Day 80 This morning I started defoliating Tropicana. She will be in the darkness for the next days. I already harvested a part of the head flower and let it dry trimmed. Because of extreme weather conditions and very high humidity I got a little bud rott. I found it out quit early I think. So I hope nothing will not happen any more. Just harvesting relaxed and drink a Tropicana tee. Day 81 I decided to cut her down in the evening. The humidity in the basement room is high and I don‘t want to risk here anything anymore. Waiting for my first homegrown weed to be vaped. Day 82 Tropicanas flowers hanging to dry in my basement. I check them once per day with a strong light. Day 83 Same same. The smell is wonderful like a bit of gas combined with a fruity flower bouquet. Our neighbors in the house like the smell, too. 🙏 Day 84 I could try my first homegrown weed. It‘s absolutely tasty and have a very smooth vape. I was very surprised cause it‘s not cured yet. A longer vape report will follow when it‘s dried and cured. Day 88 All flowers, sugar- and tee leafs are trimmed and filled in glasses for curing. I open twice per day for 20 minutes. Boveda packs 58% inside. I will fill out the rest of the diarie when my buds are dried, cured and vaped. So far this was a very exciting journey for me. Growing cannabis and even legal on our balcony. These girls are doing great. The square container is proving to work amazing. I do think I need to feed the one it's a little more hungry in the round container. 🇩🇪 Woche 4 🌱 | Cherry Limeade 🍒🍋 Die Cherry Limeade macht endlich Fortschritte! 🙌 Mit mittlerweile etwa 8 cm Höhe nimmt das Wachstum langsam Fahrt auf. Trotzdem ist sie für ihr Alter noch deutlich zu klein. Rückblickend vermute ich, dass die direkte Keimung im sehr nährstoffreichen Living Soil für einen Sämling einfach nicht optimal war. Wahrscheinlich musste das kleine Wurzelsystem zunächst viel Energie investieren, um sich in dem aktiven Boden zu etablieren, bevor oberirdisch wirklich Wachstum sichtbar wurde. 🌱 Genau dafür habe ich mir bereits die Bottomless Pots von Almicanna besorgt. Beim nächsten Durchgang werde ich die Pflanzen zunächst in BioBizz Light Mix innerhalb dieser Töpfe anziehen. Die Töpfe stehen direkt auf dem Living Soil Beet, sodass die Wurzeln später selbstständig nach unten in den lebenden Boden wachsen können. Ich bin gespannt, ob sich dadurch der schwierige Start vermeiden lässt. 🔬 Mit der Blumat-Bewässerung kämpfe ich aktuell noch etwas. Durch das ständig wachsende und wieder zurückgeschnittene Cover Crop verändert sich der Wasserverbrauch permanent, wodurch es gar nicht so einfach ist, den Sweet Spot von 100 mbar konstant zu halten. Im Moment schwankt die Bodenfeuchtigkeit noch recht stark, aber das gehört wohl dazu, wenn man ein neues Living-Soil-System kennenlernt. Ich bin sicher, dass ich mich mit der Zeit noch besser auf das Setup eingrooven werde. 💧🌾 Insgesamt bin ich trotz des holprigen Starts optimistisch. Die Pflanze sieht inzwischen deutlich vitaler aus und wächst endlich kontinuierlich. However, she’s still much smaller than expected for her age. Looking back, I believe directly germinating the seed in a nutrient-rich Living Soil wasn’t the best choice. The young root system probably had to spend a lot of energy establishing itself in such an active soil before visible top growth could really take off. 🌱 To solve this, I’ve already bought the Bottomless Pots from Almicanna for my next run. My plan is to start the seedlings in BioBizz Light Mix inside these pots, which will sit directly on top of the Living Soil bed. Once the roots are strong enough, they’ll naturally grow through the open bottom into the living soil below. I’m really looking forward to comparing the results. 🔬 I’m still dialing in my Blumat irrigation system. The constantly growing and regularly trimmed cover crop changes the water consumption all the time, making it surprisingly difficult to keep the ideal 100 mbar soil tension consistently. Right now the soil moisture fluctuates between 50 and 150 mbar, but that’s part of learning how this new Living Soil system behaves. I’m confident I’ll get the hang of it over time. 💧🌾 Despite the slow start, I’m feeling much more optimistic now. The plant looks healthier every day and has finally started growing consistently. New nutes. Switched to canna. Smells like decaying things. Plants didn’t have any issues though.

Die Gorilla Sherbet ist jetzt in der 4BW angekommen und hat sich im Gegensatz zu anderen, sehr kompakt und klein geblieben, dazu baut die Pflanzen nach jeden beschneiden mehr blattwerk auf und gleichzeitig auch die Blüten Produktion und die viel Zahl von Trichomen kann man nicht übersehen, Sie riecht etwas erdiger mit einem Zitrus Geruch im Hintergrund, sobald man aber etwas an die zuckerblätter dran geht und an seinen Finger riecht… ist der Geruch unglaublich und erinnert an ein Süßigkeitenladen! ..das wird eine richtiger kugel Blitz…

Wie auch bei der guava runtz, Zucker Zucker Zucker! Ebenfalls sieht es hier langsam so aus als würde sich der Stretch dem Ende neigen. Die guava sunday ist eindeutig luftiger und hat viel viel mehr kleinere untere Triebe im Gegensatz zu der runtz. Das das wird mir auch beim entlauben und lollipoppen sehr viel Arbeit bescheren aber die Arbeit wird sich lohnen. Faszinierend ist aber dass die beiden total unterschiedlich im TerpenProfil sind. Die runtz kommt eindeutig stark fruchtig daher mit subtilen untern Tönen. Während hier die sunday mit einem sehr cremig erdigen Profil daherkommt und er mit subtilen Reifen guava untertönen unterlegt. Vielleicht sogar leicht skunkig? Ich bin auf die Ernte und auf die erste Verkostung gespannt bei dieser Unterschiedlichkeit schon allein vom Profil her. 🤤

Mi experiencia fue excelente. Muchos puntos a mejorar. Y es el primer diario qué logro terminar desde que pertenezco a esta comunidad. Es complejo actualizar semanalmente. Day 50 - Starting off the 8th week and she’s looking good. Filling in more and more each day. Gave her the first feeding of the week today and removed a couple dying leaves. Day 51 - No water today, she still needs to dry out a bit. She’s filling in fairly nicely and looking forward to seeing how this girl will turn out in the end. Day 52 - Gave the girl a full 3/4’s of a gallon of pH’d water. She’s definitely filling in a bit more each day. Day 53 - For the most part, she’s looking pretty good but she’s definitely got a little deficiency. A few of the leaves I defoliated seem to point to a cal-mag deficiency. So I’m going to give her good flush tomorrow and up the cal-mag a bit and hope that helps. Day 54 - Flushed her with a gallon of water and foxfarm’s sledgehammer. Gonna let her dry out quite a bit and then up the cal-mag and hope this corrects her issue. Other than that she’s filling in quite nicely. Day 56 - Last day of week 8 and she’s really starting to pack on now and looking good. Letting her dry out a bit more before starting feed schedule after flushing.

10-05-2021: I am counting today as day One for Veg. Planning to hold them on 18/6 till the 20th of may (ten days) and then switch. Not sure if I will stress them a bit or not, time will tell. Yesterday was hot (26˚C) here so all values have shifted a bit. Won't be a problem as soon as they are on 12/12. Do you notice the lines (air/water) changing position on heat :) Didn't even notice that at first. Also pretty sure I need a more powerful chiller at the moment but will first make an attempt to replace the gas. 13-05-2021: Today I will be replacing my chiller. It doesn't keep up and the temperature of 28˚C is a bit too much. For the rest.. All great 15-05-2021: Added some paper sheets to reduce heat. Seem to work so today I'll go to hardware store and buy something to make a more permanent solution.... I have added some reflective foil to cover the boxes
