Vamos familia, hora de cosechar estas Biscotti de RoyalQueenSeeds. No veáis que pinta que tienen las flores están bien formadas y repletas de tricomas. Después de 70 días de floración obtengo estas flores tan increíbles que huelen pfff. Es una variedad un poco complicada de cultivar pero, que al final si da sus frutos. Bastante contento con este primer cultivo de la temporada de indoor. The little ones are developing well, unfortunately there are a few minor nutrient problems in the direction of Calmag with the Morello Cherries and also slight signs of this with the TerpyZ Punch. I counteracted this with a foliar spray. The pH value of the hydrosystem has unfortunately dropped a little to 5.5, which I have equalised with ph up from Plagron. The plants are currently getting light between 800-900 ppfd and as soon as the stretch starts, l'll increase this to 1000 ppfd. Both ladies are slowly starting to smell.

Week 21 and 3

So... welcome back! Last week was rather uneventfull. Just the way I like it. They are all getting more substance though. The middle one is more leafy, the two outer ones are more developed and although the biggest buds are maybe only the size of a lighter. Most buds have filled out with calixes and only little leaves. They are dense and compact. The smell is getting heavier. When close to the buds it reminds of expensive herbal perfumes like Rabane. I distinctly have a 'hug from your poppa' kind of association with it and memories start flowing.... It is citrussy but in the ethereal way, it is spicy in the 'spicetrader' way, a mixture of ginger, cinnamon, black pepper, with a huge funky basetone. This combined, its as if a master perfumer had composed an exquisite fragrance. The funk of an attick full of weed to serve as the musky base undertones upon which, a layer of earthy spices, upon which a floral and citrussy fresh layer. It is bloody amazing and I wished ya'll were with me to smell it and taste it when the time has come. I want to exersize patience but my god this smells better than any weed I recently acquired and we have some excellent dispensaries here. So I've started giving them up to 4 ltrs ( a gallon) of water each, every two days or so. They seem to need it, no drooping but also bonedry earth till deep in the pot. SInce two days ago with less feed and today only the Biobizz Topmax and PH correction. Although not really convinced of flushing, Im trying it to see if I get a more pure taste and experience. So trichomewise I find it hard to see, my magnifier is not strong enough to see the individual trichomes. I do see area's on leafedges etc that seem more amber, trichomes look milky from this distance but have get a better magnifier to get better view. On the images I see that there are many clear ones and not many ambers so we have some weeks to go which is correct according to Advanced Seeds, this Gelato #33 Fast has to flower 45 to 55 days, We are on day 39... The plant itself seems utterly healthy. Some white points and very little heatstress from checking absolute minimum for these lights. You don't know until you find out. For anyone else looking for reviews on Rubol V3 100 watt QB's in a three in a row setup, with 10 cm spacing between each board, the minimal distance is 28 cm or one foot, when flowering, gradually lowering to this point btw. These lights are excellent, good value for money and with the two years of waranty a good investment. Also great service from Justin at www.rubol.nl. They are helpfull, considerate and very knowledgable. So far so good, the grand finale is coming in just one or two weeks and I want to thank you for taking time and read all this, everybody who had advice and answered my growquestions, wish you were here for the harvestparty and may your harvest be bountifull!! Once again GALACTIC buds! And once again cant add the comment lol

So in just the last week, the plants already doubled. GSC went from 11 to 22". Widow went from 8 to 14". Gelat.og went from 10 to 18". GSC seems to want to grow up quickly. Huge growth spurt. Flowered after 3 days. Flowers are developing well meanwhile the other two are just showing a few tendrils. Hopefully an uneventful week.

Day 52____________________________ - Not much has changed from last week. Just fighting with the trellis net keeping everyone held down. - pH has been strange recently. I’ve been used to the pH raising as the week goes by, but in the past week or so, pH has dropped. Used to try to keep it at 5.6 and it would slowly turn to 6.0, but a few mornings I’ve checked it, it’s been at 5.4 or 5.3, so I’ve adjusted pH to 5.8, and am just monitoring it closely. - Checking root health has been a struggle as the trellis net kinda keeps everything held down. Removed the net to make sure nothing was getting caught in the drain tubes and make sure no root rot is happening and re-installed. - Starting to get super stinky when the stems are touched Day 55____________________________ - Plants were in desperate need of some under canopy clean up. Removed lots of fans shadowing and lower, weaker branches. Noticed a few leaves not looking so hot that we’re laying on top of net pot. Assuming it’s just from being neglected. Keeping an eye on nute levels and pH just in case. Day 56____________________________ - Removed a few other fan leaves once plant repositioned itself after messing with ScrOG. - Installed small fan blowing through newly opened up under canopy to help plant breath. - Will need a bigger Dehumidifier if opening up the under canopy doesn’t help bring down moisture. Set to 45%, expecting to get closer to 55%, but still seeing times with 75% or higher. It’s averaging out to 63%, which isn’t terrible, but I know I’ll need more juice soon anyway Day 56____________________________ - First pistils are showing!!! Day 57____________________________ - Decided to throw my Amazon.com dehumidifier in the dumpster. It would run all day and only pull a few teaspoons of water from the air. Got a hold of a nice GE unit that can handle 70 pints per day of dehumidification. I have literally zero clue if that’s a lot or not, but it’s 6 times the size of my old one, so I’m sure it’ll do fine.

Have been practically fizzing this week knowing the end is nigh for lady No1. Ended up giving her an extra day, mainly to prove to myself I could but was up early the next morning resolved to chop. Dismantled her branch by branch but only took the big fan leaves off hoping it will help her dry slowly and ended up with a nice collection of flowers. I’m pretty chuffed to how she has turned out although I know it’s not a massive yeald. Have learned loads though and already planning on what I’m going to change for next time. Thanks to all who’ve shared the benefit of wisdom, the forum has helped immeasurably. Will be back after she’s lost some moisture with a weight check and maybe a cheeky premature smoke report. Thanks gang xx Update: I managed to leave it drying for 13 days in total before taking the scissors to it for the jar. All told weighed in at 33g and as I’m not going to start lying to you now have to admit to being a little disappointed with that. Not sure if my expectations were too high or if it’s because of my novice status ( or more likely both) but still grateful for what I did mange to produce which I have to admit seems decent quality which I believe will only get better with a decent cure. Now just need to stop carrying the jar around like a cradled infant and find somewhere dark and cool for it to rest. X
