DogDoctorOfficial Week 2 - Blueberry Muffin (Pheno A) ?š±
Hello everyone, and welcome back to another update from Project Blue Tent!
For anyone joining the journey for the first time, this run follows multiple cultivars and phenotypes from Zamnesia, with each phenotype receiving its own dedicated diary. By documenting Pheno A and Pheno B separately, we can follow their individual development, compare traits, and observe how each plant expresses its genetics from seed to harvest.
This project is also being conducted under a 12/12-from-seed schedule. Rather than using an extended vegetative period, the plants receive 12 hours of light and 12 hours of darkness from the very beginning. The goal isnāt to grow the largest possible plants, but to efficiently explore genetics, phenotype expression, structure, vigor, and flowering characteristics while maintaining a manageable footprint.
Week 2 Overview
The second week has brought some fantastic progress throughout the tent. Growth has accelerated noticeably, root systems continue to establish themselves, and the plants are beginning to transition from fragile seedlings into young vegetative plants.
PPFD has now been increased to approximately 370 µmol/m²/s, providing more energy as the plants become capable of handling higher light levels. Environmental conditions have remained stable, with temperatures around 27°C during lights-on and 25°C during lights-off. Relative humidity has been maintained near 55% with the help of a humidifier, ensuring a comfortable environment for early growth.
Watering remains deliberately conservative. Each plant received approximately 250 ml on Day 8 and another 250 ml on Day 11. Nutrient levels have also been increased gradually throughout the week. We finished the week at approximately EC 0.9 mS/cm and pH 6.0, allowing the plants to adapt comfortably while monitoring their response.
Current feeding schedule:
⢠Terra Grow ā 1.8 ml/L
⢠Pure Zym ā 1 ml/L
⢠Power Roots ā 1 ml/L
⢠Sugar Royal ā 1 ml/L
The response so far has been very encouraging. Healthy color, strong growth, and no signs that the plants are struggling with the increased feeding levels.
Blueberry Muffin Pheno A
This week has been all about proving that first impressions donāt tell the whole story.
During the first week, this phenotype displayed some unusual leaf development. Nothing particularly concerning, but enough to give her a little extra character compared to some of her sisters. Those early quirks are still visible on a few of the older leaves, serving as a reminder of her unique start.
The newest growth, however, tells a completely different story.
Fresh leaves are emerging beautifully formed, symmetrical, and vibrant green. The plant appears to be thoroughly enjoying the gradual increase in nutrition and has responded with noticeably stronger growth throughout the week.
Several new nodes have developed, five-finger leaves have begun appearing, and overall structure is becoming much more defined. The root system continues to establish itself beneath the surface while the canopy steadily expands above it.
One thing that stands out most this week is the color. The foliage carries a rich, healthy green tone that suggests the plant is comfortable, actively growing, and making excellent use of the available nutrition.
At this stage, Pheno A is looking vigorous, healthy, and increasingly confident.
Mr. Baggy Report
Mr. Baggy remains hard at work supervising daily operations throughout the tent. While productivity reports remain difficult to verify, morale appears exceptionally high.
Further investigation is ongoing.
Looking Ahead
If growth continues at the current pace, next week should bring:
⢠Faster node development
⢠Larger five-finger leaves
⢠Increased branching potential
⢠Stronger stem development
⢠More visible phenotype traits
Week 3 is often where young plants begin showing much more of their individual personalities, and Iām excited to see what this Blueberry Muffin has in store.
Final Thoughts
Overall, I couldnāt be happier with how Week 2 has progressed. The early leaf quirks that initially caught my attention are becoming less relevant with each passing day as healthy new growth takes over.
A huge thank you to everyone following along, commenting, sharing advice, and supporting the project.
Special thanks to Zamnesia, Plagron, Future of Grow, and the entire growing community helping make this journey possible.
Thank you for stopping by, and Iāll see you all next week for another update from Project Blue Tent.

DogDoctorOfficial Blueberry Muffin ā Pheno A | Week 3

Blueberry Muffin Pheno A
* Voortdurende internodale afstand
* Vertakking ontwikkeling
* Algehele kracht in vergelijking met haar zusfenotype
* Vroege aanwijzingen van Blueberry Muffin structurele eigenschappen
* Reactie op de verhoogde PPFD-niveaus

Blueberry Muffin ā Pheno A
A Quiet Girl Starting to Show Her Character ššø
Hello everyone, and welcome back to another chapter of the 8Ć8 Adventure! š±š
If you've been following this grow, you already know that Blueberry Muffin has never really been the girl trying to steal the spotlight.
She's compact.
She's controlled.
She's not particularly tall.
And compared with some of the more aggressive plants in the room, she has always had a slightly slower, quieter rhythm.
But that's exactly what makes watching her so interesting.
Because while some plants seem to scream:
"LOOK AT ME!"
Blueberry Muffin has always been more like:
"Don't worry. I'm getting there." š?
And this week...
She's still getting there.
Beautifully.
āāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāā
šø Week 10 ā Keeping Things Steady
We're not making any dramatic changes this week.
Actually, quite the opposite.
At this stage, consistency is becoming one of the most important tools we have.
We're keeping the environment as close as possible to where it was last week, maintaining the same general lighting, irrigation and feeding strategy while allowing the plant to continue developing at her own pace.
Of course...
It's summer. āļø
And summer has other plans.
Keeping temperatures absolutely identical day after day isn't realistic.
We see a degree up.
A degree down.
A small fluctuation here.
Another one there.
And that's perfectly normal.
What matters is that we're keeping those variations controlled rather than allowing the environment to swing wildly.
The things we can keep stable...
We're keeping stable.
The nutrient solution.
The watering.
The root-zone conditions.
The light schedule.
The general humidity.
The lighting intensity.
And most importantly...
The routine.
āāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāā
? Blueberry Muffin ā Still the Compact One
Blueberry Muffin is currently around 75 cm, and that hasn't changed dramatically.
And honestly?
I'm perfectly happy with that.
Not every plant needs to become a giant.
Not every phenotype needs to stretch aggressively.
This girl has been telling us from the beginning that she prefers a more compact architecture.
She's building flowers.
She's maintaining beautiful foliage.
She's producing healthy new growth.
She's simply doing it in her own time.
And looking at the photographs this week, that's becoming increasingly obvious.
The plant may be compact...
But she is certainly not lacking in flowers.
The developing buds are becoming more pronounced throughout the canopy, with plenty of pistils and increasingly defined floral structures.
She's quietly stacking.
And that's what I want to see.
āāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāā
šæ Slow Doesn't Mean Stagnant
This is something I think is worth mentioning.
When we say Blueberry Muffin is slower than some of her neighbours, that doesn't mean she's sitting still.
Far from it.
She's changing every week.
The flowers are developing.
The branches are carrying more weight.
The plant is gradually shifting from producing new vegetative structure toward putting more emphasis on the flowers already established.
It's just happening without the explosive vertical growth we've seen from some of the other plants.
And honestly...
That can be a beautiful trait.
A compact plant can sometimes make canopy management much easier.
There's less vertical drama.
Less fighting for height.
Less chasing branches.
And more time to simply watch the flowers develop.
āāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāā
š” The Lights ā Where the Photons Go
One of the things I'm particularly enjoying at this stage is watching how the lighting strategy interacts with this plant.
We're not simply throwing light at the top of the canopy and hoping for the best.
The Future of Grow LEDs are providing the main lighting foundation above the plants, delivering the primary photon supply that drives photosynthesis across the canopy.
And then we have Lumiflora contributing additional light into areas that would otherwise naturally receive less illumination.
That's an important distinction.
Plants don't experience light as:
"Top light."
They experience photons arriving from different directions and at different intensities.
Our job is to make as many of those useful photons available to productive foliage and developing flowers as practical.
And Blueberry Muffin's compact structure makes this particularly interesting.
Because she's not extremely tall, we're able to maintain a relatively controlled relationship between the light and the canopy.
The upper flowers receive strong illumination.
The inner structure receives additional support.
And the lower portions aren't simply forgotten.
We're trying to create a more complete light environment rather than relying entirely on what happens at the very top.
āāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāā
āļø Photons Are the Currency
I've said this many times throughout the 8Ć8 Adventure, but flowering is really where the relationship between light and plant structure becomes fascinating.
Every photon that reaches a photosynthetic surface has the potential to contribute to the plant's energy production.
But that doesn't mean:
More light = automatically better.
The plant still has to process that light.
Temperature matters.
Humidity matters.
COā matters.
Leaf health matters.
Root health matters.
Water availability matters.
Nutrition matters.
Everything is connected.
And that's why I like having the Future of Grow and Lumiflora lighting working as part of the overall system rather than simply increasing intensity without thinking about the rest of the environment.
We're trying to give the plant useful light while maintaining the conditions necessary for her to actually make use of it.
And Blueberry Muffin seems very happy with the arrangement.
āāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāā
šø Flowers, Flowers Everywhere
The most rewarding part of this week's photographs is, without question, the flowers.
They're becoming more obvious.
More structured.
More numerous.
And increasingly confident.
The pistils are still bright and prominent, but the buds themselves are starting to develop that unmistakable flowering architecture.
This is the stage where the plant begins to transition visually from:
"I have flowering sites."
to:
"I am building flowers."
And Blueberry Muffin is doing exactly that.
She's not rushing.
She's not exploding upward.
She's simply stacking one little piece onto another.
Week by week.
Photograph by photograph.
And eventually we'll look back and wonder where all that floral mass came from.
āāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāā
š§ Stability Where We Can Control It
One thing we're being particularly careful about this week is keeping irrigation and the root environment consistent.
The current setup remains around:
š§ 1.3 L per plant / 24 hours
with the nutrient solution sitting around:
š”ļø 25°C
and the substrate/root-zone temperature also around:
š”ļø 25°C
These are the variables we can control much more directly than the outside summer temperature.
So that's where the focus goes.
If the room temperature moves a little because summer decides to remind us who's boss...
Fine.
We'll work with it.
But there's no reason for the root zone, irrigation routine and nutrient delivery to become unstable at the same time.
The more variables we can keep consistent, the easier it becomes to understand what the plants are actually telling us.
āāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāā
š„„ Feeding ā Don't Fix What Isn't Broken
The feeding strategy also remains steady.
We're not changing things simply because another week has passed.
The plant is healthy.
The foliage is beautifully green.
The flowers are developing.
There are no obvious signs telling me that she needs a dramatic intervention.
So we're continuing with the established flowering nutrition:
⢠Terra Bloom ā 2.2 ml/L
⢠Pure Zym ā 1 ml/L
⢠Power Buds ā 1 ml/L
⢠Sugar Royal ā 1 ml/L
⢠pH Plus / Lemon Kick ā as required
The goal isn't to chase numbers.
The goal is to support the plant's current development and let her continue doing what she's already doing well.
Sometimes the smartest adjustment...
is making no adjustment at all.
āāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāā
š”ļø The Summer Challenge
Our environmental target remains as close as possible to last week's conditions.
We're currently around:
⢠š”ļø Day temperature: ~29.9°C
⢠š Night temperature: ~26°C
⢠š§ RH: ~60%
ā¢ š„„ Substrate temperature: ~25°C
⢠š¦ Solution temperature: ~25°C
⢠āļø pH: ~6.0
⢠┠EC: ~2.0 mS/cm
⢠šØ COā: ~693 ppm
⢠š” Light schedule: 12/12
⢠š§ Watering: ~1.3 L/plant/24h
⢠? Pot: 15 L
⢠š Height: ~75 cm
Summer makes absolute precision difficult.
One day gives us a little more heat.
Another day gives us slightly less.
The important thing is avoiding unnecessary swings and keeping the things we can control as consistent as possible.
And so far...
Blueberry Muffin is handling it beautifully.
āāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāā
š¬ļø A Compact Plant Has Its Advantages
There's another reason I'm enjoying watching this phenotype.
Her compact structure means she isn't creating the same vertical management challenges as some of the more vigorous plants in the room.
She's occupying her space efficiently.
The flowers are distributed across the plant.
The canopy remains manageable.
And because we're not dealing with an enormous stretch, it's easier to keep the lighting relationship consistent.
This is one of those situations where different doesn't necessarily mean better or worse.
It's simply...
different.
And that's exactly what the 8Ć8 Adventure is supposed to reveal.
Twelve genetics.
Twelve personalities.
Twelve different ways of responding to essentially the same growing environment.
Blueberry Muffin's personality continues to be:
Compact. Calm. Slow and steady.
But increasingly floral.
?šø
āāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāā
⨠Future of Grow + Lumiflora ā Lighting the Way
I also want to give another little spotlight to the lighting team this week.
The Future of Grow LEDs continue doing their job above the canopy, providing the main source of light for this flowering room.
And Lumiflora continues contributing additional photons where the canopy naturally becomes less exposed.
I really enjoy seeing the difference this kind of layered lighting strategy can make.
Instead of thinking about the plant as a flat surface...
We're thinking in three dimensions.
Top.
Middle.
Inside.
Lower canopy.
Every part has a different relationship with light.
And while we can't make every flower receive identical intensity, we can certainly improve how photons are distributed throughout the plant.
That's the goal.
Not simply:
"More light."
But:
"Better use of the light we have."
And when I look at Blueberry Muffin's developing flowers...
I think she's making very good use of it.
āāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāā
š§ Observation Is Still the Most Important Tool
At this stage, I don't feel the need to constantly interfere.
We've built the plant.
We've trained her.
We've shaped the canopy.
We've managed the foliage.
We've established the lighting.
We've established irrigation.
We've established nutrition.
Now we're watching.
And that's sometimes the hardest part.
Doing nothing can feel like you're not doing enough.
But plants don't need us to touch them every day.
Sometimes they just need:
Good light.
Water.
Nutrition.
Roots that can breathe.
A stable environment.
And time.
Blueberry Muffin seems perfectly happy with that arrangement.
āāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāā
š® Looking Ahead
The next few weeks should become increasingly interesting.
The plant remains compact, but the flowers are continuing to develop.
The canopy is holding together beautifully.
The lighting system is providing a strong and layered photon environment.
The irrigation remains consistent.
The nutrient programme remains stable.
And we're simply going to continue watching.
Summer may give us a degree here and there.
That's okay.
We'll do our best to keep everything else steady.
Because the objective isn't to create a laboratory where nothing ever changes.
The objective is to create an environment where the changes are small enough that we can understand them.
And Blueberry Muffin?
She's giving us a very clear message.
She's not in a hurry.
She's building.
Slowly.
Compactly.
Beautifully.
?šø
āāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāā
š Final Thoughts ā Let Her Be Herself
I think that's probably the biggest lesson Blueberry Muffin is teaching me right now.
Not every plant needs to be pushed.
Not every phenotype needs to behave the same way.
And not every slow-growing plant is a problem waiting to be solved.
Sometimes...
slow is simply slow.
She's healthy.
She's green.
She's flowering.
She's stacking.
She's compact.
And she's doing it all while the rest of the room is sometimes trying to run away from us. š
So we're going to respect her personality.
We're going to keep the environment as stable as summer allows.
We're going to keep the irrigation and root zone consistent.
We're going to keep the nutrition steady.
And we're going to continue giving her access to plenty of quality photons from the Future of Grow and Lumiflora lighting systems.
Then we'll step back...
and watch.
Because eventually, that quiet little Blueberry Muffin is going to have her moment.
And I think she's going to deserve every bit of the spotlight.
āāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāā
š Thank You
A huge thank you to Zamnesia for giving us the opportunity to explore these Blueberry Muffin genetics and document this beautiful phenotype throughout the journey.
A heartfelt thank you to Plagron for the nutrition supporting the plants through this flowering cycle.
A massive thank you to Future of Grow for providing the main LED lighting powering this room and giving these plants the photons they need to keep building.
And a special thank you to Lumiflora for bringing additional light deeper into the canopy and helping us think about lighting in three dimensions rather than simply from above.
Thank you as well to everyone following the 8Ć8 Adventure on GrowDiaries.
Every week brings another little observation.
Another comparison.
Another lesson.
And another reason to keep documenting.
Blueberry Muffin may be one of the quieter girls in the room...
But she's still writing her own story.
And this week?
She's doing it beautifully.
Slow.
Compact.
Green.
And increasingly covered in flowers. ?šøš
Until next week...

DogDoctorOfficial 8Ć8 Avontuur ā Week 11
Blueberry Muffin ā Pheno A
We gaan kijken.
We gaan water geven.
We kijken aandachtig.
šæ 12/12 Van Zaad ā Waarom Deze Fase Zo Interessant Is
We vragen:
š± Waarom We Op Dit Moment Niet Veel Doen
Reageren we.
Tot die tijd?
Laat haar met rust.

š De Plant Krijgt De Laatste Stem

š Meer Vermogen Betekent Niet Automatisch Beter
š Een Grote Dank Aan Future Of Grow
We gaan kijken.
We gaan vergelijken.
šø Blueberry Muffin Onder Het Nieuwe Licht
š De Stille Persoonlijkheid Van Pheno A
šæ Wat We Hebben Gedaan Om Hier Te Komen
Eerder:
"Wat moet ik doen?"
Nu:
Niets dramatisch.
⢠┠EC: 2.14 mS/cm
⢠šØ COā: ongeveer 693 ppm
⢠š” Lichtschema: 12/12
⢠š§ Irrigatie: ongeveer 1.45 L/plant/24h
⢠? Potmaat: 15 L
š¬ Dit Is Waar Observatie Alles Wordt
Dus nee...
Er is deze week geen groot trainingsverhaal.
Er is geen dramatische interventie.
Er is geen crisis.
En eerlijk gezegd?
Ik ben daar perfect gelukkig mee.
šš
Soms is de beste update:
Ze is gelukkig.
Ze is aan het bloeien.
Ze ontwikkelt zich prachtig.
En we laten haar het doen.
Dat is Blueberry Muffin Pheno A.
Elke plant blijft haar eigen verhaal schrijven.
Sommige zijn luid.
Sommige zijn snel.
Sommige eisen aandacht.
En sommige...
zoals Blueberry Muffin...
Blueberry Muffin ā Pheno A
ā¤ļø The Survivor's Final Chapter Begins ā From the 8Ć8 Jungle to the Macro Photography Studio!
Hello everyone, my friends! šš±
First of all, a little apology!
As you probably know by now, we have quite a lot of content to share from this final stage of the 8Ć8 Adventure. And unfortunately, GrowDiaries gives us a maximum of 30 photos per report.
Thirty photos.
š
For a project with this many plants, this many details, and this much photography, that's not exactly generous!
So we're going to divide the final reports into several parts, just as we've been doing with the other girls. This allows us to give each plant the attention she deserves without leaving out all the little details that make these diaries special.
And today, we're starting with one of our little survivors.
š Blueberry Muffin Pheno A!
This girl has had quite a journey.
She was never the fastest plant in the room. In fact, both Blueberry Muffin sisters have been taking their sweet time throughout this 12/12-from-seed experiment.
While some of their neighbours seemed to be racing through their flowering development, these two decided that they had their own calendar.
šš
But beautiful plants don't need to be fast plants.
And this little lady has given us plenty to appreciate along the way.
Let's take a look at how her story reached its final chapter!
āāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāā
š A LITTLE RECAP ā THE SURVIVOR
For anyone joining us now, this project started with a simple but interesting experiment:
Growing different genetics from seed under a 12/12 light schedule from the very beginning.
No traditional vegetative period.
Just the plants, their genetics, and the same shared environment.
And what a journey it has been!
Blueberry Muffin Pheno A was one of the slower girls in the room. She remained relatively compact, developed at her own pace, and consistently reminded us that not every phenotype follows the same timeline.
Her flowers, however, were always worth watching.
Beautiful structures, lovely colours, and an increasingly interesting appearance as the weeks passed.
We documented her development week after week, including the little changes that might easily go unnoticed when looking at the room as a whole.
And now, as we approached the end of her journey, we had one more little change to make.
āāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāā
š” A NEW LITTLE HOME FOR THE FINAL DAYS
During this final stage, we moved Blueberry Muffin Pheno A and her sister into a smaller tent.
They needed a little extra time there, resting for a few more days than the rest of the room before reaching their own finishing point.
So, while the other girls were already moving through their respective final stages, our Blueberry Muffin sisters had a slightly different schedule.
And that's perfectly fine.
This was still part of the same experiment, and we wanted to give them the time they needed rather than rushing their individual timelines.
By the end of the week, it was harvest time for our little survivor.
ššø
And what a beautiful way to close her journey!
āāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāā
šø THE FINAL LOOK ā BEAUTIFUL FLOWERS AND AN AMAZING SMELL
Before we get too deep into the photography, let's talk about the plant herself.
Because that's what brought us here in the first place!
Blueberry Muffin Pheno A finished her journey with some beautiful-looking flowers.
The photographs included in this report show her final appearance in the tent, allowing everyone to see how she looked during those last days.
And the smell?
Absolutely beautiful!
This is one of those moments when I wish photographs could carry aromas with them.
šš
Unfortunately, we're still waiting for that technology!
For now, you'll have to take my word for it. The aroma was something I really enjoyed, and I'm genuinely looking forward to sharing more about this girl once we get to her smoking bud report.
And believe me, my friends, you don't want to miss that one.
We'll leave the detailed impressions, flavours, and final thoughts for the next chapter.
For now, let's appreciate the plant and the work that went into documenting her.
āāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāā
šø BEHIND THE SCENES ā THERE'S A LOT MORE TO A PHOTO THAN YOU THINK!
Now, this is one of the things I really wanted to include in this report.
Because people see the finished photographs, scroll through them, maybe leave a comment, and move on.
And that's completely understandable!
But there's quite a bit happening behind the scenes before one of those final images reaches the diary.
For this Blueberry Muffin, we went a little deeper into our macro photography.
And I mean DEEP. šš¬
We're including photographs from the studio, some behind-the-scenes moments, and even a little video showing the camera taking the photographs.
I want people to have a better idea of the process.
The equipment.
The setup.
The positioning.
The patience.
The little adjustments.
And, most importantly, the passion behind it.
Because macro photography isn't simply pointing a camera at a flower and pressing a button.
There's a whole process behind every image, and sometimes a single photograph represents quite a bit of work.
I know it's difficult to understand unless you've tried it yourself.
But that's precisely why I enjoy sharing these moments.
I want you to see a little more of what happens outside the final picture.
ššø
āāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāā
š¬ MACRO PHOTOGRAPHY ā 35 TO 666 PHOTOS IN A SINGLE STACK!
And here comes the fun part!
For this session, we went quite deep into focus stacking.
Some of the stacks were relatively small, starting at around 35 individual photographs.
Others required considerably more.
And our maximum for this session?
ā¤ļø 666 PHOTOS IN ONE STACK!
Yes, six hundred and sixty-six!
šš¬
For anyone unfamiliar with focus stacking, here's a quick explanation.
When photographing very small subjects at high magnification, the depth of field becomes extremely limited.
That means only a very small portion of the subject may appear in focus in a single photograph.
Focus stacking is a technique where multiple photographs are taken at slightly different focus distances.
Those images are then combined to produce one final photograph with a much greater area in focus.
Instead of relying on a single image, we're combining information from many individual frames.
And depending on the subject, the magnification, and the amount of detail we want to capture, that can mean dozens, hundreds, or even more photographs.
In this session, we went from approximately 35 frames all the way to 666.
That's a lot of photographs for one final image!
šš
But when you look at the finished results, you can start appreciating why we do it.
Tiny details become visible.
Structures that are difficult to appreciate with the naked eye become much easier to explore.
And the photographs allow us to look at these flowers from a completely different perspective.
It's a little world inside a little world.
š¬šø
āāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāā
? WAIT... IS THAT A GNAT?!
Now, because apparently even our macro photography sessions need a little comedy...
We also managed to capture a gnat!
š?
And not just a random blurry little insect somewhere in the background.
We went in close enough to show the details!
We've included a zoomed-in view so everyone can find our little visitor more easily.
Consider it a small photographic treasure hunt.
Can you spot the gnat?
šš
It's actually a nice example of what macro photography can reveal.
Things that might be almost invisible when looking at the plant normally can become surprisingly detailed when you start exploring the image at high magnification.
And sometimes, you discover something you weren't even looking for!
So, enjoy the little gnat hunt.
I certainly wasn't expecting it to become part of the report!
āāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāā
š„ THE STUDIO ā SHOWING THE WORK BEHIND THE IMAGES
We're also including several photographs from the studio.
You'll see Blueberry Muffin in the photography setup, the equipment, the camera, and some of the behind-the-scenes moments from the session.
There's also a little video showing the camera taking photographs.
I think this is important because I want the community to understand that these diaries aren't just about growing a plant and taking a quick picture every week.
There's a lot of time and passion invested in documenting the journey.
The growing is one part.
The photography is another.
And then there's the editing, the focus stacking, selecting the images, writing the reports, organising everything, and putting it all together.
Sometimes a single diary update represents hours of work.
And that's before we even start talking about all the other plants in the room!
šš
I genuinely enjoy doing it, though.
Because I don't just want to show people what the plants look like.
I want to share the details, the process, the observations, and a little bit of the world behind the camera.
Hopefully, these behind-the-scenes moments give you a better appreciation of the work that goes into every report.
āāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāā
š± THE 12/12-FROM-SEED EXPERIMENT ā EVERY PLANT HAS HER OWN STORY
Looking back at this Blueberry Muffin, one thing remains particularly interesting to me.
She was slower than many of the other plants sharing the room.
And yet, she developed beautifully in her own way.
That's one of the main reasons I wanted to document each phenotype individually throughout this adventure.
We had different genetics sharing the same general environment, and the differences between them became part of the story.
Some moved quickly.
Some took their time.
Some developed very different structures.
And some surprised us along the way.
Blueberry Muffin Pheno A certainly belongs to the slower group.
But she also reminded us that there's more to a plant's journey than how quickly she reaches the finish line.
Same adventure.
Different genetics.
Different expressions.
And plenty of interesting things to learn.
ššæ
āāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāā
ā¤ļø WHAT'S NEXT? THE SMOKING BUD REPORT!
Now, my friends, we're not finished with this girl just yet.
Not even close!
This report is the beginning of her harvest story.
We've shown you the final days in the tent, the move into her temporary little home, and a good part of the photography process.
We've also gone deep into macro photography, with stacks ranging from 35 to 666 photographs, and even found ourselves a little gnat along the way.
šš¬
But there's another part of the story waiting for us.
The actual final bud report!
We'll come back with more details about the flowers, the final impressions, the aromas, flavours, and the smoking experience.
And I'm genuinely looking forward to sharing that with everyone.
The smell was already amazing, and I'm curious to see how the final experience develops.
So stay tuned!

š FINAL THOUGHTS ā ONE LITTLE SURVIVOR, ONE BEAUTIFUL JOURNEY
And here we are.
Blueberry Muffin Pheno A.
Our little survivor.
She wasn't the fastest girl in the 8Ć8.
She certainly didn't rush through her flowering journey.
But she gave us beautiful flowers, an amazing smell, and plenty of interesting moments to document.
We moved her with her sister into a smaller tent for those final days, gave her a little more time, and reached harvest by the end of the week.
And before closing this chapter, we decided to give her the full photography treatment.
From the final tent pictures to the studio, from the behind-the-scenes videos to the macro photographs, and from 35-frame stacks all the way to 666...
We wanted to capture as much of her story as possible.
Because every plant deserves to be documented properly.
And every little detail has a story of its own.
ššøš¬
So, my friends, thank you for joining us for this first part.
The next chapter will bring us closer to the final impressions of this little Blueberry Muffin.
And believe me...
You don't want to miss the smoking bud report!
Growers Love, my friends, and happy growing! š±šš
See you in the next chapter of the 8Ć8 Adventure...
where our little survivor gets her final review,
the macro lens keeps discovering tiny worlds,
the gnat gets its fifteen minutes of fame...
š?
and we keep celebrating every little detail of this beautiful journey.
Let's grow, document, share, and keep learning together! š
Blueberry Muffin ā Pheno A | Our Strain Review
Final Rating: 9/10
Sometimes the best plants aren't necessarily the biggest ones. And Blueberry Muffin ā Pheno A is a perfect example of that!
Growing Experience
This girl was an absolute pleasure to grow!
Despite being one of the slower and more compact plants in our 8Ć8 Adventure, she was incredibly easy to manage from beginning to end.
She was strong, resilient, and showed excellent resistance throughout her journey. No drama, no unnecessary demands, and no difficult moments that made us question what to do next.
She simply kept going at her own pace.
And although she never became a big plant, she certainly showed us that size isn't everything!
Flower Quality
What she lacked in size, she made up for in flower quality.
Her buds developed into beautiful, dense, compact flowers with a lovely appearance and a very inviting aroma.
A small plant carrying some seriously beautiful flowers!
Aroma & Flavour ā First Impressions
Our first impressions are very promising!
We're getting a lovely sweet, pie-like profile, accompanied by earthy notes. Interestingly, the aroma and flavour seem to follow a very similar direction.
There's plenty more to explore here, so we'll save the deeper flavour breakdown and smoking experience for our dedicated Bud Review!
ļø Final Verdict ā 9/10
Why not a perfect 10?
Simply because both Blueberry Muffin phenotypes were quite slow, and the final harvest quantity was more modest than we would have hoped.
But let's be clear: this rating is not a reflection of poor quality.
Quite the opposite!
She was easy to grow, extremely resilient, strong throughout her journey, and rewarded us with beautiful, dense flowers.
If you're looking for a plant that demands very little attention and can deliver lovely flower quality, our experience with this phenotype was certainly a positive one.
Would we grow her again? Absolutely!
Final Thoughts
Blueberry Muffin ā Pheno A might have been one of the smaller girls in our 8Ć8 jungle, but she earned her place there.
Slow? Yes.
Small? Definitely.
Difficult? Not even close!
Sometimes a little girl can leave a pretty big impression.
And this one certainly did.
Our Final Rating: 9/10
Thank you, Zamnesia, for giving us the opportunity to explore this beautiful genetic!
And thank you to everyone following our 8Ć8 Adventure, supporting the diaries, sharing experiences, and being part of this journey.
Growers Love, everyone!

Blueberry Muffin ā Pheno A
ā¤ļø Small Plant, Beautiful Flowers, 51.2 Grams of Blueberry Goodness!
Hello everyone, my friends! šš±
FINALLY!
We're getting into the harvest reports, and today it's time to give our little Blueberry Muffin Pheno A the final chapter she deserves!
We've been following this girl for quite some time, and if you've been with us throughout the 8Ć8 Adventure, you'll know that she has had quite a journey.
But before we get into the numbers, a little recommendation:
šø GO BACK AND CHECK THE PREVIOUS REPORTS!
We've documented this girl throughout her entire journey, from the early stages of our 12/12-from-seed experiment to her final days, the move into the smaller tent, the macro photography sessions, and everything in between.
There are quite a few photographs and details spread across those updates, and some interesting things happened along the way.
Last week's report, in particular, is worth a visit if you want to see the whole story behind her final days and the photography session.
And now, let's see what our little survivor gave us!

š± A QUICK RECAP ā THE LITTLE SURVIVOR
For anyone joining us for the first time, here's a little reminder of what this adventure was all about.
The 8Ć8 Adventure was our experiment with different genetics growing together under a 12/12 light schedule from seed.
No traditional vegetative period.
Different genetics.
Different phenotypes.
One shared environment.
And, as the weeks passed, we got to see just how differently each plant expressed herself.
Blueberry Muffin Pheno A was never one of the fastest girls in the room.
She remained relatively small and compact, taking her sweet time while some of her neighbours were developing at a completely different pace.
But she kept going.
Week after week, she developed her flowers, built her structure, and eventually reached her own finishing point.
We even gave her and her sister a little extra time in a smaller tent while the rest of the room moved towards harvest.
And that's something worth remembering about this experiment:
Not every plant follows the same calendar.
Not every phenotype produces the same amount.
And not every beautiful result needs to be a massive one.

ā FINAL RATING ā 9 OUT OF 10!
š Blueberry Muffin ā Pheno A | Smoke Report šæ
? A Sweet Berry Pie with a Relaxing, Creative Mind!
Well, my friends, it's time to take Blueberry Muffin out of the grow room and into the smoking review!
And after spending quite some time enjoying this girl, I can confidently say that she's a very pleasant medicine to have around.
Let's get into it!
š AROMA & FLAVOUR
Imagine a freshly baked pie filled with mixed berries. That's probably the best way I can describe her flavour profile!
She's incredibly sweet, with a delicious berry character that really stands out. But there's another side to her personality: some strong earthy notes.
Those earthy tones are particularly noticeable in the aftertaste, although you can already pick them up when squeezing the dried buds or doing a dry puff before smoking.
The interesting part is how well everything comes together.
Sweet mixed berries upfront, followed by those deeper earthy notes that give the experience a little more character.
For me, this is a very enjoyable combination. Not just sweet for the sake of being sweet!
š§ EFFECTS & EXPERIENCE
This is where Blueberry Muffin really shines!
She's a relaxing medicine, but not necessarily the kind that switches your brain off completely.
The experience is more like a gentle calming of the mind. She helps me slow down, settle my thoughts and find a more relaxed headspace.
And here's something I particularly enjoy:
Despite that relaxing character, she can also be quite creative!
When I'm editing photos, putting content together, writing or working on creative projects, I find that she can provide a very pleasant headspace. Calm, comfortable, and still capable of keeping the creative wheels turning.
She's not particularly stimulating or energetic. It's more of a relaxed, happy and creative experience.
Based on my personal experience, I'd describe her as a lovely choice for those moments when you want to unwind without necessarily becoming completely disconnected from whatever you're doing.
š PERSONAL EFFECT PROFILE
From my experience, the main characteristics are:
š Relaxing
š Happy
š Creative
š Calming
š More body-relaxing than energising
Her effects lean towards the relaxing side, which also matches the profile shown in our strain experience chart.
šæ A NOTE ON STRESS & WELLBEING
Personally, I find her particularly enjoyable when I want to unwind and take some pressure off my mind.
Stress, anxiety and low moods are among the reasons people may explore different cannabis profiles, and Blueberry Muffin's relaxing character is certainly worth mentioning from my own experience.
Of course, everyone's body and experience are different. These are personal observations, not medical advice or a recommendation to use cannabis to treat any condition.
š§ THE ONLY LITTLE COMPLAINT
Dry mouth!
Yes, she brings that familiar cotton-mouth feeling along for the ride. š
But let's be honest, this is something many cannabis consumers are familiar with.
Cannabinoids can interact with receptors involved in salivary gland activity, which can temporarily reduce saliva production.
My advice? Keep yourself hydrated and have something to drink nearby. Your mouth will thank you!
ā FINAL VERDICT
Blueberry Muffin ā Pheno A is a lovely combination of sweet flavours and relaxing effects.
She's a berry pie with an earthy finish, accompanied by a calm, happy and surprisingly creative headspace.
And here's another interesting observation: both Blueberry Muffin phenotypes have delivered very similar flavour profiles and effects in my experience.
We'll explore Pheno B separately, but it's already interesting to see how closely these two girls resemble each other.
š WOULD I RECOMMEND HER?
Based on my experience, absolutely!
If you enjoy sweet berry flavours, earthy undertones and a relaxing experience that still leaves room for creativity, Blueberry Muffin deserves a place on your list.
She might not have been the biggest producer in our 8Ć8 Adventure, but when it comes to the experience, she certainly knows how to make an impression.
Small plant, beautiful flowers, and a lovely medicine!
Thank you, Zamnesia, for allowing us to explore this beautiful genetic.
And thank you to everyone following the 8Ć8 Adventure and sharing this journey with us!
