No panic moves. Why we changed nothing (and why that’s not doing nothing) Your room conditions: • 🌡️ Day temp: ~28 °C • 💧 RH: ~65% • ⚡ EC: 2.4 • pH: 6.5 • 📏 Height: ~40–80 cm • 💡 LED lighting On paper, some growers would panic at 28 °C in flower. But here’s the key difference between growing by numbers and growing by understanding: Under LED, leaf temperature ≠ room temperature. LEDs don’t radiate infrared heat like HPS. So while the wall sensor says 28 °C, the leaf surface is usually 2–4 °C cooler. And the plant does not “feel” the room — it feels its own leaf temperature. That’s where leaf VPD comes in. ⸻ Leaf VPD — the part most people skip VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) is simply the difference between how much moisture the air can hold and how much it actually holds. But here’s the nuance most charts miss: • Room VPD is calculated with room temp • Leaf VPD is calculated with leaf temp So if: • Room = 28 °C • Leaf = ~24–26 °C • RH = 65% 👉 our leaf VPD lands right in the comfort zone for early–mid flower. And the plants are confirming that with their behavior: • Deep, relaxed green • No tacoing, no praying too hard • Internodes strong and structured • Uniform nutrient uptake across phenotypes That’s the real data. We’re not ignoring numbers We’re letting the plant be the final authority. Stability here beats “fixing” something that isn’t broken. ⸻ Defoliation — why this time was heavier Let’s be very clear: This was not aesthetic defoliation. This was functional defoliation. Context matters: • 🏠 8×8 room • 🌱 ~27 plants • 🌬️ Airflow, light penetration, humidity pockets all scale differently Sometimes a single plant wouldn’t “ask” for leaves to be removed — but the room does. Why you defoliated: • Improve airflow through a dense canopy • Reduce micro-humidity pockets • Allow photons to travel deeper, not just hit the roof • Reset apical dominance and refocus energy on flowering sites Yes — i went harder than originally planned. But: • Genetics are strong • Plants are healthy • Root zone is dialed • Feed is stable Healthy plants recover fast. Stressed plants don’t. These girls are the first category. And importantly: we didn’t stack stress. No feed change. No environment change. No light shock. That’s how we “go hard” safely. What to expect next week (and what not to expect) Expect: • Slight pause as plants redirect energy • Fresh flower site definition • Upright posture returning after defoliation • Strong tops responding to improved light access Do NOT expect: • Explosive vertical stretch (that window is closing) • Deficiency symptoms (unless something external changes) • Need for immediate correction Next week is observation week again. 4 Seedlings in 10cm pots each holding approx half a litre of BioBizz light mix soil for a few weeks before potting up into their final pots in BioBizz all mix soil... Planning first lot of Nutes this week so they don’t go hungry, using BioBizz Grow, planning to dilute down to 25% less than the recommended dose for the first week. Second lot of Nutes gone in 1st Sep still @ 25% of recommended dose..

What a fun run this was ! These Ogreberrys finished up from 81 days to 102 days with nice hints of gassy , sour purple , sweetness and glistening with frost! These ladies will cure up for a month an will be ready to test out ! So much fun , I highly recommend this strain if your looking for some oooy gooohy resiny grape smelling nugs !

So far so good. Fattening up nicely, growth has been wicked up till this point. Only vegged her for 27 days. Pretty impressive growth. Hopefully she will be ready end of next week. Dropped the feeding back slightly, will be starting the flush soon. Stay tuned.

09/07/2021 (F DAY 42) El olor es sumamente intenso, todo marcha muy bien! 13/07/2021 (F DAY 46) Continuo con los dos riegos semanales de 3 litros de te y las plantas están super contentas, Sweet cheese ya está amarillentando y es sin dudas la mas rápida. Pomelo Haze es la mas lenta y espero tenerla 1 a 2 semanas mas dentro del indoor luego del corte de las damas.

Tag 39: Nicht mehr lange dann hat die Chocolate Haze das Netz ausgefüllt. Heute habe sie ein wenig entlaubt, so kann ich sie gleich besser gießen. 😁

9-9 Recharge 750 ml Removed first leaves, bud site not ready. 9-11 Day 17 She was getting kinda tall, so over she bends! She was stubborn, but resistance is futile! Bent the day before water. 9-12 Big water, around 2-2.5 liters. Brought soil to where it should be. Will try to maintain 45-55% on eco witt. 9-14 This thing is growing great! Little sad I had to remove a top leaf. Just no way around it. Pistols for 3-4 days. Starting flower tomorrow and top dressing! Lets go! Leafs up!

Great growth this week despite a pretty scary heat wave that rose my tent temp from 78-84/85...but she survived! I plan on doing some Light Stress Training to her next week to keep her on the shorter side due to vertical limitations in my grow tent🤦‍♂️🏽

At the beginning of week 4 she started to show yellow leaf tips. My assumption was that it's caused by light stress. I then increased the lamp distance progressively to around 25 cm, PPFD 400. Since the overall growth was satisfying I am not that worried. Maybe someone can chime in with a better analysis. Different sources say, that this strain could stretch up to 3x. I think I will flip her very soon since my tent is rather small.

We are officially in full bloom. The have been enjoying 6-7 hours of sun light per day for about 4 days now, then brought back in under the cobs. The girls are all exploding with growth and stacking what I expect to be huge buds.

This week a few different things happened . 1. After I flushed to remedy all purple stems Runtz & Zkittlez developed deformed leaf sets. The runts leaf set didn’t form on 1 side of the vein. The Zkittlez formed leaf sets with a missing finger . Instead of the being 5 fingers on the 3rd set there were 4 fingers . 2. Day #10 plants looked really sad & droopy the leaves of my plants where pointing downward & the 1st set of serrated leaves began to yellow . 3. To rectify the “super soil” dropping the PH of the water I fed the girls I purchased some PH UP & experimented with a few cups of my soil & found if I put in water at 9.5PH the “Super Soil” balanced out at 6.5 . My tap water PH is about 7.5 with a 200ppm (yes , yes, I know , tell me about it) if I put regular tap water in my soil drops it to a 5.1 -5.3 which led to the purple stems in the 1st week. Granted I’m kinda working backwards to work with what I have in order to utilize my investments it’s a means to an end I suppose BUT I AM OPEN TO SENSIBLE THOUGHT OUT ADVICE THANKS. 4. Day #11 I transplanted all the girls into full strength super soil . If I hadn’t had to flush i could have held out another week tops in my solo cups . I could have gotten to atleast the 6th maybe 7th node before transplanting into full strength soil. Currently I’m at the 4th node & noticing slight canoeing of the leaves . This is my first grow in this “supersoil” also my 1st time mixing my own amendments to make said “supersoil” so for the time being I’ll just keep an eye on it & hope the plant establishes quickly enough to be able to consume the quantities of nutrients in this soil THUS my generous generous use of Mykos . Today makes 2 weeks for Runtz & #1 GDP the the remaining 4 are at day #13. I’m still hoping by day 16 I can start LST’ing . All but 1 or 2 of the girls have began growing secondary shoots along the nodes so I’m getting more an more excited . I’m just envisioning the plants I want to have until it comes to fruition. I am by no means an expert I’m not even a reasonably decent grower . Out of the 3 runs I’ve done so far only one produced smokable poor quality buds . Each time spawning more research & a tweak to the setup . THIS TIME I AM CALM COOL & COLLECTED as I’ve ever been & have my eyes set on a lofty yield of high quality buds I’m aiming to get a QP p/plant but honestly I want to push them to get a HP p/plant . Which sounds like I’m in Narnia NeverLand with such high expectations .. I’ll just shoot for the starts & if I land on the moon instead I’ll be happy with that as long as the end results in me being high . Week 2 in the books 📚

Germinated for 24 hours in a glass of water, 48 hours in a paper towel and then I planted them into biodegradable seedling pots. Northern Lights looking a bit ahead of the Dosidos seeds but that was expected I’ve grown Northern Lights before and they sprout real quick. One of the Dosidos’ first true leaves is looking a bit wonky but we’ll see how it goes I suppose.

23.09.23-85 дней этому растению . Она немного растянулась и я решил убрать пару больших листьев и немного подвязать , чтобы свет лучше проникал . На этой неделе я поднял ппм раствора до 1000 . Все девочки активно пьют и выглядят здоровыми . 26.09.23-88 день ) За эти 3 дня растение продолжило растяжку и прибавило около 8 см 😎😎 Шишки красиво формируются и на листьях уже виден Сахар . В планах на ближайшие дни провести легкую дефолиацию и добавить света . Всем мир 28.09.23- 60 дней вегетации и 30 дней цветения ! Растение продолжает медленную растяжку и прибавило 5 см за 2 дня , в остальном изменений нет . Завтра добавлю ей 120 w .
