I've been having a tough time with shipping getting things I need to properly control my environment and running into issues. I have invested in a new; 4x5 Vivosun tent to give the bigger plants more room, a Spider Farmer 1000 ( MrCanucks, a guy I learned a lot from on YouTube did a paid trial of this product with pretty great results, thought I'd try compared to my current crappy LED.), Sizing down to 1 and 3gal fabric pots for a softer transplant transition next go around, the hygrometer/thermometers, some more appropriate sized fans for the tent ( Genesis clip on and treveda circulating fan) to help with general airflow. Overall I'm actually very happy with all my first set plants (the bigger ones), most seem to be producing multiple sites and growing bigger every day. Noticed the seedlings having trouble about two to three days ago at most. Honestly did not give them the attention they needed. First though it was nutrient deficiency or lockout, maybe, overwatering. Finally checked the soil good and seen how clay like and thick it had become, then took a few out their cups and seen the roots we're choking. I have a grow question up wondering whether I should try to save the seedlings or scrap them in favor of more light for the bigger plants that are obviously growing well? Until next week! Happy growing and much love to all! ✌️🌱 -UPDATE- So I ended up receiving my new Spider Farmer SF-1000 LED grow light and my two fans a bit ahead of schedule today! ☺️ Got the Treveda circulating fan and Genesis clip on fan. Reset all the plants to better benefit from the new gear and a couple other things. Need video I uploaded shows the most current setup. I moved all my bigger 1st set seed to the left side and hung the SF LED to about 20.5-21in from the tallest of the 4 of those plants. Most all are at least 9 inches. I moved the ring of the 1st set and seedlings to the right side under the Vivosun 600W at about 24in. Still haven't received much feedback on my grow question regarding my seedlings. Since I wasn't quite what to do, I ended up leaving them out of the cups and putting them in my germination tray. My hope is I can keep the plants surviving long enough off of regular sprayings and using the tray as a make shift nutrient reservoir until the soil and pots finally arrive. Cal-Mag Deficiency Adjustment – Pheno #5’s Special Needs This week started with a close inspection of our phenos, and we noticed that Pheno #5 was showing early signs of a calcium/magnesium deficiency. Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Day 50 - Starting week 8 and not much happening right now. Just watching the buds develop and the frost starting to come in. Still not much of a smell right now and hard to tell what kind of smell I am smelling. Didn’t do anything with her today but get some pictures and tucked the leaves. Day 52 - Thought she’d be ready for some water and nutes today but not quite, I’ll give it to her tomorrow. I did a heavy defoliation today and will probably be the only time I do it and will just remove dead or dying leaves from here on out. She’s definitely opened up a lot more so hopefully all is good with her. Day 53 - She pretty much dried up overnight and was ready for water today so she got 2 gallons of water and nutes. Seems to be doing ok after the heavy defoliation yesterday but still keeping an eye on her. She’s really getting frosty and smelly. Day 54 - Nothing much new today, just took her out for some updated pictures and adjust all the leaves and such to keep her opened up. Day 55 - Thought she would be ready for some water today but still a bit damn and will wait another day or two. Other than that, just took her out for some pics and tucked a couple leaves once she was back in the tent. Day 56 - The end of week 8 and had to give her two gallons of water and nutes today. As to remove a couple dead leaves from the bottom and just tucked the rest.

I cut the plant after 48 hours of total darkness. To flush the best, I ran a few dozen liters of water through the jar until the one that came out below was transparent. Although the flowers failed to close, I am satisfied with the result and the smell of the buds inspires a good terpene. To dry well, I moved the grow box to the room with an air conditioner. I'm keeping the temperature around 26-27 degrees and the humidity around 50%.

This week continues with nice flowering with strong smell. One plant is light green, I don't know why. I also added on more light to my grow tent.

12 days to full transplantable roots. Right on schedule as expected. Moved 6 of the 12 clones (1 per plant) into a new 45L Rez that I cobbled together in an evening. Just small enough to fit into the cabinet. Hopefully the roots don’t choke each other out for territory while we work to reveg, re-flower and ultimately seed em all for the new F3 line. We’ll pick the best buds from the lot for the next testing run once we see what the pheno variation looks like from the main run in the tent. It’s a process and annoyance not to be yielding bud off a grow cycle but it is what it is if you want your own signature stuff. Alls good for now. Let’s just hope that the 6 coats of paint I threw on the lid is enough to keep out the grow light penetration🤞. Shoulda used black, whatever.

6/11 day 55 day 56. Officially 2 months of growth. Somehow I've kept an auto flower in the vegetative stage for quite a bit of time. They are flowering and have stretched a ton. I will get actual measurements for each plant this Pheno #1 looks more indica (they all are) than the others. The pistils are shorter but more of them and the node spacing is a tighter than the others and she's stayed the shortest(least amount of stretch) and has thicker leaves(maple leaf style) her pistils started white and now have a pink tone to them and on closer inspection, some of the sugar leaves are purpling. This one could be expressing it more so because of environment. This week we've had lows and rains and cloudy weather. The other night it was in the low 40s, so in hindsight it might be environmentally expressed. Pheno #2 is the one that's been the most well rounded the whole time. Popped quick and has always been steady and not too tall and not too short. Her pistils are bright white like roots or an initial taproot. But the calyx are a deep deep purple. I believe this purple expression to be a genetic phenotypical expression rather than environment. The purple clashes with the white so beautifully. They just makes it all pop with the green. It honestly looks like a purple clover flower 😄

Here at the beginning of week 2 I fed these ladies another strong dose of compost tea. They seem to be doing great. The melato clone is exploding through the trellis netting. I’m glad I got another 7or8 clones of her for next round. I’ll probably only keep the strongest 2or3 and give the rest away but still. It’s always best to take extra clones so that you can keep the strongest growing clones and either compost or give away the runts. I’m also very interested with the Hyer up plant from seed in the front right corner this round. She seems a bit scragglier than the pheno I grew last run but I’m starting to see hints or purple on the forming Calix’s and the pistil’s. So We will see how she does this run and see if it’s worth keeping the clones I took from her. The one in the front left is the Ghost OG and this is the last time I’ll be running her in my indoor garden. I’m just not to happy with the strain overall but I already popped this bean and if by some crazy chance she turns out to be a keeper pheno I have clones of her as well. And finally, the empty spot that you see in the netting in the back left is reserved for the ATF you can see in the last few pictures. She is a super slow grower and her branch structure is crazy stacked. Barely 1or2 inches between each node. So I raised my lights up as far as I can to see if I can get her to start stretching out for the light a bit more. Hopefully by the time the clones I just took from her root she will be ready for the bud room. Usually my clones root in 8-12 days. This is my first time running this ATF Strain so the same thing goes for it as does the Ghost OG and the Hyer up. If I’m not happy with the buds in the end result I will get rid of the clones I took of her. I have very limited space and resources. I only want to grow strains I know are gonna be dank. Which is why I’m so glad I got some OceanGrownSeeds genetics. I now have their Tropic Moon and their Dark Plasma. I’ve already started my journal for the Tropic Moon and I will start one soon for the Dark Plasma series as well. Check out my page for these grows and more. Again I did not connect her on autopot but soaked the soil with loads of water and left wet towels all around the bottom of the tent to keep humidity since capacity of my humidifier is just one day. My idea was that she will use all the water in the pot and nicely dry out the root until I am back next time and in the meantime wet towels on the bottom of the tent will keep air humidity for first few days and than I can switch ON my humidifier remotely for last day, if needed (I am using alfred camera app and my old phone inside of the tent to be able to keep an eye on conditions while I am absent however I can only remotely control humidifier). Turns out (AGAIN) that it was too much water and she did not manage to use all of it during this 5 days. I found the top of the soil to be completely dried out while at the bottom of the pot and by the weight I would guess that there was still plenty of water available. I am using guanokalong soil that normally spreads water and humidity very nicely so I was bit surprised about such a difference from top to bottom of the pot. Overwatering signs are visible on young leaves; they became soft and start curling down got darker color. Despite that I have added 0,5 lit water (with orgatrex) just to balance the humidity in the pot. I am here only for day and a half and after that I will be gone for 10 days. Will not be able to dry out the soil before connecting autopot so more problems related with overwatering can be expected next time I am back. Will try to calculate quantity of water needed for 10 day and fill the tank of autopot with just a bit less than that so she can recover from all that water at one point.

day 70 was harvest day !! really fast strain, 24h light ON really played a big role as well frosty buds and amazing strawberry smell, now lets dry it !!

Finally into the big tent. The plants are looking a bit unhappy but fingers crossed it’s temporary until they adjust to their new home. Also back to using my 550w x 2 LEDs. Hps can cause swings in temperature and the plants love these LEDs better. Will top these once they have recovered from transplanting. Still only using root juice as using allmix soil.

the stretch has begun. in just 9 days the flowers are gonna start to form. i've been trying to give the plants more support. i placed a bunch of Bamboo through the cages to support the branches and placed a net on the smallest plant. ( the net's holes were too small, so i cut it up. only problem, since i can't reach the other plants that well i can't do the same for them. yet.) i'm working on it, i haven't had that much of time lately to work on the plants and the weather isn't helping either. most of the plants reached the height of 180 centimeters and maybe 190 before flowering. curious how big they will become when it all starts.

First 45gr of tops are off. Keepin an eye on the rest. Ma lenz came in tha mail today, awesome! Will be easy to follow up harvest time...
