Flowering day 10 and the stretch starts to show. Defenitely had some CalMag issues but increasing the dose helped. Also read that the strain is quite CalMag hungry in general. STIXX50 is now at 80%.

08/03/21: Week 8!!! Her color is finally starting fade (about time lol) we're hoping she flushes fast from here.. we poked around and seeds don't seem to be as big an issue as once thought..her buds have swelled noticeably in the last 3 days, trichs are mostly cloudy..she's getting close 💪🐱💡🌱 08/05/21: We purchased another new 315watt CMH to replace the 630watt that has been blowing bulbs (we were only running1 bulb in it lately)..the plants seem to do better for us with x2 315 lights spread out than 2 bulbs under the same hood..I'm really liking the wider spacing the clones have, they just finished their flower stretch under 315watts and the nodes are about 2-3 inches apart and not stacked tight like they usually were..we may buy another one of these lights just to have on hand...feel free to leave a comment or any suggestions that might help us improve, thank you for reading and happy growing everyone ❤️💡🌱🐈

***Sponsored Grow*** = Medic || https://medicgrow.com || Grow = ***Sponsored Grow*** This week has been interesting, I was getting some weird runoff numbers in terms of EC/PPM and PH, so I decided to try and bring the PH up with a flush of high PH water into the medium. I did not have any PH up on hand so I used borax, PH of 9-10 plus it will help kill off any microbes in the soil that I believe is causing the PH swings. After doing this and getting the PH I wanted in the solution I released that the amount of B in the solution was to high and would cause more issues down the road, It was late in the day so I left the next flush to fix the excess B till tomorrow morning. Morning came and when I processed to flush I added in a bit of peroxide to the water and a dash of dish soap to break the waters surface tension so it flows through the pots more easily. This was going fine till it started to not drain out at all. I think it was foaming up in the medium and preventing a normal flow, plus on two of the pots I lost my perlite that sits on the top of the medium. I had to massage the pots "like when you transplant" to make then start draining again and then purchased a Yucca extract to help it flow through. Everything is back to normal. The pots are really root bound and should be transplanted but its mid flower and that's not going to be happening. I also don't know if I'd even have the space for it. I added in a b1 vitamin as well on recommendation of grow shop as apparently their other lineup I purchased did not have any. No idea if its working well only first week in the feeding. The Cytokelp is fun, but the one hormone in it is similar to a PGR but its not a real PGR. I am skeptical of it and not using it as foliar, just root watering. I also added in a bit of CaMg supplement that gave the plants a boost in N and Ca. The mg of this product was lesser then others I have seen about a 5:1 ratio of Ca to Mg. after the big flushes the runoff was hitting 120ppm so I gave it a good feed at 1.8EC Time will tell If i fucked it up royally by doing all this, this Kannabia plant is still doing ok, its been having some issues with N and Ca, can see on the leaves some prominent signs it needs more Ca, so hopefully the addition helped this week of CaMg. Some of my other plants are also discoloured but not to the same extent as this one. All the plants are still stretching but it seems slow to me. Maybe it will continue going but it only put on about 4cm in the last week and a half. Feels slow. I may see more stretching in the next week upcoming and it just had a ruff start. Lights still running at 100% with V1 spectrum, everything seems to be working just fine, no light burn. Boy Moby Dick is one tough girl she can and has taken a beating ...Between cold weather ,rain , humidity and just about everything it could get she pushed on ... In my growing experience I always had bigger harvests with mostly indica hybrids than with sativa ones and I think this is mostly common, I was much curious about this strain in the auto flowering version, since the DNA genetics photoperiod seeds are still not re-assorted, Fastbuds did a good job, the smoking is fruity and woody with strong high, even if I prefer the taste and the indica high of their other Strawberry, the Pie, thanks Fastbuds and thanks to all who growers who looked at the growing 🙏🏻💚 it’s toking time now 🔥

Week 6 Veg Report – Runtz We Meet Again! Another week, another step forward in our Eternity Grow Cup 2025 journey, and oh boy, do we have a lot to unpack! Cal-Mag Deficiency Adjustment – Pheno #5’s Special Needs This week started with a close inspection of our phenos, and we noticed that Pheno #5 was showing early signs of a calcium/magnesium deficiency. Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Well-structured branches allow better airflow, light penetration, and more even growth—key for a successful high-yield harvest. ⚖️ Topping vs. Leaf Bending – The Training Choice Instead of topping, I’ve decided to go with leaf bending for now. This method allows for gentle manipulation of the plant’s growth without causing major stress. Once we introduce the SCROG (Screen of Green) net, this training will help maximize the canopy spread.
