Week 5 Veg Report: SCROG Netting, Massive Leafs & Precise Data Mastery! 🌱 Girls Growing Stronger Than Ever! 🌱 This week has been truly epic in the grow room—so much so that it’s time to bring in the SCROG net! With the canopy expanding and the younger ones still working to catch up, the SCROG net will help me achieve that perfect, even canopy. A well-placed SCROG not only ensures better light penetration but also gives the smaller plants a chance to spread out and thrive alongside their bigger sisters. Now, let’s dive deep into the SCROG method. The Screen of Green (SCROG) technique is a grower’s secret weapon for maximizing space, light efficiency, and yields. The concept is simple but powerful—train the plants to grow horizontally along the net, forcing them to expose multiple budding sites instead of just a single cola. This way, the canopy spreads evenly, improving light distribution and air circulation throughout the tent. As the plants grow, I’ll gently weave their branches through the screen, ensuring they fill every square inch of space. The end goal? A sea of buds all basking in equal light! 💪 Huge Leafs Everywhere! 🌿 One thing that’s really catching my eye this week is the size of the leaves—they’re HUGE! Honestly, they’re so big I couldn’t resist a little fun, so I made myself some fashion accessories: leaf earrings and a cap from the Super Sativa Seed Club Green Papaya! 😂 And, of course, I captured the moment. But seriously, large leaves at this stage are a great sign of healthy, robust plants. These “solar panels” are hard at work soaking up all the light, driving photosynthesis, and fueling growth. It’s a clear indication that they’re happy, healthy, and thriving in their environment—big leaves mean lots of energy being produced and stored for future bud growth. Exactly what we want! 💧 Precision Feeding with Aptus Nutrients 💧 This week, I took a deep dive into my Aptus nutrient lineup and shared a video explaining how each product affects the water’s pH and TDS. Using the AMP-3 Precision Meter, I’m getting real-time water readings and keeping everything dialed in perfectly. Let’s break it down: • pH: 5.83 • TDS in solution: 445 ppm • Water temperature: 25.2°C The Aptus products are incredible for balancing nutrients without throwing off the pH or TDS too much. I’m fine-tuning my feedings based on these readings to make sure the girls are getting exactly what they need. The precision I’m able to achieve with the AMP-3 is mind-blowing—I get immediate feedback on pH, temperature, and EC, allowing me to make real-time adjustments and ensure the perfect environment for nutrient uptake. 📊 Environmental Mastery Thanks to TrolMaster 📊 Speaking of control—let’s talk about the TrolMaster system! Between the DSH-2U Humidity Station and all the other sensors, I’ve created the perfect environment for my plants. Here’s where we’re at this week: • Temperature: 26.2°C • RH: 70.6% • CO2 levels: 775 ppm • VPD: 1.0 kPa • PPFD: 423 Thanks to TrolMaster, I can monitor and adjust these metrics in real time, and the best part? I can do it all through the TM+ Pro app, even while I’m lounging in my green papaya leaf hat! 😆 Whether I’m checking the CO2 levels, adjusting the lights, or fine-tuning the humidity, it’s all in my hands with just a tap of my phone. Talk about convenience! 🌱 P.S. – Inline Sensors: Heavy-Duty Precision 🌱 Now, let’s talk about the heavy-duty players in this game—the (PCT-2) Heavy Duty Inline EC/Temp Sensor and the (PPH-2) Heavy Duty Inline pH Sensor. These bad boys are connected directly to the AMP-3 Precision Meter, and they’ve been absolutely crucial in giving me the most accurate readings on my water and nutrient solution. The PCT-2 keeps me informed about the electrical conductivity and temperature of my solution, which is key for monitoring how well my plants are absorbing nutrients. Too high or too low, and we’re asking for trouble, but this sensor ensures I’m always in that perfect range. The PPH-2, on the other hand, is all about maintaining the perfect pH balance. A fluctuating pH can mean nutrient lockout or deficiencies, but thanks to this sensor, I get a constant read on my pH levels, so the plants are always in their sweet spot for optimal nutrient absorption. Day 22 : First day of flowering phase ! I watered her (without nutrient) at Day 21. Day 23 : Give her nutrient today, and I noticed one branch folded 😟 I made it hold with a "prothesis" during the time it repair... Despite this the branch seems to be healthy for the moment ! Day 24 : The first pistils are here ! Can't wait to see the bud flowering 😁 Day 27 : The folded branch hold alone now even if there is a big scar, so I prefer left the "prothesis" for some days... Day 28 : She continue to grow (+10cm ~7 days)

The irrigations with fertilizer are alternating, ay weeks that I irrigate 4 days and others of 3 days, the irrigations with bnzym and prosilicate I realize them to part of the rest of installments, in those days that alternate.

it got eaten by slugs after a heavy rain' now itz DeaD YaY. What did I learnt from all this ? I am an Idiot. I actually thought all those twigs would keep de slugs off.

Day29: New sets of leaves. I'll repot and switch to proper Veg Lights on the weekend. Day30: I'll repot tomorrow. Day31: Repotting done. She had a crazy amount of roots in the seedling pot. MUCH more than I expected. I switched to Veg lights at 90% power. Day32: Settling in new pot Day33 & 34: I had to perform some maintenance on the tent. Lost some hours due to that. Day35: Growth really looking healthy. Although she's not really stretching high, she does look rather happy. I do like them thicc ;) General: I need to put the camera somewhere else so that the growth can be better seen. Right at the end I'll edit out the white flashes. They're caused by the humidifier running and will be really easy to cut out without losing the gist of the grow :)

Noticed the purple hues come out more with the use of ice on top of the soil.

Hello my friends and all those who follow my progress. It is time to update the diary of the mother plant Bubblelicious. This plant is already 4 weeks old. I started to prepare it for cloning, I cut the lower vegetative leaves and washed it with clean water. The plant develops normally, but there is little room for roots. I'm going to make a third level pot, the biggest, but later when after I do the harvest of the Neville Haze Auto. I haven't decided yet how and how many clones to grow, so I'm not disturbing the mother plant.

nutrient change 7/18 had to remove scrog net was too difficult trying to move around their to change it out. Another week of explosive growth almost 2 feet tall already and starting to fill up the whole area already. Switched the light to bloom almost out room to move my light up.

Shes chugging along like a steam engine! I'm so excited to have this in my arsenal. I'm also very content with the way she handled the LST. I'm sure she would be very tall without the training all of that energy would have went to the main cola. Shes budding quickly at this stage shes very happy with less soil than more as it dries quickly I hope others learn this as well. I've found using less soil is producing my largest autos with fox farm ocean forest. It's not how deep the roots go but rather how wide. Aug 2: Tropicana Cookies FF is three weeks younger than my two biggest plants (Sunday Punch EV and Mimosa Shot) and two weeks younger than Lemon Cream Kush. This is a very strong plant and is progressing very well. This wagon with LCK started force flowering a week later than the other wagon and will go another week longer. TC is now the tallest of the four plants despite being the youngest. Aug 5: now done force flowering after 2.5 weeks. Plants in this wagon are getting too big to easily get into garage. Continuing to use far red light as a bloom booster at dusk. Back to 15.5 h of daylight in the backyard now.

Explosive growth during the first week of flower, also turned the LED from 380 to 500w at a distance of 48cm. Only thing on my mind is when to defoliate, torn between doing it once now day 7 flower and again at day 21 or to wait until day 21 and do it all at once. Left the EC at 1.2 as they look happy.

This plant has been growing unbelievably well. She has not only grown fast but evenly. I've been doing some pruning of the tiny lower bud sites that won't grow into much and doing some more LST to let more light in.
