Howdy doody folkeroonies! decided to chop the one which was showing some brown trichomes. Glad i did as finally have enough room in the grow tent without everything squishing together! I’ve got it drying in a box. Not sure if no airflow is an issue, I've asked this in Questions. One of the GSC’s is a little purple, brown. So nice looking and fat buds too!! Going away for 2 nights so planning on flushing all tomorrow morning before heading off. 1 plant chopped, 3 left to go. Probably another 2 weeks max before they’re all chopped.

Well, it's finally time for an update, right? And for a newbie like me this week has been quite eventful! 😲 After last week's "Helmet Head" (which I suppose was my fault for not burying the seed deep enough 😱) her leaves started to look twisty, Honestly don't know why that happened but my three hypothesis are: because that's just the way she is, because I didn't properly bury the seed or I made a mistake somewhere else. However I also think she looks pretty and this makes her look quite "special" 👍. In her 6-7th day after sprouting I noticed her leaves started to look even more twisty and she was about to outgrow her cup. I worried and decided that it was the right moment to transplant her. At first I didn't know "how" to do it and all I knew is that I could shock her if I did it wrong (which worried me haha 😨). None of the sites I checked really specified any kind of information regarding how I should prepare the medium for the new plant (just some vague information here and there) so I came with the idea to just water it bit and then "massage" the soil to avoid making it "lumpy" and I feel it did work out well in the end! I feel I didn't shock her much and in her second day she was growing even more as well! Nice! 😍 Next week I'll start feeding Puff with some nutrients but the PPM of the tap water where I live is somewhat high (around 600) and it's electroconductivity is around 1200 us/cm but a lot of growers in here still use it (they just wait for chlorine to evaporate) so I'll try doing the same. I'll use half dose of Biobizz Bio Grow and half dose of another product called Gold Sunshine from Quemanta (which is Cal-Mag with some amino acids) and see how things develop! 😃 I'll try to see if I can make my DSLR take the photos for future timelapses, because my webcam sucks for that job! Trichs seem to be further along then last grows, I can only assume the extra light and/or higher heat has cause them to finish a bit faster. Right now we are sitting on a majority of 70% cloudy, literally only a couple ambers through out. Wanting to harvest a little earlier this grow, hopefully day 59 or 60. Sooooo, 10-11 more days till chop. Day 51 Starting a flush, drained and filled with tap water, 2mL/L of flushing agent to help dissolve/bind salts. 3 hour cycle runtime with flushing agent. Drain/fill with high quality ROH2O, pH’d, H202 for disinfection.

March 29, 2024 Day 43 This week will focus on watering and light intensity. Training is done for the most part. At least the structures are on point. Now it's just a matter of keeping the canopy level. So far everything looks great! There's a couple branches on each plant that aren't quite as tall yet, but they are strong. I expect them to grow quickly very soon. The plants are 14" tall now and will definitely be taller by the end. If I'm right, I should get a height of 24" to 36" total. Unless both stunt somehow, but I don't think so. Anyway, just by the health and current growth time and amount, I can expect some robust plants. The buds are going to be super heavy. Just by looking at the bud structure now, tells me I'm going to have to fat dense and sticky weedy do. I changed the lighting as I was scheduled to do today. The light was at 22" from the plants growth. For the week, I reset the light height back to 24" and increased the light power back up to 90%. The DLI is 44 mol/m²/d. PAR should be around 675 ppfd. However, as I said at the beginning of the grow, I focus on DLI over everything else. PAR is fine, I just prefer the DLI. It tells me more I think. As it's a new week, watering needed some maintenance. I cleaned out the other reservoir and filled it up with the new nutrient regimen. That includes the B-52 today and Sensizym next watering for when it gets here. I had to look up a good feeding schedule specifically for autoflowers and advanced nutrients. As the time is all wrong with BudLabs. It's designed for Photoperiods only. So things needed to be adjusted. For example, I'll be starting Big Bud later this week as it calls for week 2 of flower with a photoperiod. But the schedule I found makes more sense and calls for the Big Bud a week earlier. Anyway, it's a good schedule. Just makes sense. The environment will be staying the same this week. 77° and 55%. In the next 2 weeks, I'll drop the temp down to 75° with the humidity at 50%. Then I'll drop it weekly until I get to the final week. I'll drop the temp down to 73° and the humidity down to 40%. 35% if I can manage. However, I'm not all that worried about 40% to 45%. The space is extremely clean and the room itself is really dry. So no worries. So, now that the auxiliary branches are just as tall as the side branches, Banana Purple Punch B has an extremely level canopy. The branches have all caught up to the top and everything is looking great! Banana Purple Punch A is doing the exact same thing. They are both the same height. I wonder if that is the plants keeping up with each other. Like a reaction to the other plants in the tent? Who knows. This is my first completely level canopy for all 4 plants. Very happy so far. As long as none of them take off, we should see a beautiful ocean of fat buds throughout the whole tent. Grow System Environment: Temp: 76.0° RH: 53.8% VPD: 1.38 kPa March 30, 2024 Some notable information today. I'm very curious about this, so if anyone knows what's up, leave me a comment. Thanks! Banana Purple Punch A is taking in way more water than Banana Purple Punch B. I believe now it has to do with the roots. The bottom of the container for Banana Purple Punch A is FILLED with roots, while Banana Purple Punch B doesn't have any roots showing yet except for the bottom outside of the container. I thought the roots would have shown up by now. The thing is though, Banana Purple Punch A is still roughly the same height as the rest of the plants in the tent, but clearly is further along than the rest. Not saying she isn't growing, she is. It's just that she should be stretching like crazy right now and she isn't. The canopy is staying level. I will say that the Tropicana Cookies sharing the tent is slight taller and stretchier. It's ok though, the SCroG net is going up at 18" from the container base. Anyway, it's kind of confusing how these two plants are growing in such a different way, but not any bigger or smaller than the other. Insight please. Lol. Both ladies got a haircut today. Just clearing out the massive leaves that grew and some of the outside leaves to keep them in their own quadrant. It worked wonders. No stress, no issues so far that I can see. I also had to lift the light a couple inches today. The DLI was actually a bit higher than I wanted and it showed last night with one of the plants. A bit droopy before lights out. That tells me there's too much light in that one quadrant. So the light went up to 25" from the canopy. I could drop the power level, but I really like this footprint. Dead center of the tent is around 48 mol/m²/d while the outside is at 43 mol/m²/d. What a spread. Honestly though, I really want a bar style light setup. One for a 4x4 so it fills the whole 3x3 tent. Back to watering. Banana Purple Punch A got a full gallon today. She's drinking a half gallon a day now. I also realized the nutrient schedule I'm using doesn't have the Tasty Terpenes in it. So I started that today as well as the big bud. I also increased the Cal/Mag dose from 4 ml to 8 ml. Big Bud and Tasty Terpenes are both at 4 ml/gal. I also added this week's dose of Recharge. HOWEVER... The PH was Way off. Down to 5.4, so I dosed the shit out of it with PH Up. I got to 6.18 and that's where I stopped. The nutrients are supposed to be PH Perfect, but adding something slammed it down. So I'll start to PH before adding nutrients. Then I hopefully won't have to dump 3 ml of PH Up in a gallon of water. However, I will say the PH in our tap water is ridiculously high at like 8.2, so that may be a factor. But shouldn't the high PH balance out the PH with nutrients? No real clue what happened. It doesn't make sense. It definitely has to be one of the new nutrients. When I do another mix, I'll PH after each nutrient. That way I can see which nutrient is messing up my perfection. I've also read that a PH of 6.5 to 7 is ideal for the flowering stage. Is this correct? If so, how the hell do I get the PH to increase more? Or is my PH meter out of calibration? Damn, things I need to learn. Moving on. The environment is a bit off. The temp is kinda high at 79.5°. However, the humidity is perfect at 55%. Unfortunately the temp is throwing the VPD way off. It's now 1.50 kPa where it should be around 1.33 kPa. I'm trying to fix it, but it takes time. It should be fine by this afternoon. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.9° RH: 54.5% VPD: 1.35 kPa March 31, 2024 Not much to do today. The plants are doing their thing. Banana Purple Punch A drank about a half gallon from yesterday's reservoir top off. She'll definitely need to be watered tomorrow though. In which case I'll be adding the Sensizym. However, Banana Purple Punch B needs a reservoir refill today. Not first thing, but maybe just after noon. The reservoir is nearly empty, not enough to fill, but enough to be completely dry tomorrow. That can't happen with this system, so I'll have to refill today. I'd also like to note the lack of roots on Banana Purple Punch B. There are none. I'm really confused now. One would think the roots would be through by now. I hope they didn't just stop there. Hopefully I start seeing them in the next couple days. Banana Purple Punch A has roots through everywhere. Honestly, it seems as though growing in my setup with my techniques extends the veg time. That's the only thing I can think of. The lack of roots shows lack of growth. But it's an Indica dominant phenotype. Maybe the root system just takes longer. But she's definitely in flower. Still waiting for the stretch to start, by the way. They are both 14.5" now with yesterday being 14". That's not stretching. I seriously cannot have small and big plants together in this size tent. Maybe if it were a 4x4, it would be fine, but a 3x3 is much smaller... Weirdly enough.... and for 4 plants, there just isn't that type of space. I'll will absolutely implement the SCroG net if things get out of control. I'd rather not use it yet though. I still want to be able to pull them out and clean out the reservoirs and check over each plant thoroughly. At least until I need the net. But really only to keep the tops from falling over. But training has stopped for these ladies. I don't have anymore horizontal space to train them out. But I have plenty of vertical space. Maybe they will only grow to 24" after all. We shall see. Either way, I'm going for quality, so regardless of the size, everything is in order. Maybe they average on the smaller side. Still, they have really packed buds already popping up. They will definitely be super dense. I didn't move the light today. No point. The plants are very happy and reaching slightly. Just a nice little prayer. The environment is really good. Sticking at 55% humidity and the temp has been steady between 76° and 79°. Very nice. The VPD is happy as well. Grow System Environment: Temp: 77.4° RH: 54.6% VPD: 1.43 kPa April 1, 2024 Not much to do today. Banana Purple Punch A got her full gallon top off. I also got the Sensizym in so that went in as well. Also, I need to calibrate my PH meter. It seems to be reading low. Maybe. It's reading 5.4 with PH Perfect Nutrients. I also added a full 1 ml of PH up. It brought it up to 5.49. No idea what's happening. Both plants grew a couple inches last night. Now they are at 16" tall. Let the stretch begin! Banana Purple Punch B is just hanging out. Still not drinking as much as her sister plant, but still very healthy and happy. The roots aren't showing either. Still confused by that. I had to cut a couple leaves off each plant today. Just a bit of overcrowding. Like 2 leaves each. Not much, obviously, but it's still important to notate. And good to keep up with the leaf coverage. I raised the light nearly 2" today. It was too close, and the DLI was close to 50 mol/m²/d with the center being 58 mol/m²/d. Now the DLI is sitting pretty at 45 mol/m²/d with the inside being closer to 50 mol/m²/d. However, I have an advantage. The center of the tent is not filled in totally. I did this on purpose to keep the light intensity fairly even throughout the canopy. (I really need to get a bar style light.) The environment is pretty good today. It's a smidge off. The temp is cooler at 75° with the humidity being closer to 58%. So the VPD is slightly off at 1.20 kPa. It should adjust accordingly in the next few hours as it has been. However, the daily average is right on point. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.4° RH: 55.2% VPD: 1.31 kPa April 2, 2024 A bit to do today. No watering or anything, but I did some defoliation and raised the light an inch. Banana Purple Punch A got a bit more trimmed off than I had originally intended, but I wasn't off by the mark completely. So it should be all good. She also grew another 2 or so inches and is now a bit taller than her sister plant at 19". Not much, but enough for me to notice. She looks great! Roots galore, beautiful green color. Fat buds and a wonderful aroma. She is 19" and still stretching. Let's see what she turns out to be. Banana Purple Punch B also got a haircut. She definitely needed it. In 2 days, she completely filled back out and needed to be opened up a bit. As I said before, I have stopped training, so if she doesn't catch up, which she may, I'll have to lift her up to the canopy. She's 18" now. An inch or so shorter than Banana Purple Punch A. However, she finally has roots showing throughout the bottom of the container. Nothing crazy, but lots of them popping up. It should be a matter of a couple days and those roots should be pretty long and sucking in water like crazy. Maybe not as much as her sister plant, but much more than she is now. Also, I think she may end up being a much more robust plant than her Banana Purple Punch A. The roots took longer to hit bottom and that may mean the root ball is already massive. That being said, I can hopefully expect her to take off and catch up to the rest of the occupants in the tent. Like she's setting up to stretch. The light definitely needed to be raised again. It was all the way down to 22". I may raise it again if I don't see praying. Anyway, I dropped the DLI back down to roughly 45 mol/m²/d. It should be good now. But may be a tiny bit too high. I'll see what happens in the next couple hours. The environment is pretty good today with the temp hovering around 76° and the humidity at 55%. The average for the day looks great as well. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.2° RH: 58.2% VPD: 1.18 kPa April 3, 2024 Today has been enlightening. The plants weren't reaching this morning. That meant the light was too close. So I lifted it up AGAIN. I'm running out of space between the light and the exhaust fan. I still have a good 6" or so left. I can also lower the power level if need be. Both ladies got reservoir refills today. Banana Purple Punch A was still a out half full, but Banana Purple Punch B was empty. So now that they are the same level and seem to be drinking roughly the same amount now, they should drink evenly now. Banana Purple Punch A is about 21" with Banana Purple Punch B slightly behind at 20". Either way, they are growing quite nicely. The stretch is in full swing now. I may have to put the SCroG up afterall. Some of the tops in the canopy are starting to take off. I'll install it tomorrow when my side bar support gets here. The lighting, as I said, needed to be raised up again. The DLI was up to 50 mol/m²/d and now I have it back down to 45 mol/m²/d. I also have the light distance just above to 24". Should be good for now. The environment is a bit off today. It's raining and the humidity is a bit high even with the dehumidifier on. The humidity is stuck around 59% with the temp staying around 75°. Hopefully it adjusts in the next couple hours. I may have to turn my main dehumidifier on. It doesn't work the best, but it should be fine. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.6° RH: 56.2% VPD: 1.29 kPa April 4, 2024 Not a lot going on today. I got my side bars in and mounted the SCroG net. Some of the tops are noticably taller than the others, so they needed to be taken care of. No watering today. The reservoirs still have water in them. They might not need water tomorrow. I'll see how things go. I didn't move the light today as I am pushing the tops down some. I may have to turn the power down a bit if they stretch as tall as I hope, but that would be a good thing. I'll just make sure to use the supplemental lighting I have for the tent. The environment is actually pretty good today. The temp is 76° and the humidity is at 55%. The VPD is basically perfect at 1.33 kPa. So everything looks pretty good from here. I'll start dropping the humidity down more in a week or so. Just after the stretch. Wow she's still growing nicely!! 27cm more this week! She's looking nice.

This plant was an absolute dream to. Grow, no issues at all with health of plant, just struggled to tame her as she was a a thick strong climber 💪💪. I'm so impressed with how this turned out, I could have flushed for another 3 days to make it 12days but I needed the space. After The 2 days of dark I was recommended I can definitely say it has vastly boosted her trichomes and the smell when I opened the tent blew my head away 😍😋 Aiming for a 10-14 day hang dry, The 10-12 weeks curing in jars with humidity packs. I will update with a dry bud weight and smoke test 👌 Bud wet weight is just 500g+ Final bud dry weight is 298g. Of juicy resinous purple and orange buds 😍 smells like sherbert and hang dry smoke test revealed a candy sherbert, no banana yet but hoping like the grow it matures with cure process now. Hits eyes straight away, sandy bottom kids, giggles, munchies, fun time with Mrs, bed. Full cycle with this one very happy over here 😉😁💚 FAT BANANA AUTO FROM ROYAL QUEEN SEEDS, big thank you to the team, and the breaders. What a pheno I received. I appreciate you all

So far so good - starting to move indoors at night as the overnight lows are dipping to 5 degrees C- just a bit too cold!! Daytime temps still between 20-25 so still good for life outdoors during the day 💚💚

Crescono rapidamente,resistono agli afidi e alcune sfiorano il metro di altezza, tutte insieme sembrano una mini foresta! Iniziano a fiorire gradualmente ed essendo molto diramate tutte è spettacolare nel vederle! Appare la prima resina e sono in ottima salute. Sono felice fino ad adesso perché se guardate foto e video vi rendete conto che qui nel centro Italia in outdoor biologico abbiamo il migliore clima che si possa desiderare anche se questo 2023 fino a metà maggio ha piovuto tantissimo e ci sono stati sbalzi di temperatura, ciò non è stato un problema per queste varietà così forti e abbondanti! Adesso la magia è iniziata, il caldo è arrivato e non vedo l'ora di vederle piene di infiorescenze tutte! Si procede felicemente, un abbraccio a tutti!

Steady growth this week :) Noticed a funky split branch that looks kinda like it topped itself, though that was pretty cool! Been trying to keep the lower part of the plant clean but since I have space I'm not being too brutal with chopping lower bud sites. The HPS gives good penetration and I'm keen to see if I can maximise the yields - not sure this craziness is the best way to achieve that but gosh darnit I'm gonna do my best

We’ll week ten is here and I’m amazed to say the least. The girls are doing wonderful. Getting sticky and thick. Probably going to start flushing the zkittles and purple lemonade here in the next day or so. Most of the tricomes are milky noticed one or two ambering. The blackberry has another week I believe. They all smell amazing. Can’t wait to smoke them!

B.A.C. schedule goes on with bloom week 6 : a bit more PK Booster again and no more Final Solution. Motherplant looks better after a massive plain water watering, I'll alternate nutritive solution / plain water for now. Clones buds' are getting fatter, faster than motherplant ones, and a few big leaves are yellowing. There are trichromes everywhere and smell is more powerfull. 2023/04/12 : first check on trichromes... there are already amber ones on clones' leaves, not yet on flowers. Mother plant is a bit late, only clear and cloudy trichromes for the moment. I would say 2 to 3 weeks before harvest.😊

May 3, 2024 Day 78 This week is the last week of nutrients before a week or so of flushing. I'm still not seeing any fade, but most of the buds are turning a beautiful purple pink color. At least on Tropicana Cookies. Tropicana C isn't quite there yet. Maybe a few days behind. Some purple is starting to show though. No watering for today. I have the reservoirs full of diluted nutrients. I added a half gallon of plain PHed water yesterday. However, these plants aren't taking in much. The soil is getting saturated and the plants aren't drinking as much. I think it may be nutrient lockout. Or just the age of the plants. They slow down when nearing the end. How near, I don't really know. Maybe a week or so before harvest? Either way, the soil moisture used to be around 49% to 51% saturation. Now it's at 57% which has been unheard of through the whole run. I just can't tell which problem it is. Tropicana Cookies looks great! Lots of bud through the whole plant, not big, but getting denser and slightly fatter. As I said before, her buds are getting super purple with tons of orange pistils. The trichomes are a mix of clear, cloudy and amber. Mostly clear and cloudy with amber being about 5% throughout. Tropicana C looks great as well. One top is leaning hard and no wonder. It's covered top to bottom is dense bud. Still not big buds by any stretch of the imagination, but they seem hard as rocks. I haven't felt them to find out. I'll figure that out on trimming day after drying. She doesn't have the purple coloring like her sister, at least not yet. Some buds are starting to show the purple, but nowhere near as much. The lighting will be changed at some point within the week. Maybe closer to the end of the week. The light is far away enough where I shouldn't get any trichome issues. I definitely won't be getting light stress at all, so I may leave the light as it is for as long as I can. The environment is still a little wonky. The temp is the same, hovering between 75° and 76°. I'm doing my best to keep it under 77° as 78° can cause a potential breakdown of trichomes. Gotta be careful at this crucial time. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.2° RH: 55.0% VPD: 1.23 kPa May 4, 2024 May the 4th be with you! Star Wars all the way! A little bit of a thing for these two today. First, I need to comment on how purple these buds are getting. Second, I think they only have days left. Maybe a week. But based on how they look and their trichomes, I wouldn't be surprised if they were ready in 5 days. That being said, I think it's time to start flushing. There are a couple reasons I think they are almost ready. For one, they have nearly all orange pistils. Just a few colas here and there. They still have a decent amount of white, but they will be gone later today if not tomorrow. The trichomes are a good 60% cloudy, 30% clear and about 5% amber. I'm leaving 5% out for margin of error. Finally, this could also be a lockout, they are taking significantly less water. At this stage it is to be expected, but I do have a nutrient issue with both of them. So it could be that as well. Or a combo of the two. All that being said, I think it's safe to say they are ready for flushing. Tropicana Cookies is noticably stronger than her sister, or her buds are just heavier. But, this lady has no hard leaning branches. Some leaning a bit inward, but that was how I trained them. On the other hand, Tropicana C has quite a few branches leaning hard. I had to prop one up against a stronger cola to keep it up in place. Another is leaning inward so I have that propped between 2 other colas to prevent light blockage. Both plants look kinda terrible right now with top leaves having spots everywhere from too much of something. Or lack of Phosphorus? Something. I need to learn this stuff. I think the lesson learned here is to make sure to time everything properly and not pay attention to every detail in a feeding schedule. The one I used was based on 3 weeks of veg and 6 weeks of flower. I had 5 weeks of veg and am now on week 6. Flowering seems to be on point, but the longer veg stage messed me up. So I will be following the feeding schedule provided by Advanced Nutrients. Just cut the nutrients way down. The light power will be dropped this week. I plan on dropping it 10% mid week and another 10% by the end of the week. The DLI should drop back down to 40 mol/m²/d inside and 38 mol/m²/d outside. By end of week, I plan to have the DLI down to 38 mol/m²/d. However, I have 2 other plants in the tent that are about a week behind these two. So I may have to change my plans for lighting and leaves it up for the rest of the week and drop it down to 38 mol/m²/d next week. But I don't think I have more than a week left. Oh well. I also won't be able to run a dark period. The plants are too big to fit in a 2x2 tent. So they will be harvested right away. I'll just keep the temp down below 75° for the rest of the week. The other strain is Banana Purple Punch, so it should benefit from the lower temps as well. I shouldn't have any trouble with mold or anything. The plants come out of the tent everyday and the airflow is fantastic. So the high humidity shouldn't be much of an issue. I'll do everything I can to drop it as much as possible anyway. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.1° RH: 57.9% VPD: 1.19 kPa May 5, 2024 A bit to do today. Both ladies need top offs. Tropicana Cookies much less so. Tropicana C is almost empty while Tropicana Cookies is about half full. She has to be super close to harvest. The trichomes show it as well. Not quite there, but almost. That being said, I'm switching to Flawless Finish for the rest of the grow. They will need about a week of flushing and then I think they will be done. Tropicana Cookies is looking great! Her buds swelled up to an acceptable size. They definitely aren't nearly as big as my Gorilla Cookies, but that was an insane plant. Anyway, I'm not seeing any signs of fading. Just nutrient burn. However, I rarely get fade. Maybe it will start later this week. Anyway, I'll have to clean the reservoirs out. I may have to do that today. Just plain water though, then next watering will be Flawless Finish. Tropicana C is definitely putting on weight. Her colas are starting to pull more and more branches down. Leaning everywhere. I have 2 that will completely fold over, so I have to wrap them around other branch leaves to lock them in place. Her buds aren't purple though. It's starting to come through now, but nowhere near as her sister plant. However, her pistils are like glowing orange. Beautiful. She still has a good 40% white pistils. I like to see a minimum of 75%, but I rely mostly on the trichomes. Regardless of color, she is still quite the beauty. Both ladies are extremely strong to the nose now. Even with my exhaust fan at 100% power, it still doesn't pull all the smell out. It's could also be the combo of these two and the two Banana Purple Punch plants in there tent as well. Either way, they look and smell great! The lighting will have to stay where it is for the rest of the week. I don't think it will be a problem. I have the light 24" away from the plants and shouldn't have any stress at all. The reason being is those two Banana Purple Punch plants. They still have a good 10 days left while these two only have about 5 to 7 days left. So it will stay exactly where it is. The environment is driving me nuts. I can't for the life of me get the humidity to stay below 60%. I swear it's the gods messing with my shit. Lol. The temp is still controllable. I want to bring it to 74°, but then I risk higher humidity. But if I crank the heat, the temp could get too high and damage the trichomes. What a sticky place to be. I'll just have to open the door periodically throughout the day while this humidity is out of control. Tropicana Cookies looks great! She's very close to harvest. I'll be checking trichomes again in 2 days. I'd say 5 days left on her. She just needs more amber trichomes. And she could do with less clear trichomes. Although, the majority of them are cloudy, this is an indica dominant strain. So I like a little more amber than that of a sativa. Honestly, it levels out the harvest time. Sativa's take slightly longer so less amber means less time. More amber on the indica strains takes slightly longer than their shorter lifespan. So they tend to level out for harvest time. Also, what I thought was more damage to the leaves, I'm starting to think it's the start of the fade. Even with the Flawless Finish flushing out the extra nutrients, the leaves are still showing "damage". So maybe it's the start of senescence? Or residual nutrients still in the soil. Probably that now that I think about it. It will take days for the issue to subside. I'd also like to note that the damaged leaves aren't crispy at all. They still feel like they are very healthy. So instead of cutting them off like I planned, I'm going to leave them on and use them for a timeline for the rest of the plants. Tropicana C also looks great! Her branches are bending over all over the place. Just the outside ones and taller colas. They may be small buds, but they are solid and a plethora of them. I'm finally seeing purple. So she is definitely the same phenotype, just got slightly delayed by probably 3 days or so. I'd say give this one another 5 to 7 days. It's could be up to 10 days which is no big deal as I have other plants in the tent that won't be done for another week or 2. So I'm not too worried. Both ladies have a crisp and fruity aroma. Even though it's a crispy smell, it's strong and engulfs the smell gland things in a citrus, sweet, fruity, I guess gassy and earthy aroma. They aren't taking as much water in anymore, so it's definitely nearly time. I don't really see it doing much right away. As I said earlier, Tropicana Cookies is still advancing in the nutrient burn. Maybe it was a deficiency the whole time? Someone mentioned missing Phosphorus which I think is Big Bud that I used at the complete wrong time. We aren't changing the light at all. The other 2 plants in the tent need it to be where it is for another week, and these 2 should be done in an week or less. The environment is still wonky with the temp at 75° and the humidity at 58% and bouncing into 60%. I managed to get my room down to 48% earlier, but now it's up to 52%. I'll have to do my best to keep up with the temperature in the tent. Try to keep it below 75° if I can. Also, I really cannot get the temperature to drop below 67° at night. The average is and has been 68° for the majority of the grow. However, last night's humidity was absolutely insane with an average of 67%. I really can't stand weather sometimes. It's a good thing I pull my plants out everyday and inspect them. Otherwise I think I'd have some mold issues. So far we are good to go. I'm also opening the tent periodically throughout the day to let more dry air in and clear out the moisture to room level. I might top off the reservoirs tonight, but mostly tomorrow. So leaf damage continues to spread. I swear this better be senescence. It's weird, because it's spotty. All over the place. Like not rust, but yellow and orange. It still looks like leaf damage to me. I don't know. As I've said before, I don't get a lot of fade from my plants, so I'm not really sure what to look for. for example is this spotting. The timing is right for senescence, but I'm not really seeing solid color change. Is that "fade"? I can't see it as fade. It still looks like damage. I guess I'll see what happens over the next few days. Tropicana Cookies looks great! Her buds are almost all purple now. Some of the lowers are still green, but I don't expect the whole plant to turn purple. However, it may happen over the next few days. Tropicana C is weighing down a ton of tops now. They are falling over like dominos. Some are bending half way over. The tallest one has essentially collapsed under its own weight. I used some plant ties to hold it up with other tops. I had to weave a couple tops together just to keep them from falling over when I placed it back in the tent. Then they untangled and flopped over against the other plants and tent wall. A promising sign of some super dense buds. Considering how small they are, they must be heavy indeed. Super dense. I can't wait! The smell is so strong now that it's permeating through my air sealed door into the rest of the house when the tent is open. I even have the exhaust fan, that runs to the outside of the house, at full power. And an AC unit that exhausts outside as well. Still the smell is wonderfully overwhelming. Excellent! Lighting is staying the same until the end of the week. Then I'll be dropping it down to 36 mol/m²/d for the rest of the grow. It's to accommodate the other strain in the tent. The environment is getting better. The humidity my room dropped down to 42%, so the humidity in the tent dropped to 54%. Not good at all, but much better than 60%+ for days. The temp is at 76°. We only have pictures today. I'll do a video for next week. Speaking of next week, after checking the trichomes, I believe these two will be done by the end of next week. I know I'm pushing it off a bit, but they just aren't ready yet. Tropicana Cookies has started to fade. Her sugar leaves and some of the fan leaves are developing beautiful dark purples. The rest of the leaves are starting to lighten up as well. We are looking super good. Tropicana C on the other hand is a bit behind. I'd say 3 days maybe 4. No idea why, but she is. Also, her branches have to be weak AF to be bending all over the place. The buds aren't that big or heavy. So yah, just a weak plant. Definitely from my nutrient regimen. She smells great though and she is getting more purple in her buds, so she will hopefully turn out like her sister plant with super bright purple buds. I think they are the same phenotype, so this one should turn purple too. I think. One issue I may run into is timing. I need to harvest both plants at the same time so I can fit the 4 sour diesels I have in the 3x3 with the other 2 that are currently going. It might be a tight call. If they are indeed 4 days apart, I may overdo it with Tropicana Cookies and possibly underdog it with Tropicana C. We shall see. The lighting is just going to stay the same. There's no point in dropping it now. The other plants in the tent still need it and these 2 are so close to being done, it really won't matter. The environment is a nightmare. I cannot get the humidity below 60% now. It may go down later this afternoon, but not enough. It's maddening. I'll just keep opening the tent every couple hours to let fresh air in, even though the exhaust fan is running full speed. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.0° RH: 57.6% VPD: 1.19 kPa May 9, 2024 It's the last day of week 11 and we are embarking on the final few days. Nothing to do today, but there are a few notes I'd like to make. Tropicana Cookies has mere days left. Her buds are almost all purple now from top to bottom. Not only that, but the leaves are also turning purple. Some of the bigger fans leaves are starting to fade. It started with the damaged ones and is slowly working through the other leaves. Just a few at a time. Something I noticed is how much water her container is holding. I may have to pull the wicks. I guess it makes the most sense. I'll do that later today. Mostly because the bottom of the container is dripping saturated. I'm worried it will cause some last minute over watering issues. Tropicana C is falling all over the place. And I mean all over. She has some weird bud growth as well. Some of the tops bent over, but not only that, folded over themselves where the tops are now facing the bottom of the container. It looks like I missed something when placing the plant back in the tent. It's just strange how she is doing this and the other one isn't at all. But this one... I feel like all these bending branches are going to impact the light coverage for the whole plant. Especially the outside where the branches are just falling over. I don't have a support like that, and the other tops are too weak to hold the outside branches up. I'll just have to deal with it. If it comes out messed up and larfy, I'll just use it for concentrate. I'm starting to get an idea of the potential yield. Both plants have tons of buds, but Tropicana C seems to have less dense buds, even though she in bending over everywhere. I'd say that Tropicana Cookies has a potential for 3 oz dried and trimmed. Tropicana C might yield 2.5 oz, but I'm thinking closer to 2 oz. We shall see. She still has a few days more. Maybe a week. The light is the same. It's kind of a good thing. The leaning branches still need light, and they are about 2" lower than the light. That dropped the DLI a little and now I don't have to worry. However, it didn't do anything for Tropicana Cookies. The environment is still kind of wonky. Day time temps are around 76° with the humidity still high at 55%. The night temp was really good though. The average was finally down to 66°.
