Where did the time go, cannot believe a month nearly went by without posting… this week marks my half way point, no more nutrients just 2lt of water, I was away last week and my babies did not get any water they just basked in the sunlight and warm evenings. Today I did not get a chance to analyse was caught up with just wanting to catalogue and but I noticed no signs of any problems, just that she’s itching to be harvest but I need to flush for a month, I dosed them with so much nutrients to a point, I was feeding them 250ml of nutrients only, however before leaving I watered my babies with 2lt and then they experienced a week without water nor nutrients. I will analyse from next week. Tutorials here I come

Starting to ripen up probably another week or two on gorilla glue and strawberry pie the grapefruit is just now packing on bud so I’d say maybe 4-5 weeks left on grapefruit. Little bit of amber showing on the gorilla glue. Mostly clear yet on the strawberry pie. Overall happy with gorilla glue and strawberry pie. Grapefruit not so impressive yet. The smell is quite strong at this point and is getting stronger by the day with the really sweet notes of strawberry and the earthy medicinal smell of the gorilla glue.

Decent little stacks starting to form. Awesome aroma. Good frost production. At this point I was falling in love with the strain just due to its propensity to be grown under less than epic conditions. They took to the scrog nicely, despite the looseness of the trellis.

Plant has been getting straight pH balanced water this last week and minimal nutes. It is showing some slight nute burn so I let off a bit and raised the light canopy about 6”. I discovered that what I thought was a calcium or potassium deficiency was actually a rookie grower error by me. I have an RO system that I use to water all my strains in the grow room including this one, but when adding nutes to the water, it takes too long so I had been filling them up with well water. When I had originally tested the well water, I must had used a faulty testing agent as after testing it this last week, I was showing a pH of 7.5 vs. my RO of 6.2. Thus, every time I was adding nutes (multiple times a week) I was significantly fluctuating the pH between regular feedings and nutrient additions. To make matters worse, when I originally thought it was nute burn, I flushed each plant with well water and likely caused additional stress. Anyway, I have since learned that the well water needs to be treated, I only utilize RO water the last few days and plan to do so over this next week. Also, I have turned off the CO2 system as I was starting to see signs of heat stress on a couple of the strains (Plant #1). The literature I have reviewed suggested that these strains might be able to handle heat closer to 90F but it was also causing issues with high humidity so when I added a dehumidifier, it pushed the day temp to between 90-92F and the overnight temps were not getting low enough (maybe 85F or so). Maybe I could leave out the dehumidifier, but I was getting rH of 70% and didn’t want to risk any bud rot or mildew growth. So for now, I have turned off the CO2 and am getting high temps of 81F with 60% humidity and overnight temps of 74F and 50% humidity. Plant #1 had some heat related curling of leaves as well as some of the lower leaves showing impact of the pH fluctuations. My hope is we will be steady until harvest. Plant #2 has shown the least signs of stress and is fattening up its buds very nicely. Late in the week, some of the leaves started turning brown from the pH issue but my hope is that with RO water only, we will be on the right track. Over the next few weeks I will start monitoring the trichomes for a nice milky color for harvesting.

Puppy Love has been a gassy, citrus, bottle rocket plant. Main cola dominated, topping would be better in future grows. She smells like that smashed orange in a gas station parking lot. Being that i have grown SYC I can see and smell many similarities. Very stout, uniform, and that something unusual in the smells like SYC. She went dark for 48 hours on day 79, chopped Day 81. Hung whole, should dry fast. 3 weeks for weights and smoke reports fellow herbal enthusiasts!

Week 4 of the reveg. And we’re almost there👍. We could flip half the plants to flower now but the others are gonna need another week, maybe 2 before they’re ready. This weeks mostly been about chopp’n out the old buds at the base of the stems and spreading branches. About half of em are still workn on branching while the other half has shown vegetative maturity and remain ready for flower at any time. Kinda predictable - the white widow is again, on beast mode next to the others. Northern lights and SOG Lookn good too. Blueberrys got a little more work to do and the boogie nights still needs to find its way as well. Other than that - the system is still purr’n like a kitten and the plants seem to be loving the Berkana nutes. Hopefully not much longer n the veg. Cycle so that we can finally bring these strains to a full flower close.👍 Background This ones tied to part 2 of the pollen chuck. They were supposed to be a clone run for pollination but the mothers all reveg’d due to a timer incident and high stupidity. These will be the inaugural flowering run of the revamped dutchy system. Die zwei gehen jetzt so richtig ab, lasse sie jetzt noch bis Sonntag in Ruhe und habe mir dann das erste richtige entlauben überlegt. Die höheren Triebe habe ich jetzt schon mal unter dem Netz weiter gebogen. So langsam bekomme ich einen richtigen Urwald, habe heute noch mal den ein oder anderen Trieb unter das netzt gebunden, denke am Mittwoch werde ich dann mal entlauben. Würde jetzt nur ungern das Wachstum Unterbrechen.

📆 Semana 9 El cultivo entra en la fase de engorde avanzado, manteniendo una buena absorción aunque empezando a estabilizarse, con el coco aún equilibrado. La planta continúa enfocada en aumentar densidad y rematar el peso final de las flores. Los cogollos alcanzan una alta compactación, endureciéndose progresivamente, mientras la resina sigue en aumento y cubre de forma más densa toda la superficie. Se aprecia un leve foxtailing en algunas puntas, algo sutil y típico en esta fase, sin impacto en la calidad general del cultivo. As I mentioned earlier this strain is may be the easiest I have ever grown with a decent harverst in terms of weight. It took 104 days from seed to harvest and she produced 1.200 grams of wet bud, which will be around 20% - 25% of dried weight. The smell is great, the buds are heavy on thc and excellent looking. Recommending it for a not experienced grower definitely. On the downside it did not yield the 340 grams I have managed to harverst from Barney's LSD Auto, or as I want to call it the Champion, but its easier than Pineapple Express and can produce more weight.

Welcome to my Slurircane Diary sponsored by MSNL & Spider-Farmer Week 7, early flip and attempt at reveg into early week 8 but decided I liked the look of her cola potential and decided to throw her into flowering. From the reveg attempt I thought a ratio on/off would be best if it leaned more on the off, so a 13-11 off / on was set for early week 8 and till fattening (when the stretch is over, 'pre flower) This is a bit of a weird one for me, well more a 1st. I'm not 100% sure. But I do remember this getting 3 13.5hr days as did my whole tent. As my cheap timer ran for an extra hrs off when it was meant to be on. So, put it into a flip. And I tried for over a week to reveg, I'm sure if I pushed on. I would of gotten to reveg. (I'm not sure how long it takes, am very pleased though with this spectrum even without the IR that the flip time is quick. So, after a week 7 was finished. I decided to push on to a 13-11 off/on to induce her. I'll increase it to 13-11 on/off in fattening. Sadly has the pre flip and then attempt at reveg make all her nodes very stiff. And near to LST. After pre flower I'll hard defol and attemp to distance the colas. Surprisingly with her been a dom indica her leafs are very Stavia style. Very thin. Would make an ideal candidate for scrog. She is very healthy and been the most responsive with co2/heat. Although growth was stalled from my reveg attempt, I'm sure i cut a good few CM from her Height by reversing it again. I should of looked up how long it takes to reveg 1st. Lessons learnt. I still have an amazing pheno. (I'm a few weeks ahead in Real Time) Defoliation So, this was done lots on this girl. As my plans for her were changed due to poor attention. So, start of wk 7, what I thought was still a few weeks out from me flipping. But, after my abandoned attempt of reveggin. She was in limbo and I decided to risk it with a hard defoliation. (Looks like it was done in pre flower, it wasn't, It was just coming back into veg, but would of taken weeks to get it growing fully again, and at looking I'm happy with it so I pushed again with my Defol to get colas. You can find this on grow weed easy "full tutorial for flowering") am gonna leave her now until she's out of pre flower, she's 35cm or so tall. I don't see putting on much height. As my reveg attempt will for sure hanmer her stretch. Diet Was planning on taking Alga Grow off for the last 10 days r so off grow. So, I only had a few days off it, and its on Alga Bloom now. Each of the ladies looks perfectly healthy. Which makes me very happy. However, I'm a little undecided about defoliation... but the question has already been asked. I'll get an answer right away.

5/3 WATERED EVERYTHING WITH A SHOT GLASS. STUNTED PURPLE PUNCH THAT TOTALLY SRIED OUT GOT HALF A SHOT GLASS. Doesn't seem possible but the plants look bigger and better than they did yesterday. Cups are really drying out fast. Takes a while for it to drink up that little shot glass of water. Sits right on top for a while. I know they'll tell me when they're ready to transplant but I'm planning about a week week and a half until transplant to the 3's. I'm moving my cage and getting supports setup ahead of time. Soil is properly stored. Need to sanitize grow bags and tools. I'm super excited for this year. At least this year I don't have to start out fixing others problems from clones. 5/4 Plants still continuing to grow at a rapid pace. Stunted purple punch is doing better. Plants seem like they are using more water. Soil seemed dry. Ill stop qnd ask my buddy but everything LOOKS awesome. UPDATE: I stopped and showed my buddy some pictures and videos and after getting some advice I'm considering increasing water intake on the 10th planet and the blueberry cheese. He said I could go up to 1 1/2 shot glasses or even two and he didn't think I'd see problems. Just watch for run off. I figured I'd weigh the dry cup of soil and see what the other plants weigh before I make my decision. This dude has definitely helped in the past and hasn't been wrong. I think either way it would be fine. I got a QUICK peak at them around 3pm and they were all "praying to the sun" and their was company so I didn't weigh the plants considering in that glance they looked even better than before! 5/5 SOMEWHERE HERE I MESSED UP THE DATE AND I CANT SEEM TO FIND WHETE SO IM JUST CORRECTING IT HETE AND MOVING FORWARD. I weighed a dry cup of soil which weighed about 180-190 grams today. One of the 10th planet seedlings weighed in at like 190 so they definitely are getting a dry cycle and need more water. Same with the Blueberry cheese. They were light and are growing like crazy. Thing is they look so perfect I don't wanna change anything. I spoke to my commercial buddy and he said I could increase to two shot glasses without issue he thought. I decided on a shot glass and a half for the 10th planet and Blueberry Cheese Cake. I talked to another grower (my buddies mom whos very familiar with the strain) about Barney's purple punch and I guess they look good and take a while to really "take off". When I weighed some of the purple punch the weight of a small plant was in the 220's. I decided to try 'half a shot glass' instead of a full one for the purple punch. UPDATE: I watered between 5am and 6am and went to check around 11. It's 11:11 right now! I wish for a successful harvest and healthy plants! This morning the plants seemed a little droopy. It could've been in my head but looking at them after watering and they look substantially better. Leaves up! Praying to the sun! It's not going to be long until the 10th planet and Blueberry Cheese will need to be transplanted. I just want to make sure I've got a solid rootball before I even think of transplanting. 5/6 WOW. Adjusting the water made the plants take off faster! I felt the cups and they want more room! Unfortunately I left my soil in the garage. I'm wondering how long it will take to warm up otherwise these girls would be on their new temporary 3 gallon homes. Purple punch REALLY took off. Might be good to give the soil a day or two to warm up. Tomorrow's my wife's birthday though....hope she likes transplanting cannabis....that was a joke. UPDATE: I sanitized a tote and mixed 3 part soil fox farm ocean forest, happy frog and 707 in a bin. I then chose the blueberry cheese cake to test for transplant. I was afraid plants were dry but I stupidly went ahead anyhow. I tried the cut the solo cup method and it wouldn't cut down all the way. Anyway u thought i lost that first one but I didn't. Not yet anyway. 45 mins later and they looked great. Still I had put everything away and decided to give the others a few more days. Plus my wife's birthday is tomorrow. I did get some outdoor prep done. 5/7 NO TRANSPLANT SHOCK. All 5 blueberry cheese are in their new homes and loving it. It's my wife's birthday so I'm gonna have to wait until tomorrow to transplant the 10th planet and maybe a couple more for the purple punch. We'll see. Watered the plants in solos. Purple punch got half a shot glass. 10th planet got a full one. Soil should be nice and moist for the transplant. Oh and that ripping the solo cup tip sucks. It NEVER goes all tge way to the bottom and it's like thicker or something down there. Important to have slim scissors or something to snip that tiny bottom piece at the end where it tapers. 5/8 Blueberry Cheese Cake is doing great and doesn't seem like it has any stress. Didn't water. Successfully transplanted 10th planet. Nice white roots. Looks like it's going to be a good year. More wotlrk to do. 5/9 10th planet is looking GREAT! Transplants have gone great this year. Purple punch will be transplanted tonight or tomorrow. I watered the purple punch with less than a shot glass. I'd like to get them transplanted today. I have an idea this is going to be a good season. UPDATE: Went to the house around 6 and brought in a couple more bags of soil so that I can finish my transplants tomorrow. Team #nowater lol seems to be doing great lol. I'll give then water tomorrow. As long as they aren't doing so good. With everything that's going on seeing these succeed feels great. Healthiest plants I've grown so far.
