Sticky Orange XXL

Had to cut out 2 buds last week that had some rot starting. Stopped water 3 days ago. Chopped today due to hot thunder storms predicted for next couple days. Hung in a dark cool basement with a fan not blowing on plants. Amber trichomes were starting to show, before I ended water. Plants look good. 11.6 oz. and 9.7 oz. wet weight.

Willing to grow, strong with resilience. Some problems with fertilizing, had a little problem with burning. I thought it started flowering late, like 6-7 weeks, and that this variety could be ready from seed to plant in 8 weeks is not true. I had to go away so I harvested in the middle of the 14th week and it could have ripened 1-2 more weeks.

She is massiv and easy to grow. Very happy how she turned out. At first I was'nt sure because she needed a long time to get going. the yield is currently at 324g but i have 4 more side branches that i could not havest because my drying net is full and i'm worried it will rot in there. downside all of the buds at the top have some bud rot that had to be discarted. Smelles like oranges but did not stink up the place too much. to be honest i find it very tiresome to harvest.

Erntezeit, Anfang von Woche 14

Heute Mittag standen die nächsten Nachbarn vor der Tür. Habe die Pflanze jetzt endgültig geerntet. Nach dem Wet-Trim standen 115g auf der Waage. Zusammen mit der ersten Ernte sind es zusammen 202g. Nach der Trocknung werden es wahrscheinlich um die 45g werden. Nachdem ich 5 dicke Seitentriebe wegschneiden musste, wären es wahrscheinlich 80-100g mehr gewesen. Hätte ich sie noch etwas länger warten können wären so um die 320-340g geworden. Die Pflanze war leider mäßig resistent. Ich hatte Probleme mit tripsen, Läusen, weiße Fliegen und Bud Rost. Hier sind die dicken Blüten tatsächlich ein Nachteil. Geruchlich stinkt die Pflanze locker für 10. man konnte das Fenster auf den Balkon nicht mehr öffnen, zwei unterschiedliche Nachbarn haben uns schon angesprochen und schon beim einbiegen in die Straße wurde ich geruchlich begrüsst. Das geht halt einfach gar nicht!

Overall i liked grow and smoke it very much. Filled whole 80x80 tent, long and thick stems, was easy to grow with no issues, biggest roots what ive seen my grows, beauty buds with lot of trichs and orange hairs, good smell like orange/mandarin, sweet and little bit floral. Nothing to complain. Smoke: -Potency: 10/10. Relaxing body and calming mind, not sleepy and not too strong but not morning smoke. -Smell: 8.5/10. Orange/mandarin, sweet and hint of floral. -Taste: 9/10. Fresh tropical/orange sweet juice. -Yield. 10/10. 240gr from 1 plant and with scrog would be more i bet. -Bag appeal: 10/10. Good smell, lot of trichs, semi hard buds.

At first I had problems with the seedlings, many with genetic defects and during the outdoor grow I had problems with mold.

Der Pflanze kann man so ziemlich alles antun, was der Anfänger falsch machen kann. Mit genügend Erde wird die Pflanze richtig groß und sehr ertragreich. Auf Grund des limitierten Platzes auf meinem Balkon habe ich die Pflanze zur Kompostanlage gebracht. Die wurden einfach zu groß und ich konnte den Geruch nicht mehr ertragen.

Der erste Grow dieser Sorte :) Alles hat super gut funktioniert, sie hatte kaum Probleme mit irgendwelchen Dingen(Nährstoffmangel etc). Sie riecht seeehr stark und klebt auch doll. Schmeckt würzig, zitronig. Die Wirkung ist sehr entsprechend:) Drückt einen richtig in die Couch also eher stärkeres high. Bin gespannt auf die Ernte der 2 Planze.

She started flowering early, she got perfect in 85 days, could have waited more, but a small pop corn sample bud got me so stoned I decided I don't need any amber on this one. 88 grams final dry weight, for an auto, I am thrilled. Powerfully body relaxation, but yet functional stony feeling, for a busy weekend. I killed 2 seedlings by overwatering , and got some replacement by sensi, (thanks a lot Sensi Seeds), I will for sure run those soon. Overall great auto, grew fast, big, no problems, 88 grams in 85 days, from seed, it is more than a gram a day, for a single plant. 🤩

A perfect strain for my first grow. No real issues and recovered well when I nutrient burned her!

I think this plant could have gone a bit longer but I picked several little caterpillars off her today and was also worried about her getting heat stressed. She's nice and frosty and smells amazing.

C'est une strain résistante et facile à cultiver. Malgré un séjour dans froid elle s'est développée pour produire des têtes bien formées, denses et collantes qui ont pris de belles couleurs. Odeur limitée.

Sticky Orange XXL is a very easy strain to grow. very resistant and she was very hungry, I used a 125% fertilization schedule during flowering. It handled the LST and supercropping well, remained very small (only about 45cm) but rewarded me with many large flowers.

une strain très intéressante olfactivement parlant cependant je ne recommande pas cette variété autoflo pour la culture extérieure 100% car elle demande de très bonnes conditions météorologiques et stables . J'essayerai sans doute a nouveau en intérieur quand j'aurai une tente en ma possession !

Not dried and cured yet. Test smoke very promising. Trichomes cloudy with occasional amber (personal taste).

The plants nevertheless developed well despite the lack of lighting. Their scent is quite powerful and the buds are covered in a very thick white velvet 😛 The objective is therefore achieved, I recommend the sticky orange XXL, it is great in every way 😀

I couldn't have hoped for a better strain to start my cannabis growing adventure. I literally let them starve, didn't add a drop of fertilizer, used only 110W LED lights and small 10L pots with soil enriched at only 50%. Aside from one plant that produced very airy buds with very little substance, all the others are stunning. The size of the buds isn't exceptional, but if I had just tossed the seeds in my garden without paying the slightest attention, the results would be equally satisfying. (Some even had a slight purple hue towards the end of flowering, but the nights are very cold around here, which might have played a role.)

It was a difficult upbringing for me. She was sick, I had a lot of problems. I give neutral as disease resistance because I'm not a professional and I can't give an accurate assessment. The trichomes are milky, there are also some amber and clear, most are cloudy. This is thank you for following me I have a few more plants right now I will try to take better care of them.
