Blütewoche 8 – King Juice kurz vorm großen Finale Zeitraum: 10. Juli bis 17. Juli Blütetag: 49 bis 56 Blütewoche 8 ist durch und langsam wird's ernst. Die King Juice steuert ganz klar auf die Zielgerade zu. Ich hab diese Woche nicht viel verändert. Ganz entspannt gegossen. Temperatur und Luftfeuchtigkeit kontrolliert. Der Wert lag zwischen 50 und 64 %, also alles im grünen Bereich. Einmal hab ich leicht entlaubt, damit die Luft besser zwischen den Buds zirkulieren kann. Zusätzlich hab ich noch einen Mini-Luftentfeuchter in die Box gestellt. Nicht das die Luftfeuchtigkeit doch nochmal höher wird als gewünscht. Gegen Ende der Woche gab’s dann nochmal eine ordentliche Ladung Wasser, insgesamt 8 Liter und auch die Würmchen haben was zu knabbern bekommen. Die Buds reifen weiter aus, und unter dem Mikroskop sieht man schon was. Einzelne Trichome verfärben sich von klar zu milchig und zum Teil schon leicht bernsteinfarben. Es ist noch dezent, aber der Prozess ist ganz klar im Gange. Ich schätze, eine Woche braucht sie noch, um richtig fertig zu werden. Wenn alles so weiterläuft, wird nächsten Donnerstag geerntet. Ich werde das natürlich noch ein paar Tage weiter beobachten und mich dann endgültig entscheiden aber mein Gefühl sagt, nächste Woche ist es so weit. Die Buds sind der Wahnsinn, richtig schön fett, kompakt, steinhart und voll mit Harz. Sie glitzern, kleben wie Sau und verströmen einen unfassbar fruchtig-süßen Duft 😍 Und was auch cool ist, ein paar Blätter haben sich leicht ins Lilane verfärbt, nicht ganz so stark wie bei ihrer Mutter, aber da geht vielleicht in der letzten Woche noch was. Mal sehen, bin gespannt. Ich kann mich ehrlich gesagt kaum sattsehen. Es ist einfach jedes Mal wieder ein Genuss, die Box aufzumachen und diese Pracht zu bestaunen. Ich bin super happy mit der Entwicklung und freu mich riesig auf die letzte Woche 😊

Week 1 of Flower is officially in the books! 🌸🚀 The stretch has started and the girls are looking absolutely massive and healthy! 🌿🔥 Honestly, I'm completely blown away by the genetics so far – the structure and vigor are just amazing! ✨ Big upgrade this week: I finally installed the 150mm light baffle for the intake. The AC Infinity fan is breathing much easier now, and the overall airflow in the tent has improved massively. Exactly what I needed to combat the summer heat! 🌬️☀️ Current stats are locked in perfectly: EC: 1.7 🎯 pH: 5.8 PPFD: ~650 under the Mars Hydro 💡 I really have to shout out the Athena Blended Line here – the pH and EC stability in the reservoir is just insane! 🙌 It stays rock solid for 7 days. In combination with the AutoPot system, the plant performance is just next level. The growth speed and vitality are absolutely crazy, they are loving this setup! 🥥🏎️💨 The canopy is filling up the scrog net nicely. I’ll keep a close eye on the humidity over the next few days, and then it’s almost time for a proper defoliation in week 3 to keep that airflow moving. ✂️ Let's see how much they stretch next week! 🚀⛽☀️

Well I definitely got my nighttime temps down and got some color and trich production going on this girl and the blueberry as well as the orange sherbet. I absolutely cannot wait to smoke this beast. The colas are massive and I've gone to the Overdrive in prep for the coming flush. Cruise control engaged...

2022-09-03 I planted all 3 Seeds, started one indoors and 2 Outdoors 2 Outdoors were attacked by the Cat- and did not survive The indoor Girls developed very fast, and after 4 Weeks she went Outdoors too. There she showed great Performance. Easy to grow, no big attention needed. She was pleaded with her light prefertilsed Soilmix, and n eeded only afew Feedings in Stretch and i think one Bloom Feeding in Flower. After only 6 full Weeks of Flower, she war ready to Harvest. harbvesting was very easy here. Buds are thick, and dense. ( and sticky). The ratio from leaves to Buds are Phenomenal--- economic Plant---- nearly to no waste Only some branches, a handfull of leaves, and a big amount of lovely smelling Flowers The smell yes,,,, she smells like Pink grapefruit, and Peaches...... I got busy and missed my week 2 of flower update. But here’s week three. This strain has been putting in work. The stretch is decent and I feel like they still have a little more stretch in them. I did a little leaf stripping but planning on doing a lot more in the next day or so. There is a decent amount of tops coming through the first layer of trellis. I’ll keep the girls happy and hopefully she’ll make me happy on harvest day. All in all no complaints about this strain as of yet.

*increased PPM to 750 lets see if it doesn’t give them more tip burn. *Humidity seems to spike all the way to 80% hopefully it causes no issues. *Couldnt see any male parts on the plants maybe it was just calys sites. *NO Smell yet

During week 13 I stop giving any nutrients in order to FLUSH the plants. The 12 AK-47 plants from SERIOUS SEEDS are in their last week of flowering (=9th week) and have developed into huge little trees. The size of the colas is ASTOUNDING to me at this stage, bigger than anything I have seen on plants in 7 liter pots. Unfortunately I see first signs of bud-rot on some plants, therefore its time to soon harvest the plants. The humidity during the late stages of flowering has been much too high due to bad weather outside. The high humidity with the huge size of the buds are the perfect circumstances for bud-rot beginning to grow INSIDE the buds (it always starts at the stem and grows to the outside). I spot a yellow sugar leave on a top and pull it out, since I feel no resistance at all, I take a closer look and open up the bud carefully. I spot grey mold at the center of the bud growing out of the stem and want to start to cry...my worst fear has come true...BUD-ROT is inside my beautiful plants! The only thing to do now is to cut off any infected parts and finish the grow as quickly as possible. The SANlight Q5W-Gen.2 LED-lights are still in full-power mode and some plants now show signs of light-bleaching at the very top of the plants. This means the plants grow white new flowers instead of green ones. The plants look like they have small snow-caps on top of the plants...an AMAZING THING to see. This can be avoided by dimming the LEDs during the last week of flowering or by hanging the LEDs higher. The white parts of the bud have the same quality as the rest, therefore i dont mind a little light-bleaching. What makes my heart hurt is the parts with bud-rot. Since mold can cause cancer when burned and inhaled, it is of utmost importance to cut off any infected parts off the plants when they are harvested. This means I will get much less medicine that I hoped...😢 At least the quality will be GREAT, since the buds are glistening with trichomes now and they SMELL AMAZING. The aroma is heavy and thick and lightly sweet with hints of Sandalwood...simply DELICIOUS!

This week we started to flush after the first signs of proper cloudy trichome cover. Not long now! Plants have been quite heavily defoliated in the top 2/3 of each branch, in an effort to maximize flower growth in the last stages. Considering using ice for the final 48hr blackout. Any ideas welcome. Still piling on mass at a surprising rate and all stinking heavily. GLue Gelato has some sweetness and heavy gas notes, and the cream Caramel, well like name like shtank haha. Close to first ever harvest. It's business time!

She's developing quickly. She's changing visibly. And now... she's starting to look like a plant that's very seriously thinking about the final chapter. The flowers are getting bigger. The main cola is absolutely huge. The hairs are changing. The leaves are beginning to fade. And the entire plant is giving us that unmistakable feeling: "Okay... we're getting close now." 😂💚 This girl isn't hanging around. She's moving. Fast. And I absolutely love watching it. So this week, we're going to give this beast the spotlight she deserves. Let's make her shine. 🍮❄️🔥🌸 ──────────────────────── 🔥 The Beast Is Awake Let's start with the obvious. This girl is moving. And she's moving fast. Last week we were already talking about her entering the final chapter. This week? She's making that chapter much easier to see. The plant is changing. The flowers are becoming increasingly mature. The pistils are changing colour. The foliage is beginning to fade. And the overall structure is starting to look like she's preparing herself for the final stretch. She's not slowing down. She's not sitting there waiting for us. She's doing what she does. Growing. Building. Maturing. And apparently... trying to finish the story before some of her neighbours even get to the interesting part. 😂🍮🔥 Fair enough, girl. We're watching. ──────────────────────── 🌸 That Main Cola... WOW Okay. We have to talk about this. Because the main cola on this girl is HUGE. 😂🔥🌸 Seriously. It's one of those flowers where you look at the plant and immediately your eyes go straight toward it. It's massive. It's substantial. It's beautifully developed. And now that the plant is starting to mature around it, that main cola becomes even more impressive. The structure is there. The density is there. The flower is there. And she's still hanging in there beautifully. No drama. No complaints. Just one enormous Chem Brûlée flower sitting there saying: "Yeah... I built this." 😂🍮💚 And honestly? She has every right to be proud of it. ──────────────────────── 🌿 She's Starting To Fade Another big change this week is the foliage. She's starting to fade. And in the context of everything else we're seeing, that makes perfect sense. The plant is moving further into maturity. The flowers are developing. The pistils are changing. The overall appearance is shifting. And now we're beginning to see the leaves changing along with the rest of the plant. This is one of those moments where you really appreciate having weekly photographs. Because the transition isn't always dramatic from one day to the next. But compare the plant with where she was a few weeks ago... and suddenly you realize: "Oh damn. She's really moving." 😂💚 The beautiful green we were looking at earlier is now gradually giving way to the colours of a plant approaching the end of her journey. And I'm enjoying watching every part of it. ──────────────────────── ? The Hairs Are Changing And the pistils are joining the conversation. We're seeing more and more colour coming through those beautiful flowers. The fresh white hairs from earlier stages are gradually being replaced by more mature-looking tones. Cream. Yellow. Orange. Brown. And increasingly curled-in pistils. ?🌸 Again, we're not using pistil colour alone to decide anything. The plant is the complete picture. But when you combine those changing hairs with: 🌸 Bigger flowers ❄️ Increasing resin 🌿 Fading foliage 🔥 Mature-looking structures 🍮 Overall progression ...the message becomes pretty clear. She's moving toward the finish. And she's doing it quickly. ──────────────────────── ❄️ The Frost Is Still There Of course... we can't talk about Chem Brûlée without talking about the frost. 😂❄️ Because even while the plant is changing and beginning to fade, the flowers are still looking beautiful under the camera.
