One more week here we go, and this girls are ready to Flower, I’ve defoliate them a bit, gave them some foliar feeding and provably tomorrow or so i will put them to sleep for 24 h and wake them up at 12/12. Color on the leafs is back were i like and there for the time is now, the only reason I didn’t do it yet is because i want to take some clones from them just in case something outstanding comes out of this run, better safe than sorry and this way i can save the pheno with i like the most 😇💚 As for the LED department, i believe this VIPRARSPECTRA P2000 is just perfect for this 3x3 closet, PPFD numbers are on point and my girls are loving the spectrum coming out of it. Well I had a few issues with PM this grow again. This showed up in my previous grow and the spores obviously stuck around and decided to effect this grow as well. For my next grow I'll try heat stressing the tent by pacing a heater in the tent and raising the temp to over 32C for an hour or more while closely monitoring it. I believe the seeds sprouted due to the fact that my previous plant hermed on me and I think a few nanners popped in the tent, so there must have been some rogue pollen in there. She grows quite fast and vigorously in Veg so stay active with training if you are performing that on your GoG plant. I fed her slightly light in the last 6 weeks or so in Flower with good response. I would say to keep your EC levels in check if growing with salts in coco. She seemed to react very positively to pinching and bending on the main stalk and really filled out when I did that. Same with topping. Side branching is very good. My particular pheno here had a higher leaf to calyx ratio so trimming was a bit tedious. The high is nice, it's a good hybrid strain. Would def grow again.

The plant was harvested and trimmed, yielding a total of 101 grams. Buds are notably dense and carry a satisfying weight, indicating strong structural development and resin content. Final week of veg. Seems like a lot went on. As you can see, the canopy is virtual all even. The branches that were tied down 3 weeks ago were allowed to let go and reach for the light. In contrast, the taller and much stronger branches now became tied down. This took some work - these branches are thick and sturdy - pulling on them too much I am afraid will detach them from the trunk. That happened to the Gelato. It took a little bit of repositioning the wire garden ties everyday to achieve this. I'm happy to send them into flower like this. Speaking of Gelato. Her soil has been hot from the beginning. She has shown signs of high nitrogen levels and the run off from the pot is never clear. I purposely held off from feeding her nutrients bc of this, until this week. A day after feeding veg nutrients at 50% strength, there was yellow-browning and burning new growth leaf tips. This occurred for about 24 hrs on a few leaves then did not get worse. Next watering cycle will get only cal mag. Of note, the pH of any liquid going into Gelato has been consistently at 6.5. A few notes about the environmental conditions. According to VPD charts, the temperature / relative humidity ratio has not been ideal for vegetation. What would have improved the environment would have been the addition of a humidifier to reach about 60% RH at temps around 65 degrees F. Now, we are on to flower...

Cruising right along. I bent over the stalk and had to take a couple of the massive leaves off and it’s back up to 12”. I love my new system and the easy maintenance makes it even better.

This was the last week of veg. I switched from organic nutrients to synthetic. For the pipes of the autopot. I will therefore also flush them for 2 weeks. In the first week of flowering there will be a dehumidifier in the tent to get around 50% humidity

I made a few adjustments this week. I simply increased the girls' diet a bit with mineral supplements in addition to the organic soil nutrients. I increased the PK and added some NitCal and a little Mg to nourish the soil until the end of the flowering stage. I added some Bokashi to the surface of the soil along with Biostimulant for Flora, rich in amino acids, sugars, molasses, and more. I added a little BTi to ensure there were no gnat eggs left and Trichoderma to prevent any other unwanted soil fungus. They received two nutritious waterings during the week, possibly the last or second-to-last one. We'll see how they react throughout this journey. Despite everything, I'm still very happy with how everything is going.
