Still one orange Sherbert lags behind the rest in the race, I’m hoping it will be just s pheno thing rather than a weak spot in my room. All others looking great and possibly better than I’d normally be seeing at this stage of my grow. The plants have started to kick out an aroma, a skunky hash smell I’d say, at the moment anyway. The buds look like they should be fat, of the density I’m not so sure, let’s see how much they fatten up and tighten up. Beautiful covering of frost across all flowering areas covering pistils and leaves. I think at this stage that 3 of the 4 will be ready to harvest at 8 Or 9 weeks the slow one maybe at 10 weeks. Today I changed the CFL from 125>250w to try help hold a higher temperature overnight as it has been fairly cold in there. Roots are now touching the bottom of the pot they look healthy and white. Soon I will repot I got a bag of Coco today and some micorizor 😅 just to get new pots I've lost the old ones. Vegging fast these are already showing tiny preflowers starting to form and starting to smell slightly of blueberry muffins

So I have decided too pot up the 3 toronjaz girls into bigger pots, 1 because the older girl needed it but 2 also because I feel they needed space and a new home too stretch their roots out 🌱 The above blend will hopefully help these girls soldier through these first crucial weeks, let's keep our fingers crossed 🤞 I'll be doing light lst over the next week for the older girl, maybe top her end of week 3 maybe 4 depending on how she grows 🌱 Light feeds slow and steady will do as new too aptus buy I hope I can do well with them as they seem really simple too use and also their website has lots of usefull info incase I'm in need 🙏👏👊 These will be tidied up and given this space too their selves once my fastbuds testers in the back there are ready for new pots and their new space I have waiting 🌱

This week I had to Lollipop again (I know is very late and I hope I didn’t stressed the plant to much). My canopy is so tick and so many overlapping leaves and buds in the center of the plant that don’t receive enough light or any at all , n combination with the RH swings that I got going on (45 and 63 RH), I’m very afraid of mold. I should have did a better job at Lollipoping from day 21. I’m inexperienced grower and I didn’t knew better. I decided is better to risk to shock the plant a little bit risking a reduction in yield then get mold or pests and lose it all. My 30 pin dehumidifier works great with the AC but sometimes when the AC( compressor) stops my RH jump at 62% -63%, witch I don’t like . I’m trying to keep the humidity around 50% but in such a small room between the AC and Dehumidifier I got big swings in temp ( 75-82) and RH ( 45%-63%) witch is not ideal but is nothing that I can do. I played with the AC and Dehumidifier setting a lot trying to keep humidity around 50% and temp around 80 degrees and that’s the best I can. My AC is set at 82 degrees and my Dehumidifier is set at 45% RH. Also during the lights off (day time) is very hard to keep the temperature In control when outside is 110-115 degrees with my portable AC (1400BTU) in the 4x 6 closet. Is crazy but I do my best to keep temp under control. This is another rocky mistake I made is trying growing weed DWC in the middle of summer where temps are 105-115 degrees constant in a closet without centralized AC port and at second level in the building. LOL Also I think I underfed her (630 PPM TDS, PH 5.8-5.9) ) and I got a Ca deficiency witch I think is the reason my flowers developed slower then I anticipated. Hopefully I’m wrong and everything will be good. P.S. I got a little bit of calcium deficiency caused by salt buildup (to much PK boost) despite my earlier belief that is underfed. I increased the PPM from week 4 (630-640TDS) to 680 TDS) on week 5 while I kept the PK booster at 3+ml l per gallon. Slightly my PPM’s was rising in my reservoir for few days until I decided that my plant can’t take that much nutrients (PK). 2-3 days after I increased the TDS I’ve noticed more spots on the lower leaves with tip burns on top ( first signs of PK toxicity). One day later found spots and yellowing of the leaves on top of the plant that indicates Ca deficiency caused by salt buildup ( PK toxicity) and reversed osmosis (hope I’m not wrong). Going into week 6 I lowered the PK boost at 1.5ml / gallon and total TDS to 640 PPM. Seems like leaves damage to stop and my PPM to stay stabile at 630-640. Trying to keep PH at 5.8 max 5.9. I will post pictures of my Ca deficiency/ PK toxicity. If you guys have any suggestions please leave me a comment.

Hey everyone! Just a quick recap from last week: we've removed the LST bands and are letting the plants grow freely. They are looking fantastic and have developed a very dense canopy. 🌿 Now, we're at a bit of a crossroads regarding when to start the flowering phase. The back three plants from our second grow are only 23 days old, and I’d prefer not to have any plants outside the tent. Today, we're changing the light cycle from 20/4 to 18/6. This will give the plants more time to rest, which should help them grow even stronger. 🌱 The 18/6 cycle means 18 hours of light and 6 hours of darkness, providing the plants with more downtime to recuperate and grow. Excited to see how they respond to this change! Day 45 (First Grow): Hey everyone! Exciting update: we’ve built a SCROG (Screen of Green) net for the plants! 🌿 For those who don’t know, a SCROG net helps to train the plants to grow horizontally, which maximizes light exposure to all parts of the plant and promotes more even growth. We're using it with our six plants to ensure they all get plenty of light and develop a uniform canopy. We've also placed a hygrometer among the plants to measure the humidity between the leaves. We've noticed that the humidity sometimes exceeds 70% in those areas. Do we need more fans, an intake ventilation system, or would a dehumidifier be a better option? We’re leaning towards adding more fans to improve air circulation, but we'd love to hear your thoughts and suggestions! Day 46 (First Grow): Hey everyone! Exciting news: the plants have names now! 🌿 This will make it easier to identify and keep track of each one, especially if they get moved around. Temps outside are starting to go down so it's looking like a nice, gradual transition! Was supposed to update my diaries yesterday but literally forgot lol #edibles but she’s transitioning nicely (5days) and stretching as she goes! Shes truly loving life under the tsw2000 and the 2 x ts1000’s can’t wait to see what the next week brings!

Changed Wednesday

In week 5 of flower and decided to start documenting my indoor 2x4 grow setup. We currently just finished day 3 of week 5. I have my lights running from 9:15PM - 8:45AM. I am not sure how I messed up on my timer but that's been my schedule since flipping to flower. I have an A/C in my bedroom that I duct into the tent. I have my A/C set at 62F and the tent gets to around 71-75F with the lights on. Lights off it ranges from 68-70F. I have a small dehumidifier in the tent that needs to be replaced because it is not efficient. I have an intake fan running at full blast at all times and my exhaust fan is automated to turn on based on temp and humidity. Week 5 has brought on a lot of strong dank smells and a whole lot of weight to the buds. They are really starting to thicken up! I have not had too many issues with this grow so far and luckily, the tent in clean and bug-free. Lots of resin and terpene production going on and you can smell and see it increase daily! I am following General Hydroponics Flora Series 6-Part grow chart. I am currently following the medium strength chart. I'll measure everything out exactly as the chart suggest then dilute my mix until I get to my desired PPM of 1000-1200. I PH around 6.2-5.8 and then add my microbes. I changed up my watering technique mid grow due to an issue I dealt with and now watering 2x a day. Lights on and right before lights off. If my lights didn't run overnight, I would like to add in a 3rd watering in the middle of my light cycle but 2 a day is working for now. I water until there is a good amount of runoff. I measure the PPM of my runoff compared to the PPM of my inflow mix and will keep watering until the runoff is 300PPM or less over my input. So if my mix is 1000 PPM and my runoff is 1600PPM, I will go back and water or as I like to think about it, rinse off the coco until my runoff PPM is at 1300-1000. It is a little tedious but it's a habit I formed and it does not take much longer to ensure your PPMs in the root zone is perfectly where I want it. I defoliated right before flipping to flower. Then defoliated 2 weeks later, and then a minor defoliation on week 4 of big fan leaves. I most likely won't be taking off any more leaves for the rest of the grow unless they are really blocking the light. I am planning on harvesting in week 8 or 9, depending on when the plant is showing it is ready. For General Hydroponics line, it has been the same nutrient strength/mix from week 3-5. Next week, Week 6, we start lowering the strength and adjust the amounts as we get into the later stages of flower and eventually will be flushing. For my flush, I will be using GH Florakleen, GH ripen, Mammoth P, and Bio-Fizz. Excited to see how these girls turn out! I'll be adding my outdoor grow as well as a new veg tent that I setup yesterday in my room. Stay tuned!

So here we are with the last chapter of this journey which had many ups and downs but overall was a great experience. I love growing, it slowly became my passion thanks for GD and the community. It makes so much better, and lot of fun, one can interact with others and can learn from each other. Thanks for everyone who was with me in this last 2 years, you made me a better grower.🌱🌞 So let’s talk about the progress. I grew Liberty for the second time because it was my first photoperiodic strain 2 years ago and totally impressed me with it’s high yield and the effects. I wasn’t disappointed this time either. She had great structure, responded well to topping and training, and was resilient to pests. The germination rate wasn’t as good as usual and finally got 3 different phenotypes from the 5 germinated seeds. I topped them once and performed low stress training to get a flat canopy. The strong structure and rate of growth was impressive in the first 10 weeks which was actually a vegetative phase. They didn’t have any nutrient issues and even though they were under stress for two weeks (was my fault) in mid flowering, they performed really good. So it is a stress tolerant variety in my opinion.👌🌱 The buds are large sized and fat with medium resin production and a different scent for each phenotype. They aren’t dense and sticky like some indicas, but that says nothing about their potency. Flowering time was longer than the breeders recommendation but it's worth all the patience. Four plants were harvested 10 weeks after switched to 12/12 and one after 11,5 week. The harvest took place in several phases and some were immediately trimmed, some were hung with leaves. Calyx to leaf ratio was high except one plant so was relatively easy to trim. Plants which were trimmed after drying was easier this time.💚✂️ Based on the name, you'd really think it's a strong sativa strain but actually, this plant is a balanced hybrid, and it shows in both the growth characteristics and the effect. I am satisfied how this grow turned out however I know that it could have been better without my mistakes. In those two mid flowering weeks when the VPN was off and they were in stress I lost both the yield and the quality of the bud structure. So the total weight is 475 grams. 41 grams ore smaller airy popcorns and the rest are nice nuggets. I weighed the plants separately because I stored them also like this for later testing and smoke report.
