Since I started her on hygrozyme, hyshield and ph perfect, it's been nothing but smooth sailing! Such a relief because it seemed to stall last week. New white pistils, a noticeable chunk to the buds. I'm a happy camper now! I know I said I'd start this plant on overdrive last week, but we'll start this week instead. I'm blown away by this plant's color and smell. I mean it doesn't smell like the weed I'm used to. It's like fruit salad nested between a bed of flowers. Heavenly! Honestly, I know this plant won't be as much a yielder as I initially hoped. But the quality will surely make up for that. On top of that, we've got FIVE more banana dads to run, so I hope to get better and better with this strain in the months to come. Biggest mistake has to do with how little nutes I fed this plant whole cycle. I went the minimalist route, feeding mostly low-dose compost tea. Learned my lesson - to just use compost tea as a supplement with my grow style. Thanks again @JhindleHydro for pointing me in the right direction, you may have saved my plant, m8! Almost forgot to mention, I've added a 300w LED flower-spectrum board to help out in the flowering tent. It's no Mars Hydro - But it should do just fine as supplemental lighting.

The start of week 5 is going well. Blueberry is smelling nice and my seedlings should be showing preflowers soon.

Day 29, I’ve been slowing a little bit with fer too loser as I m going into flow and I used an all mix soil from biobizz that’s already charged with an high ec, I don’t wanna risk any over, I left it for one week with just water and regulator, the development of roots will help to absorbs the ec present in the soil so I will restart to fertilise next week. I’m using the complete line from aptus and I’m really satisfied I see how healthy the littles are. I will have my lamp 40 cm for this week and I’ll Move to 33 at the end of this week Day 32 this OS is flowering supersoeedy, I can already see buds, i had one of last lst just give her a more clean structure. I stopped to fertilise in the last 5 days, I just gave ph controlled water and yesterday 0.5 lt of water with just regulator and calmag. I wanted the plant to eat all the nutrients I gave during veg, I think this worked pretty well as I I saw her growing every day and I can. See an healthy nice green on leaves . I think that max tomorrow I’ll start again with fertiliser. Day 33 the orange sherbert is really running fast. I restarted feeding her today, flowering feedings started. Let’s goo Let’s goo!!

Last week of life, she is yellowing the leaves rippening faster than the week before, and Bad weather is here, during the middle of this week, so it rained hard dirung a couple of days, high RH and even more bugs are trying to eat the plant.... Aphids, flies, ants... They attract each other so what a jungle hahaha Im giving the plant a H202 bath to get rid of that bugs, they are really annoying hahaha damn fuckers, but they know whats a good therpene profile hahaha, really, if you could smell this plant would intstantly know that is a piece of cake for the bugs :) Hairs are like 90-100% orange Buds are covered by a nice layer of resin and THC ^^ Im happy, as my second auto, ended like an homogeneous bush, all buds at the same level, but now i think i should had removed more lower leaves to increase airflow... Take care boyzzz and girlzzz, and remember, smoke at least one joint a day if its possible hahaha :D

Plants are very healthy, nice deep and dark green and good growth. Did some defoliation and Will turn the clock to 12 hours light and increase the lights to 70% 622 ppfd for the first 2 weeks of flowering.

Bud wet weight : 168,1g of trimmed medium to big sized buds 25,4g of tiny tiny buds/larfs = 193.5 grams of trimmed wet buds. Details on genetics and smoke report above. This, as my first grow, is way more than I ever expected it to be. I haven´t had that much fun and enthusiasm in a very very long time. I can´t even explain the feeling it is to harvest your own cannabis, but I know most of you know what I´m talking about haha. It was really nice to practice LST, even tho it was SO HARD, ´cause I didn´t had barely any space to work since I used a hard pot and did not fill nearly half the size of it and the walls of the pot were really high. It was even difficult to water without dropping water on the lower buds. I haven´t learnt much about defoliation tho, I feel I need to study a little more about the phases you should or should not do it. Also, I discovered thrips are a pain in the ass. I had 2 tough weeks dealing with thrips, but in the end it was alright. I don´t have any humidity control device, which I intend to buy for the next grows. Growdiaries was really helpful for me, it kept me motivated everyday (not that I wouldn´t have had it anyways), the Grow Questions are REALLY useful and all the community is awesome. Thanks to all people that helped me here on GD during this first grow! To conclude it: I am really happy and satisfied with how the grow turned out. They look incredible, it almost feels like I can´t believe it still. Peace. UPDATES: 07/10 : The buds are now dry and already in curing jars, one of them with a Boveda 58% humidity pack. The total grams of the dry buds are: 41.4g (medium to big sized buds) 4.1g (tiny buds) = 45.5 grams! I´m really happy with the results, I thought it would be around 30g so yeah, that´s a really good surprise! In 2 weeks I´ll be back to update the smoke report. Thanks so much for reading! Peace. 09/10 : I managed to fit everything in the same container with some space between them, so now every bud is with the Boveda pack. 14/10: It´s been a week and the smell improved, it still smells a little like hay/plant ( even tho it´s not too dry neither too wet ). 21/10: Now it´s been two weeks and even tho the smell isn´t anymore hay, it´s a lot herbal. I really think the aroma can get better, but the taste is already good enough for me. The smoke report has been done and in case I have something to add, I´ll report here. AK-47 Goxuak Autoflower by Genehtik is a truly awesome plant and really really fun to grow! My 1st thought was I wish I had know more when I ordered the seeds. I only bought 1 from the single seed centre .com 🤦‍♂️ Of all the plants our house sitters watched for us back in week 7, this is the only one they regularly ask about and want to know when its finished. Even they loved growing it! And they only spent a week with her and aren't gardeners 😄 Ashoka started in a Jiffy tomato pod and was transplanted almost as an afterthought. In fact we ran out of containers and had to improvise with the water pitcher. (We didn't have high hopes) Oops. The pitcher turned out to be a big benefit in that I could see the roots and diagnose and potential issues. She has been in the same Fox Farms; Happy Frog soil ever since planting the pod into the pitcher. The soil held up good too. Ashoka didn't start showing any deficiencies until the end of week 6, around the middle of her stretch. Correcting this was very easy, we added the recharge at first but it didn't quite do it. We had to feed her Advanced Nutrients Bloom and Grow for about 2.5 weeks. But this Goxuak really never complained : 1:😎 Low Stress Training (LST) for Ashoka was a breeze! At 14 days she was 4" tall and too short to train. She doubled in height in a week and we started training around day 24. Just in the nick of time too! She entered flower about a week after that and stretched like crazy!🤪 the AK-47 gave us about 3 full weeks of nice flexible branches to train before hardening up. We ended up with a pretty even canopy and some solid colas too I wanted to touch on the lighting as there isn't a lot of options on this platform. Ashoka spent her life under 2 different lights. 1st, she sprouted and spent the first 4 weeks vegging under 2x Viparspectra 600w(250 true watts) LEDs at an 18/6 light cycle. She finished her flower and fade under A Optic 8 (500 true watts) LED. At 18/6 At around day 60 I started flushing her.(well my house sitter Sam did the first time) We used Cyco Kleanse and flushed 5 Gallons thru her until the ppm was down to 350ish, I did the next 2 flushes. The 2nd I used Kleanse again getting the runoff ppm to ~120. Her final week I stopped ph-ing the water and just watered tap. I also gave her the 3rd and final flush with straight Ice cold tap water. She really showed a great fade!! Some buds definitely colored up too!! Finally the Harevst: I put her in a 5Gal bucket of ice in complete darkness for 4 days.😈 This was done with the intent to help her produce more resin and frost up. I can't say if it truly worked. She absolutely doubled the trichome production in those 4 days, but idk if it was the time or the darkness and ice. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ I kept her in a sealed closet with a oscillating fan and humidifier at 75°and 63%RH. On the 3rd day I lowered the RH to 50%. She got trimmed and put into jars on the 5th day after harvest. I am monitoring the humidity and burping regularly (8-10x a day) Smoke Report: Creamy pepper with a cherry syrup aftertaste.🤣🤪 I've only smoked a bowl so haven't tested the ashes. But she is curing nice. A bit harsh yet I expect will go away after a couple more days. The high is perfect tho! Just what we wanted. It creeps up on u. But you will be confused by the time you finish the bowl. A very cerebral high(I chopped her whole trichomes were only 10% amber) that was great with good company. My girl andI are both veteran smokers, but this bud still made us both giggly(a rarity). It's a good social smoke and was fun to be on around others. The only downsides were it caused a mild confusion and paranoia. Like I would forget what I was talking about then worry ppl were laughing at me for it(they were though) 🤣🤣 I plan to report more feedback after it had cured a couple weeks. I'll invite others people's opinions as well. Right now I can definitely say the AK-47 Goxuak from Genehtik it an autoflower I would recommend to anyone, but especially new auto growers. I will be ordering more next season if they ate available. Genehtik has won me over. They genetics were extremely stable and safe. No herms no deficiencies nothing but greatness! 🌱🌱🌱 I had to share! I was looking on the breeder Instagram page( @Genehtik_chile) and they used a few of my pictures of Ashoka to represent their AK-47 Goxuak auto. I really feel honored by this. I have only been growing for 5 months and know I'm not good, but it's inspiring and motivating when the breeder of the strain give you an attaboy like this. Thanks Genehtik! 10/9 First week of flower as they move into it quickly. No real stretch yet but can see the signs. 10/11 Tent has almost been conquered! The clones expand 10/13 Clones doing well moving into full flower have cut out the grow and increased bloom. Giving Kangaroots, recharge, and fish shit intermittently in low doses 10/14 Victory! The tent belongs to the clones now. Bloom schedule for this grow begun, stretch is roaring 10/16 Added cages to all plants and have begun to secure those stretchy arsed main tops. Trying some new things with these to see how well the smaller pot/more plants thing works out. Keeping plants as clear of excess leaves as we can

It was finally time to harvest her, what good times we had with her. Amazed with how beautiful this plant is, how easy to manage and train and how rewarding Orange Hill Special is. So we said our thanks and goodbye, thanked her for all the joy she gave while growing her. I realize more and more how I love growing them even more than the end-product. It takes my mind of all going on for a while, in my miniature jungle world in the attic. Im sure all of you just sometimes sit there and watch them, in wonder, dreaming away with a good buzz on, watching them wave in the wind of the fans. So with a heavy hart I apologize, play them their last music, sit with them and feel them and smell them, watch the glistening of the cristals. In the end we had 209 gram dried Orange Hill Special, I will know the total of the grow, in a few days, since the final big whopper still has to dry: my XtraKush, be sure to check the harvest of that one *in couple of days) and see a one-dollar seed outperform two 10 dollar seeds. Arrancó la floración. Las plantas se fueron bastante arriba, así que estas dos semanas voy a estar aplicando lst para manejar la altura y no estresar a las plantas en floración. Es una variedad de floración rápida y 90% indica, por lo que no espero un estirón muy fuerte. Por el momento elegí usar EMRO desde el principio, dado que la reacción de las plantas fue mejor que al bioestimulante en las aplicaciones foliares. El presupuesto no me dio para delta9 esta vez. Pero la próxima espero que si. De todos modos le tengo mucha fé a la combinación de los dos productos usados. Estaré actualizando. Es el 5to día de flora y las plantas vienen mostrando un estiramiento medido. Por suerte tengo lugar para manejar la altura. Pero aún así voy a tener que agrandar el depósito ya que cada 2 días debo agregar agua. 18 litros no son suficientes para este tamaño de plantas. Pero voy contento con los resultados. El bioestimulante que usé no es muy bueno. He visto mejores reacciones con delta 9. Día 7. Tuve que usar LST obligado para intentar poner las plantas a la misma altura. Al final la pequeña de atrás no prosperó demasiado, así que va a quedar ahí y sea lo que sea. Por el momento las yemas no se muestran tanto, pero eso es la falta de un bioestimulante de calidad. De todos modos por el momento los resultados son buenos y las plantas están fuertes y sanas. Ya estan a 20cm de las luces y voy a tratar de mantenerlas ahí o como muy cerca a 15cm. Mañana cambio el depósito y repetiremos las fórmulas con un poco menos de EMRO.
