Week 5 begins for LSD and Green Crack! The LSD ladies had the most yellowing over the last week, yet they have the most frost on the buds. The Green Crack ladies had a little bit of yellowing and has bigger buds, but no frost at this time. They all seem very happy in their new 4x8 home. Have been overfeeding this girl. Shes still going strong tho. Flushing her for 1 week then returning to the feed schedule I should've been using for my set up. 🤷‍♂️🏽🌿

Beginning of week.. Gonna leave the nutes the same this week.. She seems to be doing great where she is.. In the next couple weeks I'll drop the Armor Si (Silica) and up the Kushie Kush (bloom booster) and FloraNectar FruitNFusion.. Trichome rubbing smells nice.. I think I'm beginning to smell the cheese 🧀 lol Mid week.. She is packin on the trichomes nicely! Flowers are forming awesomely as well! Niceeee..... End of week.. Forgot to get some pics.. But still just packin on trichomes and flowers.. The smell is really getting kinda strong already too.. For how early it is in flower.. But wow.. Niceeee.... Lol on to the next!!!...

Week 8 of flower is in the books and this show is quickly coming to an end. I said last week we had about 7-10 days and I was spot on at the 10 day mark. I was only wrong about the order. The cheese is ready to chop before the rest and the gorilla cookies, cherry Bomb and lemon haze will follow in due course. The cheese is a beast and it’ll take a little time to get it all run through the bowl trimmer. At least the big one goes first. Her tallest colas have foxtailed like mar, despite the late supercrop. You can tell where the sweet spot for the light is at about 10” distance from the canopy. Any closer than that and the tails begin to show prominently. It’s a good example of just how close you can get to these fixtures with a little bit of prior experience. It’s been noted for the next run😎👍😎. The res. is on an h2o2 only flush for the remainder until the rest are ready to come down. Not a moment too soon either - the pollen chucking project has stalled out waiting for these girls to finish and now that we’ll have a little extra room, we can start running our cuts in the aerocloner🤟. Not long at all now folks. Thanks for tagging along through all this. Learned a bunch about this system and we’re back to hardware mode to make some serious improvements for the next run🤙😎. I love hardware mode😉. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. Buds getting big. Very good sweet smell. Remembers a little bit the Radical Juice smell.

Hey guys . A wonderful week goes by with a super growth :-). After I topped it for the first time last week, it recovered very quickly and showed great growth. I don't think I will use topping again on the lady because I should slowly blossom with a few other women :-) think it will be ready in the next 7-14 days for Flowering 👍. This week it was poured 3 times with 1 l each time (for nutrients, see table above). The tent was cleaned and the health of all women was checked :-). After the photos she was sprayed again with neem oil so that the last little tripse disappeared. Even if you can't see any more trips I will spray it one last time next week to make sure :-). Can someone tell me please why my buds aren’t fattening?? They have stayed this size for over 2 weeks now and I don’t see much difference. This is my first grow ever I started it on the 25th of may indoors then greenhouse after. Do autos take longer In a greenhouse?

01/01 happy new year start of a new week here. Top dressed with craft blend, pushin p, and ocean blend, and 2/1 mix of buildaflower and castings .and watered in rootwise goodies just 3 gallons also raised vpd to 1.2 and ppfd to 550-600 depending on the spot. 01/02 remembered to shift the hours down to 16/8 definitely gave em to much light for to long looked pissed before lights out. Also have been adjusting light height and power to get the ppfd I want and temp. Think I got it dialed in now. Just keep tucking for now 01/03 made adjustments to light and environment again took controller off AI and manually set everything and the environment is super I dialed in now. Also started the fungal prime mix for a pre bloom/stretch tea. 01/04 watered in 3.5 gallons of plain water and 3.5 gallons with goodies. Very light on NPK this time did some more tucking

In week 10 I have some plants, which have grown taller than the rest (canopy is appr. 80 cm high now). In order to not have to raise my lamp, I rather correct their height by 'supercropping' them. Supercropping is a technique developed by SOMA from SOMA_seeds and works VERY WELL. Instead of topping your plants (=cutting off the main stem) it is better to take the main stem between your fingers (appr. 15-20 cm form the top) and brake the fibers inside and then bend it downwords. This way the stem will stay intact and heal itself and you dont loose the main buds growing on it later. In the video above I show and explain how I supercrop a plant. The plants are now getting more and more into flowering and therefore I switch the dimmer on my SANlight EVO4-120 plants to 100% now (see in video above). The BIO NOVA nutrients are increased as well a little bit, so the plants can build big buds.

Blüte – Woche 3 Wie man auf den Bildern sehen kann, beginnen die Buds langsam zu wachsen – ein wunderschöner Anblick! 🌸 Auch ein leichter Duft macht sich inzwischen im Zelt bemerkbar, allerdings noch recht dezent. Ansonsten gibt es keine großen Veränderungen oder Komplikationen. Das warme Wetter ist zwar eine kleine Herausforderung – für mich und die Mädels – aber ich gebe mein Bestes, um Temperatur und Luftfeuchtigkeit stabil zu halten. 🌡️🌿

So this was the first week I saw active budding. Also the first week for issues. Had a phosphorus deficiency issue. Feeding twice a week instead of once a week now. Removed the large fan leaves which were suffering most. She seems to be perking back up though. Hopefully a better report next week.

Week 3 for the Apricot from our favorite autoflower company, of course fastbuds 420! All looks quite good at the moment. This week we gave bloom, root, silica, calmag amino, sugar shot, sticky fingers and bloom booster all from xpert nutrients!

Hi guys, At the end of the story, I am very happy with the whole cycle and finally the outcome, I almost killed everything in there 😂 The Black D.O.G is a great Indica dominant strain, with a short flowering period. I did have problems throughout the cycle overfertilizing the plant, even though, this strain in particular is the one that recovered better and gave me a precious final product. Iinfact, I kept almost all the flowers, just the super baby pop-corn went for bubble hash. I topped them, and then practiced LST training to help them growing wider. Probably if I wouldnt have messed up with the ferilizer I would have a much better final product, this time, talking about quantity and quality. The whole plants were dried for 18 days after which they were finished in jars for another 6 weeks, if I dont fell sooner. Really looking forward to grow this strain again Indoor, I'am amazed by the terpene profile and the amount of resin they produced, even under my terribles mistake! STRONG GENETIC! I would like to thank Grow Diaries for this amazingly-organized community they have created, where we all can learn a lot, and share something we really love. Thanks to everyone who stopped by and looked at the diary, squeezed the like button or comment the diary. 13/12 I'VE MADE MY FIRST RUN OF BUBBLE HASH! Very very happy with the end result, did not weight anything yet because is still wet big time, I lightly squeezed it a bit, before let it drying on parchment on a cardboard. The smell it's just absolutely crazy. I can smell strong citrus notes in the 120µm but the 90µm and 73µm explodes with crazy-sweet note. While the 25µm (did not use the 43µm) where I did collect most of the hash, smell like good and sweet hash, nothing crazy like the previous ones but a very buttery like consistency that makes me want to eat it like this...dont ask me why...even though I know you all probably felt this way too... Anyway, the paper sheet says it all about timing, washes and µm used for the extractions, but just in case I'll explain it down here. I have done 3 wash with different timing. 1º wash: 5 min only to get the most brittle trichome heads 2º wash: 10 min stardard 3º wash: 30 min to stock up a bit 😅 I could have done an extra wash for sure and get more out, but I was running out of time so...I will update with the dry weight, it was not the only wash I've done, that were just too many grades to weight up..so I chose to do it once all dry! Continued growth on day 105, as October gets closer the days get shorter and the nights a bit chillier. The plants have continued to develop beautiful trichomes and the smell is scrumptious. I still find a few caterpillars here and there though i have prevented most of them from destroying the plant. Please do not neglect to check up on the state of each bud if growing outdoors.
