Day 29: She’s growing fast now. I’m trying to keep her short with continuous LST. I think I saw the first pre-flower on day 28. Day 30: There were too many leaves, so I did a huge defoliation to free up lower branches. Day 31: She reacted in the best way possible to the defoliation. Look at the amazing growth from 4:30AM to 11AM. 😜 Later that day I did a SUPER CROPPING (hyper would be better) on EVERY branch I could see. I know, that’s a crazy, fool, move, but if I don’t do stuff like this I’m not happy. Many hearts for you, lovely Stress Killer. I know you hate me now, but it’s for your best interests! Day 32: Recovering from super cropping. Day 33: Almost totally recovered, creating new branches, strengthening existing ones and showing new pre-flowers. Veery nice!

En esta semana ya empezamos a "lavar raíces", dejamos de nutrir a la planta. Le doy un riego con Enzymas, para que éstas descompongan lo que quede de nutrientes en el sustrato, y otro riego con solo agua. Destacar que ha descendido algo la temperatura, y que el agua de riego también es ahora más fría.

Two of the plants had little bit of powdery mildew so I defoliated those leafs. Also sprayed them with baking soda, liquid soap and water mixture. Hopefully we don't find any more of that. Otherwise everything seems good they are healthy and growing well.

Hey guys! Sorry for the late update, I've been hella busy lately! 😱 This week was good and for that very reason it was uneventful. I did some defoliation to let the lower branches receive more light and it seems the plants received it well. 😁 Matcha still has some weird looking leaves 😰 but I suppose those are old leaves and they are just there because I didn't cut them earlier. Pistachio in another hand is doing great! 😍 I also took some photos of their roots, they look interesting! I suppose they are that way because the root mass below them must be huge. The pictures don't do these buds justice. They are a brilliant purple and orange color. I have definitely outdone myself for my first grow ever. These buds have that perfect subtle smell and taste of blue salt water taffy. It's brilliant. I couldn't get it to reveg which is a disappointment but it will live on in my memory

Got a dehumidifier it’s reading different from what mine controller 69 is saying but I have it set at 40% it’s the lowest so it’s going pull humidity regardless right now it’s about 53% which is okay would like it to get down to the 40’s I also changed the light schedule today to 20/4 the humidity raises at in my tent when lights are out so I figured change it to 20/4 instead of the 18/6 I’ve been running so if humidity does go over it won’t be for as long as before hopefully this works just trying to avoid any mold situation So far the Amneisa Haze 2 is at stretching she’s going be big I can but the haze 2 is done seems to just be flowering the sour diesel is looking good as well so far I’m happy with its looking like left town for two days and the auto watering pots worked!

Without support, branches would fall under their own weight, which is a good sign of strong flower density but also a reminder of the importance of plant training. The frost continues to thicken, and the trichomes look spectacular up close, sparkling in photos and videos like tiny glass forests. ⸻ ⚠️ Trouble in Paradise – Bud Rot But with big flowers also come risks. This week, Bud Rot (Botrytis cinerea) showed up on BlueBerry #2. • Conditions: High humidity (65%+, sometimes higher) combined with dense flowers created the perfect environment for rot. • Detection: Early spotting saved the plant. It thrives in humid, poorly ventilated conditions, especially inside large dense colas where moisture can hide. How to prevent: • Keep humidity lower during flower (ideally 40–50%). • Maintain constant airflow across and through the canopy. • Defoliate strategically to open airflow inside dense plants. • Avoid watering late in the cycle to reduce night-time moisture. What to do if it appears: • Act quickly. Remove all affected buds immediately. • Sterilize scissors/tools between cuts to avoid spreading spores. • Keep monitoring daily — once it appears, it can spread fast. Bud Rot is every grower’s nightmare, but also one of the most important lessons in environmental balance. ⸻ 💡 Lessons Learned (and Moving Forward) This 8x8 setup is teaching us a lot. For the next run, I’ll be redesigning the airflow system entirely to prevent these issues. For now, the plants are still thriving, and catching the rot early means we can continue with this grow. Big flowers are a blessing, but they require serious air control. We’re already working on solutions, including an AC and new placement strategies, which I’ll cover in more detail on YouTube. ⸻ 📸 The Beauty Side Even with this challenge, the girls are stunning: • Massive colas held up by yo-yos. • Sparkling trichome close-ups showing the magic of Week 6. • Heavy branches bending under the weight of their own production. Bueno, ayer hice el ultimo riego, mas cantidad de lo habitual, y ya cuando seque, se corta, supongo que actualizaré fotos, conforme avance la semana, del corte y posterior proceso ya que dado que hubo araña y ciertos problemas, voy a hacer el budwashing que habitualmente hago. En el video se ve algún cogollo con telaraña de araña roja, de ahí el budwashing. Dentro de lo malo, no son todos los cocos los que la tienen pero bueno, un buen lavado no jode nada.
