Very good week lots of growth shooting up and nice branch length an spacing . I've taken a few leaves but not many as the light is getting through OK I've been folding the fans down and that seems to be enough . It's starting to show flower but I'll keep it on the grow nutrients a few more days . Good genetics . I've been taking pics after lights out an if I wait to long it goes all floppy .

Day 79: Second Grow We've decided against using additional nutrients and have completely stopped fertilizing. The light cycle has been reduced to 11 hours, and we're already starting to give them cooler water. Starting Monday, I will be watering with ice water to stress the plants further, aiming for higher yield, more terpenes, and increased frost. The adjustment to the light cycle should also help the plants ripen evenly. The lights are hanging about 20 cm above the buds, which are getting thicker every day, soaking up the light intensely. In about a week, most of the plants should be ready for harvest. We plan to stop watering them for about 100 hours before harvest. During this period, I'll place ice cubes on the soil to shock the roots one last time. 48 hours before harvest, I will turn off the lights, giving the plants two days of darkness. After this period, the plants will be cut and hung to dry.

I was away for the entire week. I have no watering systems so I just saturated before I left. The plant had just dried up when I was back, but showing light nutrient deficiecies.

🌱 Amnesia Skunk — Grow Recap (from seed to now) Strain: Amnesia Skunk Auto-Flower: 12/12 from seed Current age: Week 7 from seed Flowering reference: Week 3 of flower (by morphology, not calendar) How we got here • From day one, this run was intentional: 12/12 from seed, no veg phase. • Plants established quickly with strong root development and steady internodal spacing. • Early structure showed vigorous lateral branching, typical of Amnesia-leaning genetics. • Transition into flower was smooth — no stall, no stress signals. • By early flower, canopy density increased fast, especially in a full 8×8 room (~27 plants). This is where room logic started to matter more than single-plant logic. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment Snapshot (current) • Day temp: ~28 °C • RH: ~65% • EC: ~2.4 • pH: ~6.5 • Height: ~40–80 cm • Lighting: LED (multi-layer canopy + under-canopy) On paper? Some growers panic at 28 °C in flower. In practice? This is where understanding beats numbers. ⸻ 🍃 LED, Leaf Temperature & VPD (the part most skip) Under LED lighting, room temperature ≠ what the plant feels. Unlike HPS, LEDs: • Don’t dump infrared heat • Keep leaf surface temperature 2–4 °C cooler than ambient So when: • Room temp ≈ 28 °C • Leaf temp ≈ 24–26 °C • RH ≈ 65% 👉 Leaf VPD lands right in the comfort zone for early–mid flower. And the plants confirm it: • Deep, relaxed green • No tacoing • No stress-praying • Strong internodes • Uniform nutrient uptake across phenotypes That’s real data. We’re not ignoring numbers — we’re letting plant behavior be the final authority. Stability fixing something that isn’t broken. ⸻ ✂️ Defoliation — why it was heavier this week Let’s be very clear: This was not aesthetic defoliation. This was functional, room-driven defoliation. Context matters • 🏠 8×8 room • 🌱 ~27 plants • 🌬️ Airflow, humidity pockets, and light penetration scale very differently at this density A single plant might not ask for it — but the room did. Why we defoliated • Improve airflow through a dense canopy • Reduce micro-humidity pockets • Let photons travel into the canopy, not just hit the top • Reset apical dominance • Refocus energy toward flowering sites Yes — it was heavier than initially planned. But: • Genetics are strong • Roots are dialed • Feed is stable • Plants are healthy Healthy plants recover fast. Stressed plants don’t. We also: • Found a few minor under-canopy light burns • Nothing serious • Removed affected leaves • Cleaned structure The girls responded immediately — posture, color, and turgor all stayed on point. ⸻ 🌸 Where we are now (Week 3 flower) • Clear flower initiation • Sites are stacking evenly • Stretch is slowing • Structure is set • Energy is shifting from leaf production → flower development This is exactly where we want to be. ⸻ 🔮 What to expect next (and what not to) Expect: • Calyx stacking to accelerate • Stretch to finish over the next 7–10 days • Flowers to start defining their final architecture • Strong recovery response from defoliation Don’t expect: • Explosive bulk yet (that comes later) • Resin maturity at this stage • Any need for drastic changes From here on: • Stability • Observation • Small, intentional adjustments only if the plants ask ⸻ 🙏 Final words Thank you to everybody: • Lovers ❤️ • Haters 😉 • New followers • OGs • The GD platform • The GD community • The ones who ask questions • And the silent ones who just watch and learn Everyone is welcome here. This week was defoliation week, and the girls told us clearly what they needed — so we listened. Plants are looking outstanding, and this Amnesia Skunk run is right where it should be. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art. This week marked the transition into flowering as the light cycle was switched to 12/12, officially initiating bloom 🌸 For the first few days both plants continued normal vegetative growth. The stretch became noticeable after about 3 days, marking the beginning of the flowering phase. • Height approx. ~65 cm • Both plants taller than the Jelly Donutz • Early stretch phase beginning Light intensity was increased to ~750 PPFD ☀️ Clear phenotypic differences continue to develop: • Pheno #2 shows a thicker main stem and stronger vertical growth, with branches staying closer to the main stem • Pheno #1 grows more open and spreads more evenly in all directions Water demand differs slightly between the two: • Pheno #2 watered every 2 days • Pheno #1 watered every 2–3 days 💧 Feeding this week: • 1x BioTabs Bio PK • Otherwise water + BioBizz CalMag Environment remained stable: • 25°C temperature • ~60% RH 🌡️ Very few to no visible white pistils yet, which is normal this early after the flip. The plants are still transitioning hormonally and focusing on stretch before full flower development. Overall a smooth and controlled start into bloom, with stretch beginning and clear structural differences between the phenotypes ?🔥

What’s uppp! Week thirteenth (five in bloom) is behind us.✌️🌼 This week, she packed on even more frost. ❄️🍓 I tried increasing the base AN nutrients to 2.5 ml/l, but that seemed to be a bit too much for her and she started showing slight burnt leaf tips. 😅 I adjusted the feeding schedule back to the dosage listed above for the following waterings. Watering volume was reduced to 6L, but frequency was increased to every other day. Overall, she seems very happy, and so is the grower! 👌🌱 Good luck every one! ✌️ Any tips or advice are always welcome 😂🔥 CZ ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Servus, třináctý týden, pátý týden v květu, máme za sebou. 😂🔥

Almost there! I'm going to say about 1 more week, we have some amber trichromes showing up on the top leaves once they hit the buds I'll chop. How do you guys feel about drowning the plant a week before harvest? From what i read it puts the plant in a Survival mode and takes all the energy stored in the "sink" leaves and focus's everything to the buds for survivability/reproduction purposes. 🤔

Diesel Automatic is doing OK, growing slowly and still with the mosaic pattern on the leave. @James from RQS took a look and said: I would say that you might have a potassium deficiency on your plants. the deficiency might be caused by an excess of fertilizers and nutrients. Excess salt is especially common as it tends to build up in the growing medium. Nutrient lockout is a very common cause of most deficiencies. When the pH of the soil is too low, it makes the medium too acidic. This causes stress in the root zone and prevents the uptake of potassium. Here you have an article that might be helpful: https://www.royalqueenseeds.com/blog-potassium-deficiency-in-cannabis-plants-a-how-to-guide-n671 I gave her some Recharge and Espoma Organic Grow 2-2-2. Lets see what happens. 👍

Sep 21: fall is here with 12 h of darkness and red tinted sunlight both of which help with flowering. One problem with growing dope here is the UV light is weak this far North in the fall so for most people it’s better to just do autos outdoors and timing it so they ripen during the stronger summer sun and you’re done by the end of August. But if you want reliable big yields these fast flowering photoperiods are definitely the best choice. Sep 23: seems a bit off colour so I added some Alaska Fish Fertilizer for N. Always warming the water to about 26C these days to help keep the plant and soil bacteria warm and happy. Sep 25: this plant and Bruce both got blown over twice today. This is because the small 5 gallon bags aren’t big and heavy enough. The plants are fine. Oh well, the advantage is that I can move them around easily to maximize direct sun. Don’t take flash pics of your plants unless you’re going to immediately use a 730 nm far red light to put the plants into dark mode. It’s a great trick as a bloom booster and moves up finishing time here by a couple or three weeks. Sep 27: harvest will be tomorrow because of some bad weather moving in. Tomorrow will be okay but then rain and cold overnight and even snow forecast for late next week. C’est La vie.

Zdravím vás , Tak konečně první týden květu. Když se podíváte na video který tu mám jsou to ty přední tři kytky. Super rust. Jsem zvědaví jak tohle cele dopadne. Cena semínek =kvalita. Je opravdu znát. O proti black Dog například. Teď nehnojim vůbec. Počkám si až začne dělat květy. A rovnou prehodim i hnojiva. 😎

Weirdo is at it again. Seems to me like she is in her final phase. Most of the leaves dying back buds starting to fall over but still a little immature🤷‍♂️ the other girl has a few weeks it seems but weirdo could be within the week. Ambers are starting to appear on the lower flowers. I am a little underwhelmed with her progress this week. I took a lower sample to evaluate things a little better. Plant two is moving along. Both plants cut their water demand down🤷‍♂️ After inspecting the sample, i notice alot of amber, mostly cloudy, with a few still clear, trichomes. I dont think she is ready as the buds are still developping new bracts. Hold out for a day or two, and go from there
