Divine Seeds is a story about cross-cultural collaboration, and apart from that - progressive breeding ideas that gave birth to unique cannabis genotypes, unlike anything seen before. Our journey begins in 2001 - that’s when the future co-founders met each other. But in fact, they had been preparing for this encounter for many years! So, a Canadian geneticist keen on cannabis from one side - and a Post-Soviet biologist with the same scientific interest who was involved into military action in Afghanistan in the 1980s. According to their reminiscences, the Afghani experience was a major influence on the Divine Seeds’ philosophy and policies as well as breeding principles.
In love with the enchanting world of herbs, both canna-experts had similar views on breeding, which were a brand new thing at the time! The two bright minds made a scientific union, starting their never-ending search for the rarest landrace genetics. Simply said, the idea was to explore how far a clever selection process could go, especially if batches from various regions were balanced into a concept, a harmonic unity. Nowadays people familiar with Divine Seeds may believe these high THC and yield figures to have been the initial purpose of the team. In fact, we simply crossed exclusively potent and beautiful varieties together for further refining by means of selection. Some crossings resulted in unbelievably potent champion strains that would've been impossible two decades ago. But our aims, if summarized into a short list, have always been such:

Four ideas, but a lot of work… happily, our experience in Afghanistan wasn’t merely warfare. A lot of Divine Seeds strains originate from strongly sedative and ultra-resinous Afghani landrace cannabis, and most of the original landraces we managed to find only due to friendships and acquaintances made during the 1979-1989 war in that country, famous for its Indica. However, our canna-library was from the very start meant to provide people living in any geographical location with material that would flourish in their local conditions. For this purpose, after almost two decades of numerous genetic experiments and stabilizing we can offer strains of our own design inheriting the best features of top extra-rare landrace genetics coming from: Afghanistan, Pakistan and Kazakhstan, Jamaica, Cuba, Thailand, Brazil, Mexico - there are a lot.

Grew 4 of them in total, she flowers pretty fast, grew like a champ. Can take all kind of training and will keep going strong. A pleasure to grow and got the sativa characteristics (leaves, bud structure).
Buds came out with lots of orange hair and a bit airy (not too much still got that dense feel), a bit a pain for the trimming but worth it! The taste is just great, got that fruity aroma but still a night time kind of feel. Love the taste, in hits or joints. A classic.

Please note that the Rapier was only "partially" harvested. Only the main flower and 3 other flowers were cut. More than 70% of the plant is still growing.

Today we partially Harvest our first "rapier auto" by @Divine_Seeds
We had to do this because the Main-Buds and 3 other Side Buds have almost complete Amber Trichomes. And we dont like it this way ^^
The grow of this Strain whas pure FUN! And we also learnt a lot from her.
The first thing i can tell is that she really loves intense Light or direct Sunshine. And she grows with it very very fast.
Second she needs a lot of PK at the start of the Flowering time.
Also she drink very much Water.. At the end i had to give her Daily about 2L Water.
The smell is something like : You walk through a lemon grove early in the morning at sunrise. And the smell of the lemons, with a large hint of sweetness, comes towards you.
She grows in a 11L Air-Root Pot with a Mix of Soil and Mykkorizea(ONLY ENDO ones..)
Starts under a 240w Full Spec Light with add Blue-Specs..
At Week 3 she whas until the end under a 800w Full-Spec Light with add Green/UV/Far Red/Infra Red Lights.
Also 240w Full Spec Under-Canopy Lights.
When she have more Room to grow (20-40L) im sure she will be a real X-Mas Tree then :-)

Because my next "Divine-Test" will be this Strain but in a 200L Grow Pot :-)

We Harvest this Strain in Week10 now.
Most of the Trichomes are amber.
There are some white pistils but he produce every day some new ones..
So i only look at Trichomes :-)
The smell is pure Gasoline...
You tank your car...Strange , never had it..
It whas a lot of work to harvest him.
Since we cut all Leaves off and then dry the buds.
