Heavy defoliation day 15 of flower. Netting was causing more trouble than help so I removed it. Adding power bloom every other watering. Had to defoliate again on the 21st day of flour.

Week 8 begins. Candy Kush is doing great, nice buds super frosty, sticky, heavy and dense. I continue to be impressed by this light and how this plant has grown under it.

Purple Goat Cheese from Goat Genetics is looking good she was off to a slow start but has came back an is growing good now Ending week 3 the Purple Goat Cheese is doing great she has been topped an is growing happily an healthy under the fold 6 from medic grow this really is a awesome light

Just another week of flowering. Buds have set pretty good and I will be defoliating/taking clones and pinching off anything that will be larf soon. I think the "mainline approach may be effective.. very even budding across each main shoot. I usually just bend and train until theres enough tops, but they don't always flower evenly. Nute wise, since the buds started, I added in some liquid koolbloom to the mix and stopped the tarantula and Piranha powders. I have been feeding three separate one minute intervals per light period, and they're in one gallons. 2mins a night and they were getting dry, 3 is a bit heavy on the runoff so hoping they start drinking more as they get going more.

Week 6 was somewhat challenging. Some of the plants showed signs of deficiency again, and throughout the week, I had to balance things out with repositioning and individual fertilization. This approach has worked well so far. Currently, all the plants are back on track and growing vigorously every day. My PPFD level is now around 700 PPFD. I haven't changed the watering amount much, but I gave some plants additional nutrient water instead of just plain water. Naturally, I also did a lot of defoliation in the lower areas and removed unnecessary shoots this week. Afterwards, I applied foliar fertilizer for the last time in this cycle. This time it was a mixture of Acti Vera, Alg a Mic, and Boomboom spray from Biotabs. As always, it's pretty tight in my tent, but I'm quite satisfied with the general canopy of all the plants. A significant number of buds are already developing, which makes me optimistic about the future. I hope the next week goes a bit smoother, but overall, everything is fine.

Week 8: Everything is going great. I didn't plan on taking them all out again till they got chopped, but decided to get them out one at a time today and give them a good thorough defoliation, peeled off any undergrowth and water and feed them all. Temps remain completely under control and no longer an issue, even in 90 degree weather here. I've continued to alternate between feeding and just water, cal mag and fish shit. The only plant of the 6 to show any deficiencies was the #1 Skunk. Every leaf on leaf chart looks same to me lol. I upped today's feeding to 3/4 strength instead of half strength. If I had to guess, I would say that this is the last feeding for the Creme de la Chem, Strawberry Couch and the Double Grape. Those three will likely all fall in the 70-80 day harvest range and those three are at day 58. Not 100% on the #1 Skunk or not, it may get one more feeding, along with the Watermelon Skittles. The Fruit Punch? Well there is a chance I will be smoking cured Creme de la Chem before that one gets chopped lol. It will continue to get fed for a while as buds still very under developed. Today's defoliation was barely anything for a couple plants like the Watermelon Zkittles. A few big fan leaves blocked bud sites, but the Skunk needed thinned out badly and I took a good 20 minutes to go around the outside them come in from over top to really get in there and try to make some airflow and better light penetration. These are definitely drinking at different rates but in order to not be mixing up stuff daily, I feed them all on the same day and the couple that still had some weight to them just get less. I think these will all meet and exceed my 2 ounce goal per plant and 5 of the 6 after topping and training have conformed to the types of plants I really want to grow with the space I have. Thats 6-8 tops on a short compact plant. The Fruit Punch went off the reservations waiting till day 50 to start flower and is acting like this is a 3 plant grow not a 6. But shoving it in corner and putting short Skunk plant by it on bucket to raise up canopy along with raising one side of my TSL2000 and lowering other side towards shorter plants appears to be working great. Its great to be thinking about the flush. Having plants out, I did check trichomes on a couple just for the fun of it and mainly clear so got couple weeks or more for most of these.

So this is the start of the fourth week with me. I find this very engulfing. I like spending an hour with them a day and move the little ones out of the bigger fan leaves shadow by tucking the larger ones away giving the little ones a chance to get more light and flourish. I’m noticing more the strain my one girl went through compared to the others, her leaves being smaller than the other girls. I’ve tried to give them the best environment I can and realize I still play a huge role in their life. This is my first grow and I love it. I hope they grow up well and flourish. They were fed last week and had a bit of nutrient burn so this week I gave them just water. I’m not sure how much longer I should veg but I hear in the scrog game the longer you veg the better. Hoping for the best for everyone on GrowDiaries and their grows!

PICTURE VIDEO UPDATE - 10/28/2020 Day 49 - 10/26/2020 Bud site established. Nice big base in relation to my tent. Both nice and strong with new LST + Accidental HST in the last week and a half. Made the best Screen for a ScrOG i've made so far but the accidental breaks during LST/HST didn't heal up in time for me to risk a snap getting them in the net. Good news is the screen is ready and waiting for the next grow (Might go back to photoperiod) Very excited to watch the buds grow so i gave them their final major tie down and defoliation to get the light/air flow set so the final weeks can be hands off. Gave a feeding of Molasses/Water on the 24th and will give another full nute mix feed today or tomorrow (27th/28th) Going to take pictures of the Chocolate Mint OG Autos and give them a final snip/clip down today and get that diary updated by the end of the week as well 🙌 Thanks for checking out this week! Alright grow cycle, mistakes, improvements, etc... She did stay in veg for too long, her growth was slow and not the best and so she took quite long, next time i'll be there from the beginning so I can take care of her throughout. But her growth is really fun. It is a tall growing sativa with fairly tight noding when trained accordingly, producing long filled colas. The buds grow fairly dense and fluffly but do air out a little when dried. Trichome production was pretty impressive as well as terpene production. She had thrips since her early days but did not seem to mind them at all. I did spray them initially but once flower started I stopped. I believe predatory mites might have been feeding on the pupae in the soil, if that is what this specific species of thrips did, the reason I say that is I could never see adults only larvae. Whatever the case maybe they were there but the population never really increased. Something I did not mention during the grow is that those plants were played music during the days, music that is apparently developed for plants. The 10L pot was WAY too small for a true sustainable living organic and to provide enough space for the plant, that was a mistake, I'd say a 20L would be the bare minimum and still. The bigger the better. The hempy transfer did not hurt the plant and I believe even helped to some extent, BUT, I am still running test on the subject and so can't confirm anything, here are my observations Roots did not colonize the perlite, a little on top and the sides but that was it, I was expecting to see a big root mass in there. I believe hempy are great for salt fert as it hold a soup of nutes where the plant can feed from since the coco only holds very little Whereas in nature most nutrient are in the top soil where the highest amount of decomposition happens, this is where the highest microbial activity happens and so where the plant will find food. Living organic is trying to reproduce nature and so there is no need for the plant's roots to gather at the bottom of the pot. Although it could have potentially provided the plant access to a larger amount of water and possibly more oxygenation of the pot. Those are all theories, please speak up if you have other proofs. In conclusion , unless i get proven otherwise by someone or my latest running experiment , I will not be using hempies again as I believe it brings more complication and issues than a simple fabric pot. The lights, The 600w at the start was good, then I decided to add a 400w...😂 That was completely overkill and not necessary. Waste of electricity. And they started suffering from too much light it seems at some point, I raised the light by a good 30 cm and they were fine. 600 is more than enough. I am happy about how the soil performed but it has room for improvements. As for the watering technique I have been watering large ammount every few days, next time I will be giving constant small amount of water each day and a soak every week or so, I believe the soil might perform better under those conditions. She was also an easy plant to harvest whit her long colas which had very little foliage, I do trim in excess as I like my buds extra clean but the buds are not excessively bushy. The trims were use to make some bubble hash, around 100g of wet trims yielded around 1.5-2g of bubble hash. I did add a negative effect but only because it wouldn't give me a smile otherwise, but to be honnest it barely dries your mouth. The soil is going to be recycled and reused in a next grow. I can't think of anything else at the moment but if you have any question don't hesitate.

Seed 1 this plant is crazy and Growing super quickly never seen 30cm stretch in 1 week. Seed 2 is not as tall but more bushy with few steams same size tall. Very nice strain so far pleasure to grow.
