Blue Zushi - Dutch Passion Day 103 - Watered with 3 litres of RO tap water, with defined nutrients, mixed in order (starting with BioGrow and finishing with CalMag) and then pH'd to 6.3. She has bulked up really well and her main stem now requires a little bit of support! She is still bulking in her some of lower bud sites, and has not yet had a colour change, so I will continue to water her with full nutrients until this happens, or when her trichomes start to turn amber 👍🏻 She is so tall that she might need to be harvested in two phases, just to give her lower bud sites more time with higher PPFD. I'll have to manage her nutrients differently than normal, as she won't get a flush for her first phase harvest... I'll figure it out! Most people agree that reducing Nitrogen in the nutrients is enough to remove toxins that affect the flavour and potency of her bud.

Today is a great day here with the papaya bomb cotten candy! I have done a lot of work with this plant and she is lovingggggg it! let me tell you! with everytt branch topped and healed we are looking at a total of 34 coals in the 2x2 to fill her up! I might try to take some clones as she is a simi fast term. And I will be having to make the flip to a 12/12 It wwould be bad asss if I can get some clones from her!!! Lemon pie chose to pop up later than the others (2days) I won’t be topping any autos this run! I will be only low stress training until scrog and then I’ll high stress train if necessary! I’ve given the first feed today of biobizz (doing fastbuds organic the other 3 synthetic) my aim is to keep the veg period vigorous! As a great veg equals great bloom!

Only water for the past week being added to reservoir after nutrients..... Huge intakes... Very big plant.. Very big Buds... I have no idea what the weight will be... But it will big lol... Fucking awesome... All grown with Cheap leds lol well relatively cheap about 400 CAD all said and done on all the lights.. Full 1000 ppfd coverage on this plant with some extra ... There is a method to the madness. Foxtails are genetic related.. As they are present on all parts of the plant. The very tips of all big colas have been circumcised and my buds are all Kosher Now lol. No it helps make for fatter colas and stops some of the long and spindly look from happening.. I'd love to explain to everyone in great detail why the tip clipping is a cool idea especially with a foxtaily strain but if you can't figure it out.... not worth explaining.. Although I just flipped to 12/12 I decided to remove some of the fan leaves to improve light penetration. I also used some rubber bands to create a DIY scrog net with a lot of flexibility. In general the plant seems to be doing fine. In the mid of the week I added some phosphor boost to the regular nutrient solution, because my regular mix doesn't have phosphor at all. Forgot to mention that I dimmed the light to 600 ppfd since the beginning of flower. Also moved the air filter and co. to the top again, because it was getting too hot and dry.

Commencing Week 8: day 50 on January 19th Update is late my sincerest apologies. I will make it up by giving a very thorough smoke report when all is done. Otherwise all is going very well 😁😁👏👏 On day 50 I took the head off of bloody skunk. I checked trichome colors under USB microscope. At least 90% fully milky-white with maybe 5 or 6% Amber and the remainder clear. 😁 On day 55 I gave all of the plants a fan leaf trim including the remaining bottom half of bloody skunk. as I sit here and think about it I believe this will help with ensuring the entire plant ripens and matures at the same time - versus the tops being ready before the bottoms. I still plan on letting the bottoms of all these plants go way beyond the recommended time to see if I can initiate the process of rodelization. Either way I am glad to report that Bloody skunks pollenization looks like it is resulting in some seeds. (See photo). In hindsight my only concern is that because the plant finished a bit earlier than I expected the seeds may not make it to full maturity but I believe it should be okay we'll just have to wait and find out. 6’-4” & 5’-8” as of today, 6’-0” average height. These ladies are beautiful! Everyone who comes by the house just stops and stares when they get near my garden. So do I 👍🤣 I had to move some plants outdoors from my indoor grow due to losing the battle to high heat and humidity. Two are super close to harvest, one might get cut over the weekend. I had a lot of fun with this strain and it was grown against 400 growers so let me say PHENO hunting is a true thing. Overall the Bud was a nice dense structure and the smoke on it was smooth and the high nice and even.

Wedding glue got the chop this week after flushing her all week . The house smells of sweet sweet fruit . Decent harvest looks to be around 10 oz but I’ll find out in a week or so .

I'm now on vacation for 2 weeks so all photos will be from my security camera. From what I can tell my new clones are greening up and putting out some new growth. My blumats had a runaway on day 3... luckily my neighbor was around and was able to slow the drip rate down on my one plant which was starting to flood my box. It has now stopped dripping and my hope is there will be no more hiccups..I will be watching closely over my vacation. 😅🙏
