems like the new UVB bulb is intense enough to stress the plants.👍 1/19: Fed today. Added humic acid. ***** Week 12 growth - February 20 to 26, 2021 - Week 3 Flower ***** These girls have been happy all week and CL2 has looked happiest still. CL1 pheno came out of the gate stronger and taller from the beginning but I have been looking for a little more out of her so while I was giving GSC x 707Headband some fulvic acid in her feed I gave some to CL1 also. She has reacted well to it, or it certainly hasn’t brought about anything negative. Used Gold Storm at 5ml/L👍 CL2 is just freaking gorgeous and may be a keeper, in early growth anyways😃 Love her size, node spacing, leaf to calix ratio, thick branching, early trichome production......all on point so far🔥When I took a leaf the other day the underside vein appeared to be slightly starting a color change......should be some purple in there somewhere with that genealogy😍 Light is at 20” and pulling 480 watts at the end of the week. Stated off with 400 watts at the start of the week but keep pushing it up this week. I don’t want to break 1,000 to 1,100 PAR by very much as I am not supplementing with true CO2. I have an Exhale bag to raise it a couple hundred ppm. Feel the need to keep the intensity high for penetration lower in the canopy. Will lower the amount of time in daylight if stress gets too high. Push to 11/13???? Nutrients are following IPP HOG 3 Part pretty closely. Just playing with macro nutrient ratios but otherwise supplements are at full week dosages following week 3. Have been seeing great resin production last runs so staying with Rezin as part of their feed schedule in flower. Terpinator......I think I see a lot of sulfer benefit here so it stays in the grows as well. Recharge seems to be working out well but we did the change mid grow from Microbial Mass. Since in coco have to feed the microbes so they reproduce and really dig Nature’s Candy with Remos additives in there👍 To help keep the root zone clean we add Enzymes😃 I have been debating a lot lately about the addition of CalMag to these nutrient lines and it’s necessity but since in coco I keep adding some......noticed a couple of spots on MM2 so have added it back in a bit more this week. Feb 20/21 - Day 15 - Full feed today.....it’s been five days. - tap water with Silica @ 1.5ml, IPP line at full strength. - 1400ppm and 6.1pH - CL2 given 4L with good runoff. - CL1 was given some fulvic acid in Gold Storm. Help with giving her a chance to stretch a little more. Little more node spacing.....bushier girl. - 5ml/L added to feed for 1490ppm and 6.1pH. She was given 4L with good runoff. Feb 21/21 - Day16 - Dry out day Feb 22/21 - Day 17 - watering with supplements and light feed today. We are in mid flower now.....need to keep the macro nutrients up. - Epsom salts @ 1 Tbsp in 20L. Purple on stems is getting prominent......could be cold temps but also giving magnesium. - Terpinator @ 3ml, Rezin @ 1.5ml, Nature’s Candy @ 1ml, grow @ 1ml, micro @ 2ml, bloom @ 2.5ml, Recharge @ 1 Tbsp in 20L. - 1400ppm and 6.0pH. - 4L Feb 23/21 - Day 18 - keeping up the silica this watering - silica @ 1ml, CalMag @ 1ml, Ultimate B+ @ 1ml - 600ppm and 6.0pH - 3L Little to no runoff this watering. Feb 24/21 - Day 19 - full feed again today.....girls are big and growing hard......keep it going💪 - IPP line as listed for full line. - Terpinator @ 3ml, Rezin @ 1.5ml - 1425ppm and 6.0pH - they are taking the high ppm feeding well. Feb 25/21 - Day 20 - Had some feed water left from yesterday. Added plain tap water to get 20L. - 810ppm and 6.1pH - 1.5L......don’t want to over saturate the medium. Feb 26/21 - Day 21 - Nothing today. - Will feed early tomorrow as it’s Saturday. - Let the root zone get some oxygen is my thought and water to nice runoff first thing in morning. Week 3 behind us and going into 4.....middle of flower and girls are feeding hard. Pushing the lights hard now as well so need to keep the ppm up👍 Little more variety in these two phenos but certainly not negative differences. In the end I think CL1 might have bigger colas than CL2 because she is getting some wide/thick bud tops. I do like the appearance of 2 better though because I suspect trim is going to be better as well😎 Again though......I am make sure nothing happens to the clone of CL2 and Mandarin Mimosa 1 right now💪👊 Good week ETS.....let the swelling begin🌟

A really explosive week of growth. I pushed PPFD up to 310umols. Dimmers are at 60% which is drawing 224w plus 18w of DRRB. I have alos started Emerson effect ... Another The Emerson effect is triggered by the simultaneous exposure of plants to light in the deep red and far-red spectra Deep Red 660 nm /Far-Red 700 nm . A bit of boring science that explains why you need both far red and deep red in order to trigger Emerson. The effect occurs because photosynthesis is driven by two distinct pigment systems working in series:Photosystem II (PSII): Absorbs energy most efficiently at shorter wavelengths (higher frequencies), like 680 nm (441 THz). Photosystem I (PSI): Absorbs energy most efficiently at longer wavelengths (lower frequencies), specifically 700 nm (428 THz). When you provide only the higher frequency (deep red), PSI becomes a bottleneck. When you provide only the lower frequency (far-red), PSII is not sufficiently excited to provide electrons. Providing both frequencies simultaneously allows both systems to work at peak efficiency, resulting in a rate of photosynthesis that is greater than the sum of the two lights used individually. To understand the Emerson Effect, think of photosynthesis not as a single engine, but as a two-stage assembly line. What is the Emerson Effect? Discovered by Robert Emerson in 1957, this phenomenon shows that plants perform photosynthesis much more efficiently when they are hit by two specific types of light at the same time: Deep Red (660 nm) and Far-Red (700+ nm). If you give a plant only Far-Red light, photosynthesis is very slow. If you give it only Deep Red, it's better but still limited. However, when you give it both at once, the total rate of photosynthesis is significantly higher than if you just added the two results together (1+1=3). What is Happening? (The "Assembly Line") Inside the plant's chloroplasts, there are two "workstations" called Photosystem II (PSII) and Photosystem I (PSI). They work in series, meaning the first one must pass "parts" to the second one. PSII (The First Station): This station is tuned to catch Deep Red light (660 nm). It harvests electrons from water. PSI (The Second Station): This station is tuned to catch Far-Red light (700 nm). It takes the electrons from the first station and uses them to create energy (ATP and NADPH). The Problem: If you only provide Deep Red light, the first station works fast, but the second station can't keep up because it isn't being "powered" efficiently by that specific frequency. This creates a traffic jam of electrons. The Solution: By adding Far-Red light, you power up the second station. It now "pulls" the electrons from the first station much faster, clearing the traffic jam and making the whole assembly line run at full speed. The Benefits for The Grow.. Because i am using the Biotabs water-only method, my plants already have a steady supply of organic nutrients. Implementing the Emerson Effect offers several distinct advantages: Increased Biomass: Because the "engine" is running faster, the plant produces more sugars and carbohydrates, leading to heavier fruits or flowers. Faster Finishing: Plants often reach maturity sooner because they have more surplus energy to complete their life cycle. Better Light Penetration: Far-Red light is very good at passing through the upper leaves. This "wakes up" the lower parts of the plant that would otherwise be shaded, allowing the whole plant to contribute to growth. Enhanced Secondary Metabolites: In many crops, this synergistic light can stimulate the production of terpenes and antioxidants, improving the "quality" (smell, taste, and potency) of the final harvest. The "Sunrise/Sunset" Trick I am using 4x Invisible sun Far red/Deep red bars,they use high-quality Samsung LH351H (660nm Deep Red) and specific Far-Red (730nm) diodes for 10–15 minutes at the start or end of the light cycle. This mimics the natural shift in light at sunrise and sunset, "waking up" the photosystems or signaling the plant to go into "sleep mode" faster, which can further optimize the flowering cycle. Enviromentally i am chasing a VPD of about 1,1kpa. My room seem to sit nicely at lights on at 24c with no real drama and a little help from a 220W greenhouse bar radiator. Its using abot 4kw/h a day atm because my room is attached to the side of my house and its been -5c.. I have had to add some humidity as its also very dry atm. Im aiming for RH of 65% with my 24c but it is more around the 62s.. VPD is crucial and is the focus for this grow for me. The autopots and Biotabs make it so easy ican really just focus on perfect enviroment. A VPD of 1.0–1.2 kPa provides enough "atmospheric pull" to move calcium and magnesium up from the roots, which is critical for the rapid cell division happening now.. Plants will be flipped on Saturday which is their week 5 as im a bit behind.. As this happens i will push PPFD upto 4-500umols. by week 2 of flower. Thats the plan anyway..
