April 4th 2021 is Day 55 in Flower, Niagara's Own Seed says their Wedding Cake takes 50 -55 Days. These seeds are great 5 beans for $35 or $40 Canadian.
Can't beat the quality and the price! Wish some seed company on here would offer such great prices! Trichomes are mostly milky viewed with a 60X loop. Plants are sticky and smelly. Buds are dense not an airy fluffy bud in sight😍. This is the frostiest bud I've grown to date I think. Some pistils are still white and sticking up straight while others look they are curling in. Since I didn't put up netting or bamboo stakes the branches aren't holding the bud weight so supporting with rope from ceiling hook works OK.
Shes growing fast i think the extra leaf helped but sadly it looks like it may have grow out of the triploid structure. Maybe its too soon to tell but this week should have some nice sun and she will be much bigger by the end of the week and i will have a better idea. Only had to water once as it was so rainy and cloudy. It was a mix of the cal mag and kelp I like to use.
Medusa 3/5 is now also starting to grow fat flowers.
I started giving her a small dosage of green sensation.
I noticed this plant has more indica leaves instead of sativa/ruderalis on the lower growth. Im curious to see the development of smell and buds compared to the others.
It suffered a bit from dought and heat stress, anoybody have an idea what the cause is of my leaf damage?
Waited for the roots to develop more in the little pot before transplanting to the air pot. Started low stress training on the others. They started a little slow at first but going now.
June 7: Tropicana Cookies is growing quickly after the late start. Should be a good strong plant.
June 9: warm today and she’s ready for the first topping to build the manifold. See video.
Tip: spray hose water on the leaves to compensate for the low relative humidity during the daytime. Plants grow much better in the dry air when their leaves get wet. Maybe a couple times a day. Makes a big difference.
June 10: wildfire smoke is back but not as bad as in 2023. At least not here, and not yet. Tropicana Cookies FF growing fast after being topped yesterday. This is going to be a very good plant, I’m sure.
02/07 - Prepped for cloning - applied heavy defoliation - isolated clone cuttings - prepping 15 clones for 4x4 - running mother in veg for about 3 maybe 4 more weeks then flipping into flower (02/25).
First plants are outside. 3 are growing in a large container. They have to share it with an old lady who is stil flowering after 90 days
Two are growing guerilla style between the sunflowers. The rest will get their own pot.
These girls are busting out the seams.
Giving them heroic doses of Calmag and molasses to finish the job off.
I just did a Trichome check and we're at 5-10% amber so they are ready to be pulled. These photoperiod plants are ready in under 100 days.
The smell is wildly pungent .. thankfully I have my exhaust venting outside for the whole world to enjoy ☮️🇨🇦
All pictures are of Citrus Farmer S1'S
One plant seems further along, and is what I am looking for. All reek of orange peel.
All plants were flowered early, and are small. Growth seems slightly slow. But the orange peel is there. I wish I had my pollen right now. It didn't work out this time. But I still have mom. 😈
Day 22: re-trained new branches with LST. Trying to train a clone is proving to be kind of annoying. Whatever. Did a meal of 1250 and it seems a bit too low. Will try and do about 1400 next time. Watered today with the 1250 again. No PM showing up again yet. Sprayed with H2O2 in case.
Day 26: re-training daily now. Reacting very well to about 1500 EC. Run off is still low, but higher than before. Going to raise it a little bit more to get it going before flower. Been spraying every other day with H2O2/H2O. Still no signs of PM. Sprayed with second treatment of neem oil. Growing faster now. Started having to loop around the main stem with LST. Going to be about a 6 week veg time for this guy because of the PM. Probably would have switched by now if it wasn't for the PM. Gives my other non-clones time to catch up.
Day 27: first day of 12/12. Plants will only receive 12hrs of light today. Removed any red lst trainers in anticipation for stretch. Left the wire tied ones alone. Fed at about 1700. With R/O water my pH has actually been staying "perfect". I was using the system with tap before and would always have to adjust it a bit with ph up/down. The company recommends r/o water for a reason. Still no signs of PM and it's been over a week. Did a second spray of neem oil yesterday regardless. Looks great. Already did a heavy defol. a week ago so I think I'll be straight going into flower. I'll defol in a few weeks once the colas are noticeable.
So this plant was a dream, stayed so lush and healthy throughout, grew tallish, strong really bobbly, swollen calyx structure to the buds, really sparkly with crystals, just lovely.
Smell is fruity and pungent, impressive yield, just great.
So this is how things are looking for the ladies at the end of Week 3 of Flower, I have uploaded a video for you guys with all the information, any questions just ask away 👍🏾👊🏾😎
Switch from germination dome to RDWC, th 4th september.
