Tag 91: Die Trichome der Cosmos F1 Automatic von Royal Queen Seeds sind schon zum großen Teil trübe. Die drei Hauptcoli sind traumhaft gefärbt. Die Blüten sind sehr dick, fest und glitzern voller Trichome. Habt einen schönen Tag. 😀

2-22 (day 57 flower) Trichome visual assessment with 30x loupe 2% clear, 95% cloudy, 3% amber Continuing to see nanners on one of the plants, likely due to light stress from last week. Overall they are looking great and finishing nicely. The back left plant is a bit behind in maturity with the least amount of amber trics, but wouldn't be surprised to see it catch up in short order. Planning on a harvest around day 59/60 of flower. 2-23 (day 58 flower) Trichome visual assessment with 30x loupe 96% cloudy, 4% amber Reservoir PPM 210, pH 5.9. Going to pull the lights tonight and give it 24 hours of darkness before harvest on 2/24. Three plants are absolutely ready for harvest, back left plant could realistically use another few days to finish. Unfortunately due to the nanners and a little bit of fox tailing on two other plants, I am deciding to harvest a bit earlier. I need to cut down the entire canopy at once due to using the tent that they are currently growing in as the drying tent.

QUESTION: I've been using a 200W LED which is supposed to replace a 400W HPS. She draws actual 200W. Should I now put the wattage used to 200W or 400W ? ? ? ? ? ------------------------ What started as as a 'just for fun' - project turned out to be my longest going grow ever. I cut her down yesterday when it was still 2017. Today it's 2018! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! For the ones wondering why it took 27 weeks: I started under a very small 50W bulb as it was only a just fun project so she vegged for ages. She would have been way faster if I grew her under normal conditions ;) The wet weight is 384 with the branches still on like in the hanging pictures. I only cut the bigger fan leaves off. Haven't smoked it yet so I just put it to 50/50 sat/ind -> smoke report to be updated... :) _________ After trimming, cutting and drying I got 54 grams on the scale. Well, I'm a bit dissapointed considering the outcome in grams but I think the quality is quite ok this time. Smoke report to follow soon... ;)

Hello fellow growers and user of the lovely lady Mary Jane. It was last week harvest time. I was busy with an experiment with the light schedule. I went from 18 hours of light to 12 hours by turning the clock back and make the light time shorter. And after a week on 12/12 I put them in the dark for two day’s. the though behind this is that the ladies will react by making more trichonomen and compacter bud’s . after I harvest the cola’s I cut them and lay them to dry. After 9 day’s they were ready. I weight the bud’s and harvest 167 grams. That’s about a halve gram per watt. I thought that it would be more, and because I didn’t have a control plant it’s a guess if the experiment works or not. I do not think it harms the ladies but there also no great yield. The next time I do have auto flowers I’ll try to doe it again but then with a controlled lady in a different tent. I like the White Widow Autoflower. It’s an easy plant and can handle some stress. I growth them under the Budmaster II UK HPS 9 and it’s a very good lamp for growing and flowering. As nutrition I used Mills Nutrition’s and I have to say it’s easy to use and to prepare. I use lemon juise to get the PH level down but do not use it when you have a feeding system it cloud clog up your system. Have some Hurkle regular seeds i got my hands on. I germinated them and they sprouted. Pictures are a real testament to genetics, and pheno types. all planted same day other the same circumstance and rotation in hot spots. all diff sizes and leaves are a different health. This grow is an experiment the weakest one will stay in the tent and go 12/12 after its first set of true leaves to see quality. the 2 bigger ones will be for an outdoor balcony grow on the lake. Direct sunlight from 6am-2pm. Right now they are in the tent for another week until the temperature is a little more consistent outside. then i will transplant.

POTGxBB is at 19” tall PIxBB is at 20” tall As of about middle week. Little A-Train 🚂 and Alien Rock Candy 👽 are bustin out nicely for their size.

This week has been alot better with managing the temps so that's was a good start, I have definitely seen some size on the buds since last week 😁 so I stripped alot of the fan leaves off now since the girls are in flush so should see even more size fro now until harvest, Happy Times Happy Growing 😁 🌿 STAY SAFE 😁
