01/24 - She ran great - Hit a hiccup with the mother and lost her right after the last set of clones where plucked - Human errors prevented the plant from reaching full potential but did produce very big Colas and final product was dense sticky nuggs with a wonderful terpene profile. She (clones) was awesome to run and will definitely be running soon and will be in rotation. 01/26 - The ladies locked up pretty nicely - Dense even 3.5G nugs - Run 60/60 on the dry and it completely negated the dreaded "Hay Smell" terpenes are very noticeable with clean notes of the lemon while burning. 01/31 - She finished off wonderfully - amazing smell - terpenes locked in nicely - easy to trim - with a better light I could have seen a 35% increase on final yields easily.

Allright guys & gals, In my Quest to mastering the art of growing my own bud I've reached the classic, overfeeding point but i've decided to just dile it down a gear and keep at it...I'm amazed with the Northern Lights blooming, it looks way readier then the Diesel Haze, eventhough it was planted 2 full weeks after. the budsare smaller still, but fostier and just looking riper....I have noticed the bigger leaves getting some nasty nuteburn (or at least I guess thats what it is) . I will definately go super easy on the nutes next grow. ....Trust the process.... Update... The NL is suffering quite a bit... Update... Giving just water the next times to see if they recover... Pistils becoming brown now and smell slowly getting stronger...

Last week went well once the distance was changed for the light and I added another mL per gallon of cal-mag and she is getting color back to some of the damaged leaves. I think she is back on the right track. She has needed more cal-mag than anything I have grown. Can't wait to try it out when finished. The smell is unreal. Reminds me of a super sour smelling candy like sour patch kids. She is stacking up bud nicely so far. Just smooth sailing for the next few weeks I expect. Until next time happy growing to everyone!

Last week flew by beautifully, and everything is looking great! 🌿✨ To test their stress response, I slightly reduced the ladies' nutrient supply. Now, everything is back on track with normal parameters, and they’re thriving again 💪. The excess potassium from earlier has had an interesting effect – the buds have become so heavy that some of the branches can no longer support their weight! 😅 I’ve already had to set up some supports, as you’ll see in the first video from day one of the new week 🎥🌱. So this is a combination of weeks 11-12 as they all went into 48 hours of darkness and cut down on different days. My got cut down on different days. Will post dry harvest pics next ;p

Easy strain without extra care.

******************************************** Harvest report. 📋Well what can I say, this is by far the nicest smoke I have ever had, the taste is phenomenal, its gelato with a spicy earthy after taste to it. The smoke is quite a balanced high but very strong and kicks in quickly. I think its going to be a minimum THC of 25%. Buds are super dense and sticky as hell. She was relatively easy to grow, had slight issue over feeding at one point. I have spent years trying to find a strain that I would class as my perfect smoke and I think I have found it. Will I grow it again? Definitely. Would I recommend it? Yes. If anyone reads this report, go get some of these seeds and get them grown, I can say you shouldn't be disappointed by this strain, it's fire. 📋Stats Seed to harvest=128 days. Veg=42 days. As for these Purple Ghost Candy plants; they're tiny.. all of them the same size, we're expecting a decent flowering stretch..idk about the 4x2 scrog table this time (it is coming though lol) because of how long this is taking already..these are only in 3gal pots too, this doesn't give us a ton of play anyway.. It was an easy week.. we're leaving for the weekend, these girls will be on autopilot for a few days..we just hosed down all tents and hoping for the best.. Hey guys, sorry just another quick Update for you as I’m still busy.. Last week will be a little more Detailled, promise. Quick video for you from 09.12; on day 52 of bloom, just dialled the Fade in - the BBc started fading even without the Athena. Let’s hope for some flawless last weeks.

Week 11 Day 71 (9/25) Well I made an partially informed decision with her. I went ahead and gave her a mini flush, ran 3 gallons of water through her to try and get some of the excess nutrients out. I'll give a few days, then will feed her again. I'm going to try and remember to bust out the microscope tonight and check her trichomes. She's still got plenty of white pistils, but I just need to see if I am actually able to see the trichs for when the time comes. Day 72 (9/26) Her pot was still fairly heavy this morning, so no plans to feed today. I'm thinking tomorrow she'll be ready. I feel so bad for her, she's looking kinda pitiful. I did get a chance to try out a cheap little phone clip on microscope I have. It was difficult to get it down to the bud, but took a few pics. These are zoomed in on the small area that it actually captured. Worked out okay, but it's gotta be like ON the bud to see anything, and now it's sticky and funky. Which to be fair, isn't really a bad thing. I think it will work well enough to check trichomes for readiness. Her pistils are browning surprisingly quickly, I wasn't expecting that. I may start checking trichomes every few days or so. Day 73 (9/27) Wasn't able to get on and get posted yesterday, the mother-in-law was at our house all day. But she was feeding us mushrooms all day, so I guess that's okay lol. Day 74 (9/28) I was able to get up early and get her fed. Her smell is amazing, sweet and potent. I messed around a bit with the microscope but it's pretty hard to get decent pics. Day 75 (9/29) Played around with the microscope a bit last night. It's pretty hard to get clear shots of the trichomes, but I'm getting better at it the more a mess with it. Debating on getting a handheld microscope off amazon or something, just to try to make it easier and more clear to see the trichomes. Currently working on the wife about getting some lights for the 4x4 and getting that tent going. I'd like to be able to run multiple plants! Day 76 (9/30) She's getting closer and closer! After the flush, it seems like the lockout is over as she isn't progressing like she was. Day 77 (10/1) I pulled out the microscope lens for my phone and checked trichomes. Realized I was probably better off just taking a video and checking multiple buds. Worked out pretty good, just paused the video when I had a clear shot and was able to zoom in and such to look closer. Here I am...just waiting....waiting...waiting...waiting...

Not finished with the harvest yet will update when I’ve done a second trim on everything and weighed in. The pics so far just a branch from each plant. 3 slightly different phenotypes. The buds I’d swear have a pinkish hue. Very strange colour came through in the end almost has a purple look about it. Very happy with results and yield. The yeild could be much bigger given space and time for veg but for my needs This was an awesome grow. Really nice sticky hard buds on the most. One of the Phenotypes was a bigger yield and much tighter fatter buds but all look great.✌️🏻 I should also say a big thank you to Barney’s for providing free seeds for this grow. It’s a pleasure growing your girls. So smoking this stuff properly tonight, yeah it’s good. Very heavy warm stoned feeling after a few spliffs.. my tolerance is quite high but this stuff has rocked my night. Really pleased with the results after curing for a few weeks I think I found a new favourite🤤🤤😂😂well until the next one. The buds are nice and dense and really have a nice firm feel to them. They also had a fairly decent covering of trichomes that sit in the herb well, it’s surprisingly smooth to say it’s not cured yet. It’s gonna be beautiful stuff oh yass yass yass. Update/ getting super tight now, it’s going to be very difficult to keep my hands off it for too long🤤😂 So a friend came around to see me yesterday. I let him have a good smoke of Phantom OG. He left with both fists clenched and thumbs pointing skyward. This cannabis really is top class, and really does have medicinal value. I’d say it’ll make a great stress killer for anyone I think it’ll quash any anxiety issues going on as well✌️🏻😌✌️🏻

Its amazing how tall these plants are getting, the topped one is just as tall as the non-topped. Flipped these to 12/12 last weekend, no sign of flower yet, added some p/k to the last watering. Slight burning on top leaf tips which I'm guessing is because of it growing closer to the light, I'll have to work out a way to shorten the light hangers.
