Magnificent plant! Sooo, sooo resinous, covered in trichomes and smells super-citrusy - kind of like lemon scented Geranium 🍋 Small but mighty hard buds. This is one of the most trichome producing flowers I have ever seen. I'm in love 😍 Breeder did great job here!

Everything is going great! On day 64 from seed and 16 days into flowering, our beautiful Golden Sands - 1 has been delighting us with her blooms for the third week now. She’s growing rapidly and noticeably before our eyes. We continue to feed her with fertilizers from Xpert Nutrients, and the results are truly impressive. She’s at least 60 cm tall, with the lower side branches spreading wide, while the main cola is tied to the side for support. A huge thank you to Xpert Nutrients for their high-quality fertilizer, which is not only effective but also very easy to use. With such a reliable product, we’re confident that everything will turn out perfectly!

Did a bit more LST but the branches are very woody so won't bend much. Steady as she goes.

Hi everyone this last few weeks have been crazy as you all can see this Gelato turned out to be a Photoperiodic plant. Week 17 in to flower for 2 weeks now. All was going well but I did not have much time to look after it. And got some light burn in the early stages did some training techniques and She looks is recovering now. Some nice pictures how big one of those can get when I wasn't expecting this plant to be a Photoperiodic. But let's see she turned out a female so that's great will be a nice surprise probably. The time is coming. It's very healthy, I ended up exaggerating a little bit with the fert, but don't panic, it's organic, it caused just a little burnt on the edge of the leaves. The weather is stabilizing, it stopped raining here and the humidity is normal now. The pistils are starting to fester and are resining too much. She is very fat, the smell is strong every day and I am totally in love with her.

Day 12 since flip. Not too much to report, we’re going thru the early flower stretch. Plants are enjoying the environment and are perked up. During this time we slowly ramp the lights up about 1-2% each day until we get to about 80%, that’s usually the max I can run this light in a 4x4. Slowly ramping up the light can avoid the stress caused by blasting your plants all at once. I’ve seen too many stress herms in early flower caused by too intense light. We will also begin to lower humidity by about 3% each week to increase VPD as the plants begin a higher rate of transpiration. We will also do a final clean up of the lower skirts again probably around day 21 (after they have finished their stretch) to ensure energy is directed towards top colas, and to ensure no funny business (herms) are going on underneath which is always a possibility with feminized seeds VPD: 1.22 🌡️: 78 Fahrenheit 💦: 60% 💡: 55% @ 20 inches (550 Ppfd) Just plain tap water until medium is saturated. Currently each lady gets about one gallon of water every 4 days.

It has been a week of snap snap snap! let's call it accidental toppings - yes - multiple. The OG Kush seems to be quite fragile compared to other strains I've grown. Continued LST has resulted in me snapping off the end of the main stem and another major branch. Both days within switching the light regime. Now I have to fill up the net using lateral branches. Initiated flowering with an extended dark period (32hrs) prior to switching light regime at the beginning of the week - this practice is supposed to promote a faster initiation of flowering by the plant. Light green spots and other spots noted on big fan leaves, possibly a calcium or other deficiency. Spots are lighter shade, irregular though some are circular. End up turning bronze colour dust. No pests have been spotted during extensive inspections. The problem remains to older leaves only and doesn't seem to be affecting any new growth. I also think I may have some Nitrogen toxicity due to my CalMag solution having a NPK ratio of 6-0-0. Getting some low N solution this week so hopefully that will address any impact on the flowering stage. The plant still seems to be strong, forming strong branches and massive fan leaves. Growth is being tucked under the net to fill it up. Pruned a few stems and leaves from below the canopy which may never see the light of day. Run-off EC still remains below target. Tracking run-off volume/EC/pH at every fertigation event as I manage the feed EC to monitor what the plant is doing/feeding. Fertigation is maintained now to once a day (at lights on) to maintain the target EC. Some say OG Kush is a mix of ChemDawg with a Lemon Thai and Pakistani Kush. Others say that it’s just a special cutting of ChemDawg from the early 90s. The most obvious trait of OG Kush is its strong, unique, very dank, slightly citrus aroma, almost like fuel or strong detergent. The flavour of OG Kush is equally as strong and dank, with a long-lasting aftertaste. Strong mental and physical high - OG Kush is an extremely strong cannabis strain, with most experienced smokers listing it as one of their favourites. The effect is as strong physically as it is mentally. Though its effect is like an Sativa, the strain's genetics are mostly Indica. The effect is as strong and complex as the flavour. OG Kush takes around 8 weeks to flower and on average the yield is 500 grams per plant.

Cracked a few stems, twisting them 2, 3 points in the main stem and once on each lateral stem, very early monstercropping, cracked the stem without rupturing xylem or phloem channels, minimal recovery, maximum stress and response. There is a new need for significant reinforcement. I know this knuckle will eventually require the throughput of a superhighway. No point in dilly-dallying. Growth grinds to a halt, at least it feels like that. Energy is now distributed fairly evenly to each stem at equal heights and equal light intensity. Growth is not slower; there is just far, far more to do all at once in equal measure, start raising her soil EC up to 1.0mS/cm and maintaining. Upped to 40DLI for now. Temps back in the daytime 87+ range. NPK Raw Grow to keep the soil water solution at 1.0ms/cm, thereabouts. Enzymes and amino acids are applied foliarly to the underside of leaves each night 🌙. Aim to coat the undersides of the leaves where the majority of the stomata are located. Use a spray with smaller droplets to increase the surface area of the leaves that are covered. Adding a surfactant to the mix can help the spray spread better on the leaf surface, improving absorption. Just remember not to add anything immobile.. Heat denatures enzymes. "blah blah what's the point? It's hardly going to do much." Plants have a surprisingly low photosynthetic efficiency, typically converting only 1% to 2% of the total solar energy that hits them into chemical energy. (Too much defoliation and high VPD all night). In fully optimized conditions, that rises to 6%-8% efficiency. Plants may use approximately 25% of their respiratory energy (50% of total respiration) for enzyme turnover, which includes production and repair, but the exact energy cost for heat damage repair is not specific, as the total respiratory energy is not definitively given for plants. Plants generally have a high protein turnover rate, with enzymes making up a substantial portion of this turnover. 10% total ATP is photosynthetically processed. 90% total ATP is processed during cellular respiration. 25% -50% total respiratory energetic output is spent on enzyme turnover (Ballpark). Sounds like it's worthwhile to me. The longer you have waited, the harder you must swing.

Dudes, this girl is butt wild, she won’t stop growing. I had to defoliate her severally times over the course of 2 weeks. I am running out of growing space for her. She measures more than 2x2 (L x W). Drinks more than a gallon of water every 3-4 days. May need to invest in a RO system. However, I am very thankful that shes doing well. This is a GG#4 x Zkittlez by Cream of the crop seeds.

Ich habe den Autopots einige Tage vorher die Wasserzufuhr abgedreht, um sie nicht zu fluten. Für mehr Stabilität habe ich ein zweites Netz reingehängt. Außerdem habe ich zwei ungenutzte PC Lüfter ins Zelt gelegt um für etwas mehr Umluft zu sorgen. Desweiteren wurden einige Blätter entfernt. Die Woche neigt sich dem Ende zu und die Pflanzen sprengen das Zelt. Die Lampe hängt mittlerweile auf Anschlag.

Day 34: Watered with first dose of flowering nutrients (1ml B, 1ml SR). ***I’m gonna break character here for a few mins. If that messes with anyone’s head because you are so deep into the storyline, then you can just pretend this is the director talking. I really wasn’t liking the look of the plant. There was loads of leaves with big very long stems. If it was earlier in the summer I would just put it outside and start another one inside. I don’t have that luxury so I’ll just have to see how it goes. I done some serious defoliation, removing more than 20 leaves. I’m not holding out much hope for a big yield. Day 37: Watered with just PH’d water. Day 39: Watered with Nutrients (1ml B, 1ml SR) ***Character break again. I saw the plant today for the first time in six days. More leaves are after growing big long stems. The few flowers on this plant are topping away nicely. It looks like 3 good bud sites maybe and 2 smaller ones. I have a Rhino Ryder in a 4ltr pot growing next to this Skywalker which looks like it will produce a bigger yield. Either way we have to just see what happens. I’ll hand you back to Luke now for the rest of the grow. Day 40: Continued to use the Force to make the plant grow. This place is really starting to remind me of my time training with Master Yoda on Dagobah. Removed a few leaves with long stems.
