Keeps popping on and off because when you set Humidity to, lets say, 55 it pulls air out until it reaches exactly 55. Of coure humidity rises fairliy quickly again so this thing powers off and on and off and on with quite some noise. Doesnt really bother me too much since the growroom is far away from me and others but be aware if thats different for you. Could be smarther imho.

Game changer with the humidity and temperature controls built in to the controller, that decimated the competitions pricing. I think I'll upgrade to the 6" for the summer to trump the expected Mid-Atlantic humidity.
