Black Squid

Black Squid is a new strain by The TenCo, scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2026. It was created by crossbreeding Black Zushi with a specific phenotype of Headbanger (#29), resulting in an Indica-leaning hybrid cultivar that packs quite a punch. The high comes on fast and strong, initially causing a focused and clear-headed mindset with fits of euphoria and a stream of happy thoughts. After a while, though, things turn more introspective and Indica-like, causing deepening physical and mental relaxation that won’t drag you down completely. On the medical side of things, Black Squid is a solid choice for people suffering from depression, chronic stress, and anxiety-related conditions. On the palate, Black Squid delivers a lingering and delicious sensory experience. Expect sour lemon, creaminess, sweet notes, and some gas. No cultivation data or details have been shared to date, but based on the parent strains and the name Black Squid, it’s quite safe to assume that these will be medium-tall plants with a distinctive visual appearance.
