Sweet Tea is a sativa leaning complex hybrid from three parents: Space Queen, Californian Orange, and Alcatraz OG. This strain was originally bred by TGA Subcool while the modern version was popularised by Seed Junky Genetics. With a THC content of 23%, Sweet Tea is suited for a multitude of purposes, ranging from a wake’n’bake strain to an all day strain for helping you focus on whatever task needs doing. When it comes to flavor and aroma, Sweet Tea gets its name from its flavor which, unsurprisingly, is sweet with tea and lavender, and underlying woody and citrusy notes. Overall Sweet Tea has a pleasant aroma, thanks to its Limonene and Humulene terpenes. Effects of Sweet Tea range from uplifting and euphoric to focused and energetic, even creative. Negative effects include dry mouth and anxiety. Sweet Tea’s medicinal properties help with nausea and pain, as well as anxiety and depression. Growing Sweet Tea may be a difficult task, and the plant requires plenty of space to grow, and outdoors Sweet Tea may reach 11 feet tall, though normally it hovers just around 6 feet, and around half that indoors. Following a 59 day flowering period, Sweet Tea offers a high yield harvest of 475 grams per square meter.
