Ho iniziato a sciacquare con acqua 🚿 fredda ben 2 settimane prima per fare un test e per vedere se effettivamente aumenta la produzione di resina come si legge in giro in qualche articolo, beh non farlo se non vuoi stressare inutilmente le tue piante, dal mio di punto di vista non è cambiato nulla se non fate ingiallire prima tutte le foglie, stessa cosa le 48h di buio…il sole non si è ancora spento tutto questo tempo! Seguire invece un certo ritmo di luce e cambiare lo spettro delle tue luci, questo sì che può fare la differenza, meno luce rossa negli giorni e più luce UV metterà le tue piante nelle condizioni di difendersi da quella luce ultravioletta facendo produrre tricomi per questo motivo! Dovrebbe essere quello che si avvicina di più allo spettro solare autunnale 🏵️

It's week four of flower, and my humidifier is busted. I can't afford to replace it right now so she's stressing. And by she I mean the two clones and then I popped the mom in the same pot due to space constraints. They seem to be doing well despite the dead of winter in Michigan humidity.

Another Defoliation at the end of stretch this week for the Northern and she's now in full bud mode at end of Week 8. 3-4 left I think before the chop and she's just a happy monster. Buds forming nicely on't Chemdawg despite a bit of Nutrient Burn on some of the leaves. Skipped a feed last week and replaced with Molasses only just to help her fight off the excess 2nd Chemdawg looks like she will bud from head to toe a fairly straight forward week for all the girls but started to stink and show their flowers nicely. Week 2 went fast with zero issues from this strain it has become my favorite of current grows as of now based on structure, growth rate and it's overall healthiness. I have a feeling this is going to be a really nice plant by flower. I gave her her first worm tea this week and a foliar spray as well. Other then that I'm gradually pushing the light intensity daily hoping to reach my veg lights max output shortly without stressing it. Also rigged my light to move for me check out the video of it moving that mover cost me about 4 feet of tie down wire and that's it keep that in mind if your on a budget! You don't have to buy one if you get creative! Anyway I'm having a good time with this can't what to start training on the coming weeks. Day 57 : 600W LED, 18 hours on 6 hours off light schedule, the same with ventilation. Water intake 200 ml per plant per day, fertilization remains the same on Monday, Wednesday and Friday Biobizz Family and on Tuesday Thursday Saturday bat guano and Epsom salt. Humidity approx 50 %. Smell is strong and nice. Day 58: I removed all the LST stuff so no more elastic bands and hooks. Day 62: Plants are developing nicely especially BlackBerry Kush and LSD-25 they will be the fastest.

I am still battling a little magnesium deficiency. Starting to add cal mag in her moisture water between feeds. Likely due to the small Potter she is in. Hopefully will have the rest of that issue resolved now. Also raising the ph a little should help as well. She is growing under the new Spider Farmer G3000 light. I likely will have to transplant to a little bigger small Potter soon. Been using the run off to rinse the substrate I will use. So she won't know anything happened when I do it. Just more room. Basically avoiding a ph difference between coco substrate is plan. Happy New Year!!! Over the past week I did some HST bending on my photos and cut down 2 of the 3 Blackberry’s. The branches are starting to recover and straighten out after the HST now. I still have some issues with pale leaves and a few spots here and there. I’m going to try adding some Dolomite Lime with the next watering and think that should help with the paleness. I’m also going to up the amount of CalMag and Mammoth P to see if that helps with the spotting. I’m not sure if I should see the spotted leaves recover or if the spots will remain. I suspect the spots will remain on the existing leaves regardless of what I do at this point, but hopefully no new spotting will develop. The lights went off before I was done taking pics, so some pics will look a little different. The pics with the lights on I had to color correct, they still look a little more on the yellow side than in reality, but much closer to reality than the pre-color corrected versions. Once the lights went off I turned the flash on for my camera, those pics did not need any color correction. You can see the differences in the pics of all plants, the first 2 are color corrected with the lights on, the last 2 are taken with a flash and no color correction. Also all close up pics of the Critical+ are with the lights off and flash on. I read several books on cannabis over the past few days, some good, some not so much. One that I liked was “Marijuana Cultivation Reconsidered: The Science and Techniques For Huge Indoor Yields” by Read Spear. This book is available on Amzon’s Kindle Unlimited service, which costs $9.99/month, but they offer a free 30 day trial (which is what I’m using at the moment). Reed’s book is broken down into 3 sections, the first and third go fairly deep into the science behind growing, he does a pretty good job at breaking it down in easy to understand terms, but I had to read several sections 2 or 3 times to really get it (or just move on with as much understanding as I could digest). The second section is the nuts and bolts of growing. Most was a review but there were several topics he touched on I hadn’t thought of in a while. And again its well written. He also offers the section only in a separate book called “Small Spaces, Big Yields”. If you are not interested in going deeper into the science behind growing, “Small Spaces, Big Yields” is what I would recommend (if interested in reading books on cannabis). I took some notes while reading and I’m going to add some of these notes in my dairy updates over the next few weeks. This week I’m going to include a note on electrical, this should be a fairly basic concept, but it is super important IMO… “Electrical Items In a sealed grow room or in a tent, you will have water pooling on the floor from time to time. There is no avoiding this. Mop it up when you see it, and never put your electrical gear directly on the floor. Never. Not even for a moment. In fact, let me stress this point in bold capital letters. ALL ELECTRICAL GEAR MUST BE MOUNTED SECURELY ON A WALL OR TENT POLE.” -Read Spear I’ll add more did bits like this in my diaries over the upcoming weeks. If anyone has any good book recommendations please let me know in the comments. I’m looking for books that might not be as popular as the ones by Jorge Cervantes or Ed Rosenthal (I’ve read those). I did just order “True Living Organics” by The Rev which I’m looking forward to reading. But I’m looking for more. I really want to step it up and learn as much as possible. Week 8 10-14 Day 50 She looks, smells and grows well! Little studdered on drinking. What else but pics and videos! 10-16 Just water and pictures. Letting her do her thang! Around 500-700ml water a day. 10-19 Some burn, so I ran some runoff, yep burn! 1200 ppm now 400. 😱 Well 2 weeks from here 🤣 or so. 10-20 Nothing changed. .
