Day 71 from seed the plant seems to be growing beautifully and now they are starting to develop beautiful flowers and they are entirely covered with white snow trichomes it is a very strong and powerful plant to grow what a beauty . thank you for reading I will continue to update have a happy grow.

02/11/2021 Calling it day #1 of veg, she will stay under 1000w MH at least through veg cycle. Going to transplant when roots coming out of bottom of her pot until then watering very little each day(50ml.) and checking pot weight. Going to get some myco for transplanting to reduce stress during transplant. Ps. Week 7 Veg - January 16/21 to 22/21 ***** Week 7 will be their last week being able to take them out of the tent😟 SCROG netting going in on the weekend ahead. Not really a lot to report this week as the girls are doing well and I am just wanting their side branches to grow longer to help filling in the canopy anyway. Performed more LST this week and bending over the branches daily. Didn’t do any HST this week, will once the net is in and I have a better visual of how the branches need to bend. They have come a long ways over the last 2 weeks when you look back at pictures. They have filled out with more side branching and other than battling a little purple striping on the main stems they seem pretty happy. Leaf colour is good and should be in good shape for the flip soon. Will go through all of week 8 before flipping so hopefully week 9 will be transition week and week 10 the start of flower.......have to get through next week first though😀👍 Switching over to tap water again. I have been struggling with calcium and magnesium deficiencies on all grows for the last year. I can’t seem to get the right amount added back to the RO water I use in all feedings. So running with straight water again now. Ppm coming out is 325 so I will work with that. Going to explore my own RO system in the house rather than bottled water, a system that adds back calcium, magnesium, and iron. It’s been flowing okay for the first week and will continue on for now. Using RO water I have been feeding full strength on the nutrients and have been working on backing them down a bit to compensate for the starting point of 325 now. They have continued to be fed once a week roughly and supplemented with calmag and microbes. Little more detail....... Jan 16/21, Day 43 Veg - 3L each of full line at full strength in RO water - 1150ppm and 5.8pH given to the girls - didn’t add any other nutes other than IPP line. Jan 17/21, Day 44 Veg - dry out day - pulled down all the girls again tonight to train them outwards. - Jan 18/21, Day 45 Veg - 3L for each girl today with tap water and CalMag @ 1ml, Microbes @ 2ml, Nature’s Candy @ 1.5ml - 700ppm and 5.7pH is what that works out to. - have to use a considerable amount of pH down to adjust the tap water, over 6ml in 16L Jan 19/21, Day 46 Veg - measured the girls today, GSCHB Is 12” tall. They were topped already😀 - dry out day for the girls. - pulled two large fan leaves from her. They were just getting the way too much of lower branches light. Jan 20/21, Day 47 Veg - 2.5L each with plain tap water - 295ppm and 5.8pH. - all the girls are looking big and bushy today.......they are ready for flip soon. Jan 21/21, Day 48 Veg - dry out day for the girls. Jan 22/21, Day 49 Veg - pulled all the girls down again......repeating the same LST each day manually rather than tying down for now. - this should be water day but leaving for today as I am going to lolipop the lower branches and a heavier leaf stripping tomorrow. - will feed tomorrow as they will benefit more. Very solid week ETS......the girls are taking off and expect to see lots of leaves popping out over the next couple of weeks😀👍 Work on the side branching to come up higher closer to the tops next week.......continue tap water and give a feed with Epsom Salts new week

22 flowering day - Plantations began to smell very tasty and form mountains of sugar! I water 2.5 liters every day. 220 ppm my tap water to which I add PK atami 13 14 + Candy boom + big bud + rhino skin + cal mag up to 750 ppm and canna bio flores add up to 1100 ppm, ph 6.7-6.8 according to the scheme: compote - compote - pure water 24 flowering day - Banana OG began to smell distinctly like a banana chewing gum! I'm just thrilled ... drooling river! Buds noticeably gain weight, I continue intensive feeding 1100ppm according to the classic scheme compote-compote-water

Last week of veg now , let’s see what she can do . I was munching on a fresh leaf and it tasted exactly like orange candy so keen to smoke that taste

May 15: later start as a replacement for my failure on Durban Poison. Have wanted to fit this one in for a while and should be an easy and reliable grow. Top tip for germination stage is get a heating mat. My house is usually about 18 C but cannabis, tomatoes and pepper all need it warmer to start properly. So, get a heating mat. i usually keep it at about 26 C. Next germination tip is to expose the newly sprouted seed to ethylene gas just before it first reaches light. This is a huge tip for all growers. Seed ‘priming’ using ethylene gas in dark before seedling is exposed to light. https://scitechdaily.com/accidental-discovery-how-a-whiff-of-an-unusual-chemical-transforms-seedlings-into-super-plants/ Seed priming works. I tried it last year on peppers, tomatoes and cannabis. 😎 This is as big a tip as my standard “get a pH meter”. Seed priming takes minimal effort (use a ripe apple or banana) and it certainly seems to pay off big time as shown by my last two seasons. I’ll be doing this every single time now.

I ran into a few problems with this grow as it was my first indoor organics grow but I know where I messed up so I shouldn’t repeat those mistakes. With that being said the quality of the cannabis is still there and I am excited about starting again using DWC next time. I love Humboldt genetics and I will be growing more of their lineup in the future for sure.

Day 33: What an amazing height and bud gain in just 3 days! Lady #1 is 67 cm tall now, her sister a tad smaller. Both still have a great color, and I dared to cur away just the lowest branches and leaves that do not look like they could gain height in time. Really enjoying this strain so far! At the end of their day, they are a bit dropping leaves, so clearly no hunger for more light. The impressive growth speed continued on their buds: Tallest lady at 70 cm now. Their next morning shows growth is still at an impressive 5 cm/day as lady #1 with her leaves erected again stretches now 72, the maximum of my previous growth. Pulled the lights as close as possible to the ceiling and hope they won’t make it much more than 1 m. I activated the Sansi 30 W folded wings LED to give them somewhat of a morning and evening light and to add some more light to their overlapping center branches in the middle of "their" day. Sadly that’s causing some interference to the timelapse videos, but I can’t say they’re perfect if it wouldn’t. Watching the timelapse video of day 34, I have the feeling the additional light rather irritates them. Maybe the interference is not only visible for electronic eyes. I’ll keep it off next day for comparisons. Day 35 shows stretch speed has reduced indeed and they seem to be concentrating on leaf and bud growth instead. 75 cm, so we are currently at "only" 3 cm/day. Watered them with a HPE/Bud growth mix again last night, about 1 l each. Well, forget my words about reduced growth. After they recovered during the night, we are at 77 cm for lady #1. Which measured at 78 with hanging leaves in their day’s evening. I must have missed a day number – day 36 concludes their 5th week. I gave them another 2 l of fertilised water each and will lave them for the weekend again. Video shows that growth concentrates now more on leaf and bud development than on gaining height. So I guess my 160 cm tent will be sufficient. For a moment I was worried, but it looks like stretch is over. Anyway, time to rearrange the camera next week. Leaves are running out of focus.

Growing like a weed. Did some LST, defoliated some yellowing leaves. Looks like nitrogen deficiency. Side dressed with Back to Earth 4-4-4, half the recommended amount and Superthrive. Hasn’t been give any nutrients since transplant. 4 days earlier treated with cal-mag and recharge. Sprayed with some organic neem oil mix a few days prior to that to keep pests away. I’m doing my best to keep everything au naturale.

Heat problems remain... I upgraded the humidifier and installed a air hose from a cooler room...

I made a mistake by defoliating this strain too heavy. I made a diary of a clone From this plant that i also Now started flowering so if u want to see better results go look at it
