It’s a bit sad to realize that "Autumn" has officially arrived. The trichomes have gone cloudy, the leaves are fading, and I’m out here wiping away a tear. This girl, whom I’ve been spending every day with for almost half a year, is finally wrapping up her cycle. Well, it’s been a beautiful ride, and Think Fast proved to be an incredibly strong and resilient strain. I’ll break down my full thoughts and review of the genetics during harvest week. By the way, the next update will drop right after the dry, I know you guys are all waiting to see the final dry weight. But for now, it's time to flush. The lights are dialed down a bit, the reservoir is filled with pure RO water, and my heart is filled with pure, bittersweet blues. Don't lose track of me, we’ll meet again in about 15 days! I started germination of 3 Amnesiac beans on 29/12/2020. I pre moistened my rockwool cubes with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plugs were just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made holes. Than I sowed my beans into the holes. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up. Lightly filled the holes in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plugs into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination. Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see some sprouts. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plugs planted into some 1 gallon pots. Plus get these ladies situated into their home. Cant wait! Some background information on my first run with Amnesiac. She was super powerful straight out the gate. Hammering off quite the amount of veg growth in 6 weeks. She was a little stingy on nitrogen and really wanted s slightly decreased dose from my norm but nothing to extreme. She was the tallest in the room going into flower and she was quite the stretcher. She gained about 250% size after the first 2 weeks of bloom. Leading to me supercropping her at that point. She didnt mind the hst one bit! Was back to growing and turning her bud sites up withing about 12 hours. She resulted in a great quantity of high quality flowers. Very fat chunky colas just coated in trichomes. Looking to knock her out of the park even further this time around!

This is the start of week 9 and she is doing GREAT!! Pistols are turning nice and pretty 😍! Buds are fattening nicely, and the thing im most proud of, no sighs of defiency!! She is a very good plant to grow. And is going to give me some very nice smoke!!

They're all very healthy looking, one has some slight yellowing which should disappear soon with our change but all plants are extremely small for their size.. we've been letting these dry out completely between watering so I'm convinced there's a genetic component to this. We've had a few other strains start extra slow for us in the past and one in particular that started slow and then took off like wildfire around week 5 so I'm not too concerned ..they're each using 3gal square (plastic) pots willed with fresh Promix-HP..they're getting a little bit of Big Bloom with smaller amounts of Grow Big with every other watering now and this has corrected the odd hue we noticed around wk3.. Week three all the girls are strong and healthy no problems. Besides the sherbet cream cakes seem to have some problems with the transplant possibly you know what I’m not exactly sure of what went wrong with them, but they both are smaller, but much slower growth rate in all other strains I have planted Besides that everybody is still nice and happy. The girls are still getting foliage fed every four days with pure protein, soluble kelp meal as well as getting boogie brew, heavy harvest tea every seven days. I added two videos to this week to kind of show how the girls really look it’s hard to get a good look at them with a photo but they’re all growing well and healthy but they’re kind of just trees right now and we want bushes so as of this week, I think after I give them their tea tomorrow, I will tie everything down and start stretching and we want at the end of this grow to have at least 10 foot of width on all four big girls. Well, still achieving a strong height of hopefully 8 feet..

just about finished up this week. Choc mint 1 is about ready for chop. Chopped couple of main colas as i seen couple of signs of budrot. Dropped lights down to 400w each as temps are starting to rise above 30c. Choc mint 2 is looking unreal. Heaps of huge colas,think i will pull the most of this one. Will probably give till day 65.

Day 28 week 4 of flower plants looking good I dropped a 3L water bottle on a string which snapped a whole branch from the bottom 😳 on right plant 😭

started to realy put effort in making bud sites now gave her firat organic bloom feed mainly humic and fulvic acids hoping or at least 6 to 7 oz of this one

This girl is so ready god flowering, she’s responding well to all training and continues to move out as wide as she can but now show does start to get taller.

Day 65 - Maria got some needed defoliation to expose lower nodes to light and increase air circulation through the canopy. She is growing bushy with short internodes. Juanita's new growth looks slightly better, even though growth has slowed down and is very stretchy. Thinking of putting her soul to rest, she's turning out to be a headache in the current tent situation. Day 66 - Maria's growth exploded after yesterday's defoliation. Both plants showed pre-flowers and are both confirmed ladies. 🙂 Day 70 - Both ladies got 1 litre each of plain water. Maria got her lower skirt lollipopped. Also defoliated her from top to expose lower growth to more light. She is still growing very dense. Juanita is showing signs of recovery, new growth is green and purple stems are slowly turning green again I don't like the way she is growing though, internodes are too long. Will have to see what to do with her.

week 5 of the flowering period. the smell is very strong now. if theres no fresh air (during the night) the smell is so intense that it just stinks lol. the buds however smell very nice and sweet up close. there is a lot of thc visible already aroud the buds. the night temperatures have dropped a lot the past week but its ok for the final weeks. this strain normally finishes at week 7 but i let her go till week 8 to get extra frost on the buds maybe 9 weeks if the temperatures dont go too low
