Merlin Mintz Autoflower is growing great. She just started with her first pistils. She should start stretching very soon. She is looking really healthy, and grow well. I did some selective defoliation in center of the plant. I also been lst on branches as needed. We had a mega load of rain over the last few days and sadly I lost a huge NYD to stem rot. Anyways I new February in Durban was going to be a challenge. The soil doesn't drain very well where I live and unfortunately it just got too wet for too long. All the other plants are looking healthy and I did do treatments around their crowns with some peroxide followed by fungicide (organic oils). The haze x cheese is looking epic this week, buds are getting really big. Spotted some PM on some lower branches so I cleared out some undergrowth and have been pulling the odd leaves I see. Nothing too bad. Humidity has been 100% at points. Getting awesome hints of limone as I walk through the garden. Can't wait!

Coming throw - we put a few in a 20liter - going for a few tiers. Tent has opened up some space from harvesting this week so should see the remainders beef up some more. Weird that I have flies in this tent. Harmless but I think the sweet aroma maybe have something g to do with it - or coffee grinds -

Week 2 : Colorado Cookies in Biotabs Biotabs are drying much quicker than the other pots because they're closer to the fan, so i'll tune the air control in by having the fan pointing upwards instead. They got watered with micro from my very own specialized micro , one tablespoon per L, aloe gel from my kitchen plant, and (regretfully) a bit of lemon juice to pH it. didnt realise the organic would be no match for the aloe pH wise, so i'm spraying 1ml of my very own amino concentrate directly on the soil , not on the plant. i do one spray in the morning one spray at night, for 10 days to try to get the pH normalised to 6 , the night time is just enough to mix one spray can of 250 ml with 1/4 ml of amino concentrate, and have some left over. i added maybe 160 ppm of aloe to the watering. I sprayed the leaves once or twice max with 1ml/L spray and 120 cal mag on day 5. VPD went from week one 0.6 to 0.8 to pretty stable at 1.0. got my laser thermometer in the mail, so that really helps ! very even phenos across the colorado cookies so far, three nodes, very straight, very hungry. they seem to be enjoying having the roots a bit too cold more than the others. in soil ppm went from 340 in week one to 420 in week 2 🚀

Hey Guys! Super excited this week! I've really been wanting to try growing outdoors, so I built a cheap hoop house! Got most of this stuff for the frame from Lowes under 300$. All the soil products I got from GrowGreenMI. Some really cool people out there. One thing I'm super worried about is drainage. Right now those holes are about 4 feet deep and they've got about 4 inches of water in them already. What's been cautioned is that, eventually, about 2 months in these plants roots will grow and reach the bottom and cause root rot to form. One of the biggest things I was trying to be wary of was causing root rot. This was also the biggest precautionary measure I took when mixing the soil. Adding the extra perlite, coco, and clay pebbles. Best advice right now is to build the soil up on the holes another 16 to 18 inches and possible stick a PVC pipe down to the lowest drainage point of the hole to allow some of that natural occurring water to evaporate. Any advice anyone has on it is welcomed! Making a compost tea for the soil outdoors, will probably put 2 cups in each RDWC bucket as well and let that do it's magic for a day or so before nutrient change. Raised the bed about 14 inches as well! All the seeds sank! Off to a good start! Lol

Hi guys, At the end of the story, I am very happy with the whole cycle and finally the outcome, since I almost killed everything in there 😂 Fat Banana is a very nice fruity-kush strain ,with a genetic background tracing back to OG Kush x Chiquita Banana. It is a heritage with a lot of power behind it, this can be seen in the potency of Fat Banana’s bud, which can reach up to 25%+ THC in just 9 weeks! When grown with an expert hand (NOT MINE😅). The potential here is great! I did have problems throughout the cycle overfertilizing the plant. This is one of the strain that did notice more my mistake, can be clearly seen on the final product. Infact, a good part of the flowers, went for bubble hash, I kept a bit to try it out because the smell its amazing. I topped her and then, because of an accidents I mainlined her, first to try the Mainlining training and 2nd as it was the only one I had, I wanted to grow her. Probably If I wouldnt have messed up with the ferilizer I would have had a much better final product, this time, talking about quantity and quality. The whole plants were dried for 18 days after which they were finished in jars for another 6 weeks, if I dont fell sooner. Gonna grow this strain again 80% I would like to thank Grow Diaries for this amazingly-organized community they have created, where we all can learn a lot, and share something we really love. Thanks to everyone who stopped by and looked at the diary, squeezed the like button or comment the diary. 13/12 I'VE MADE MY FIRST RUN OF BUBBLE HASH! Very very happy with the end result, did not weight anything yet because is still wet big time, I lightly squeezed it a bit, before let it drying on parchment on a cardboard. The smell it's just absolutely crazy. I can smell strong citrus notes in the 120µm but the 90µm and 73µm explodes with crazy-sweet note. While the 25µm (did not use the 43µm) where I did collect most of the hash, smell like good and sweet hash, nothing crazy like the previous ones but a very buttery like consistency that makes me want to eat it like this...dont ask me why...even though I know you all probably felt this way too... Anyway, the paper sheet says it all about timing, washes and µm used for the extractions, but just in case I'll explain it down here. I have done 3 wash with different timing. 1º wash: 5 min only to get the most brittle trichome heads 2º wash: 10 min stardard 3º wash: 30 min to stock up a bit 😅 I could have done an extra wash for sure and get more out, but I was running out of time so...I will update with the dry weight, it was not the only wash I've done, that were just too many grades to weight up..so I chose to do it once all dry! Week 7 there hasn’t been any changes for either of the girls. Girl #1 is still looking the same. It seems she has finally stopped stretching. Looking forward to seeing her bulk up in the coming weeks. Girl #2 still hasn’t showed any signs of flowering. I’m gonna continue to be patient with her in hopes of her just being a very late bloomer. Everything has been running smoothly. I will start to introduce bloom nutes in the next coming weeks. I didn’t expect girl#1 to get so big but I’m not complaining. This has been such a pleasing and educational experience. Thank all of those who have viewed my diary. Thank you again for your support.

FBT2402 had a rough life. She had mites the whole grow. She was already flowering when I figured it out. So I could not treat the flower then. She has a strong piney, citrus, and sweet smell. It looks like it will be a few ounces once it is all done. Day 49 Plants had a little transplant shock from last week as they didn’t really grew much taller. I’m not 100% satisfied with how the veg stage went so far, but I learned a lot and will do better next time. I attached some gardening wire to some of the branches to create a more even canopy. Haven’t watered since last Saturday (transplant) as the soil is still wet and starts to dry out slowly now. Most likely I’ll flip them into flower in 2 weeks around Day 63. I appreciate every advice 🙏🏾

A-Week 10(Day 74), B&C-Week 10(Day70) A- Still fattening up, took a Growmie’s advice, she was a little over fed, eased back this week on the nutrients and just used water and Sensi CalMag Extra. Gave her a regular dose Friday and she seems good, no new discoloured/burnt leaves. Tricomes are still showing as clear and cloudy mixed in with a few amber here and there. Watching closely to when I feel she is done, then I will start a water flush cycle for the last few feeds… B- Is looking great, doesn’t seem to have slowed down one bit, hard to tell sometimes when you are looking at them so frequently, but week to week you can see the stack grow 😍 Defoliated a little, and pulled her branches down a bit to let in more light, otherwise she’s chugging along! C- Is making me wonder how much she will produce?! Big colas all around, from 10-14 inches long 🤩Stacking very well, and loving the Indo Nutrient line. She’s a big drinker, takes almost a full gallon every 2.5 days. I figure it will be at least 1-2 weeks longer to harvest than A… Happy Gardening Growmie’s 🌱😎💨

Definitely got some length on them this week with one in particular that exploded with growth. These are only on day ten but I won’t be home on day 14 so I did it now. They all appear to be loving life so far. but this is my first grow and not really sure if everything up to par. There may be a deficiency in one of the ladies, I'm not completely sure. Day 13- One of the four ladies appears to be stunted and isn’t growing with the others. I’m gonna let her ride into next week and see where she goes. If I can’t get her growing I’m chucking her. Day 14- two of the ladies have lime green spots and curling tips. Fed regular ph balanced water with 3ml of CalMag to try and see if I can fix any of this mess. My fourth ladie appears to be mutated rather than deficient.

01/31 start of a new week they got watered with some goodness this morning they look pissed every night I cut into roots this morning hoping that helps 02/02 watered 02/05 emergency transplant last night had to break up the bound up roots. Watered lightly this morning with mychrobe complete aloe Fulpower and silica
