Candyman Day 22, Week 3 of veg! Will probably push 3 more weeks of veg until I flip 😬 The first plant (first pictures) seems a lot smaller then the other two 🤔 I've upped the lights to 50% intensity now. Second plant I've topped a set of lower branches aswell hopefully can start using my lst clips to train all three very soon. Last one seems a bit unhappy to me but still growing nicely. First couple branches only pushed out 3 finger leaves probably nothing just not noticed that before 🤷‍♂️🏼🤣 Update: I've just applied some LSTing so see how they look over next couple of days

Got the girls into there flowering tent and there 5 gal RDWC system under a 1000w HPS on a light rail mover. We are flipping them now because these DWC systems produce massive plants. We are going to tuck through the stretch until they stop this time and try and keep them as low as possible. I’ve grown this strain before a few times and ran a couple clone runs of it as well, so I think I know what to expect hopefully. Lol this is a spectacular strain from an A+ breeder(Canuk Seeds) and I can’t wait to smoke her again! One of those tried tested and true strains for me...lol I will also be keeping the light at max height and punching them with 1000w rite from the get go instead of lowering the wattage and trying to get the light closer to try and conserve power. I get a better light spread at 1000w 3 feet away and don’t have to move my light as much to cover the roughly 4x6 foot space of the tent I will be flowing in. The last 2 feet of the tent are reservoir and air conditioner. I don’t want the cold air to close to my plants so I try to keep a buffer zone. I will be adding a cardboard wall I think across blocking the air conditioners direct air output and blow it across the tent with my oscillation fan instead. I also have my second water cooled thermoelectric reservoir water chiller built now and I will be installing it in this reservoir as soon as I get a chance. I’m making a how to DIY video for it so it’s taking a bit longer to build and install as I’m trying to document the entire process. So probably next week I will have it installed and running for the weekly update and I’ll post some links to the DIY video as well if I have it up yet. Couple weeks ago I over nute’d them and ended up with nitrogen abundance so I countered that last week with a very low EC at 0.2 and the rebounded quick, so quick they went the opposite and I had nitrogen deficiency within the week. Lol so they are now in there new homes and sitting in 0.75 EC water with 6.0ph and they are coming around now. Well that’s it for this week folks, Cheers! 💨

Well, that didn’t go as planned 😅 — snapped a branch while doing LST, so I guess it turned into an unplanned supercrop session. At least I’m learning something new from my mistakes. Other than that, this strain’s super bushy — gonna need to step up my LST game next time.

This week I worked on hardening the clones. I got them used to 40% RH pretty quickly. My grow set up is subject to some pretty crazy swings from the weather. Outside, it went from 16% to 45% and back to 24% in one week. Going easy with the light for another week at about 180-200 µmol/m2/s. I'm not going to push any parameters until I get them through the transplant. So far so good. When I saw the first roots I jumped up and down and did a bunch of spastic air fist pumps. 😂

15/16 week grow from start to finish. First grow yielded 7.5 oz in a 4x2. 3 autos in 5 gallon. Making this post 03 AUG 2025 after 2 weeks of drying and couple weeks of curing. This is some of the strongest weed I smoked in long time. Takes me back to the first time smoking weed. Will try again with known fastbud seeds instead of random pack. Should have larger faster yields next run! Thank you! I got geek for days

The ladies are packing on beautifully and we are now giving them extra strength light during 12:00 till 14:00 slot 100% and lowering the light back down to 75% from 14:00 till 17:00 and then 50% light from 17:00 till 23:00. Lets see what happens

One of the plants grew massive! However the smoke wasn’t the best until a good 4 weeks cure. Very hairy buds too which was interesting 😂 Still a nice smoke

Another week down. As some of you will see, from the three purple kush autos one defiantly has the characteristics of a “purple kush plant” it is very small with odd shaped buds and almost purpley/black. The other two are monsters with no purple traits. I did loose a plant at the start that was also stunted, which likely would have produced another “purple budded” plant. Anyway it has been hotter than hell here, and they pretty much survived a hurricane and tornado, so I think these girls will finish out the summer just nice. I gave them a feed of some cal mag and some fox farms tiger bloom. Other than that they be chillin. Enjoy the weather! Cheers.

Though I’ll cure and keep some on the side for times of need. [Mazar] Height: 22” Tops: 16 Notes: Had a bit of nute burn, not too much though. I’m going to feed this girl separately so I can avoid stressing her out. The Mazar has the most bud sites, this make her buds smaller in comparison to CBD and SSH. [Super Silver Haze] Height: 23” Tops: 16 Notes: I have to say it, this plant might be my favorite. I love Mazar and all her fluffy beauty but the heavy stems, big fans, packed buds, she took my number spot! I love how strong and easy it is to deal with her. As a new grower I couldn’t ask for a better beginner strain. [White Widow] Height: 23” Tops: 16 Notes: Okay, White Widow will always be my numero uno. An all day smoke that never gets old (to me). I could work, study, game, or sleep without any distractions or odd effects. This might be in part to my personal chemistry, so I can’t say this will affect you the same way. This week I had to Lollipop again (I know is very late and I hope I didn’t stressed the plant to much). My canopy is so tick and so many overlapping leaves and buds in the center of the plant that don’t receive enough light or any at all , n combination with the RH swings that I got going on (45 and 63 RH), I’m very afraid of mold. I should have did a better job at Lollipoping from day 21. I’m inexperienced grower and I didn’t knew better. I decided is better to risk to shock the plant a little bit risking a reduction in yield then get mold or pests and lose it all. My 30 pin dehumidifier works great with the AC but sometimes when the AC( compressor) stops my RH jump at 62% -63%, witch I don’t like . I’m trying to keep the humidity around 50% but in such a small room between the AC and Dehumidifier I got big swings in temp ( 75-82) and RH ( 45%-63%) witch is not ideal but is nothing that I can do. I played with the AC and Dehumidifier setting a lot trying to keep humidity around 50% and temp around 80 degrees and that’s the best I can. My AC is set at 82 degrees and my Dehumidifier is set at 45% RH. Also during the lights off (day time) is very hard to keep the temperature In control when outside is 110-115 degrees with my portable AC (1400BTU) in the 4x 6 closet. Is crazy but I do my best to keep temp under control. This is another rocky mistake I made is trying growing weed DWC in the middle of summer where temps are 105-115 degrees constant in a closet without centralized AC port and at second level in the building. LOL Also I think I underfed her (630 PPM TDS, PH 5.8-5.9) ) and I got a Ca deficiency witch I think is the reason my flowers developed slower then I anticipated. Hopefully I’m wrong and everything will be good. P.S. I got a little bit of calcium deficiency caused by salt buildup (to much PK boost) despite my earlier belief that is underfed. I increased the PPM from week 4 (630-640TDS) to 680 TDS) on week 5 while I kept the PK booster at 3+ml l per gallon. Slightly my PPM’s was rising in my reservoir for few days until I decided that my plant can’t take that much nutrients (PK). 2-3 days after I increased the TDS I’ve noticed more spots on the lower leaves with tip burns on top ( first signs of PK toxicity). One day later found spots and yellowing of the leaves on top of the plant that indicates Ca deficiency caused by salt buildup ( PK toxicity) and reversed osmosis (hope I’m not wrong). Going into week 6 I lowered the PK boost at 1.5ml / gallon and total TDS to 640 PPM. Seems like leaves damage to stop and my PPM to stay stabile at 630-640. Trying to keep PH at 5.8 max 5.9. I will post pictures of my Ca deficiency/ PK toxicity. If you guys have any suggestions please leave me a comment.
