Watering with plain water. Just waiting for milky trichomes. 💪

Hello this is the end of week 6 and the beginning of week 7 of flowering. Still 4 weeks to go, and we are getting some color on these plants. 3 plants are showing some purple. Man, these plants smell good now. When they were young I was getting very little smell on my fingers with the rub test. But now, these plants smell wonderful. They have cookie and cake parents. So it smells like some sort of sweet treat in here. The seed description says, Sweet, creamy, vanilla, desert with a touch of butter and fruit cake. Sounds delicious. 😃 Have Fun. Chuck.

The new growth is coming in a little limey, we insist on reusing Promix so PH is always a bit of a rollercoaster lol.. no sweat, usually a gallon each PH'd to 5.5 with 5ml/gal N solution will get them back to baseline..we seem to have the same issue with most plants grown in our basement during summer, I'm sure the super high humidity and low evaporation rate has something to do with it... if they don't come around after the adjustment, they'll spend some time under the HIDs, this always straightens them out..we topped the mainline for the last time today for 8 mains per side, as well as another full round of toppings on the x2 LST plants... thanks for reading if you made it this far and happy growing everyone!!! ❤️🐱💡🌱 ~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_ 8/22/21 🐱 Quick update, the mainlined plant is showing signs of calcium deficiency which is odd, with our routine we almost never have Calcium or magnesium issues..its really only noticeable under the florescent lights on this one but we'll have to make changes.. they all have plenty of calcium in their media so I'm wondering if the PH has gone screwy in that pot.. we reuse promix which gets really acidic sometimes and we add lime to buffer this but we guess a lot and may not have used enough (or waited long enough)..I know when our media gets around 5-5.5 calcium deficiency is a huge issue..ill add a little more calcium to be sure and will try using water PH'd higher (6.5-7) and see if this helps anything. Day 2 - mostly training...white hairs now coming through. Nitrogen boost in last feed helped perk up the plant.

Plants have been scroged and are almost covering the hole net , knowing that they are going to strech for the first three weeks of flower, I'll be switching lights to a 12/12 cycle on the upcoming days . Happy growing y'all !

Day 71. Two girls left and my no feed gives sighns, pH imbalance and thrips damaged leaves really hard and when fading - girls look like shit, just not the buds ;))) All grow returned to normal life, see less and less bugs and girls started to drink fast again. I almost missed watering, some girls looks droopy in video. Two more waterings for Gorilla and think 3 weeks for Girl Scout Cookies Auto still, she is flowering nice and adds up some buds ;) Happy Growing !

She's a big and pretty on for sure. Lovely looking foxtail buds that just keep growing, very pungent diesel terps with a kushy vibe too. She's got a little while left, will be starting the flush soon (4 days after these pics) cause I'm leaving for holiday. Will have to see if she's ready during my holiday, but I think she's can use another 3 weeks, looking at this pic. Gonna be a bitch to trim that's the only negative.

Now entering veg week number 2, so far so good I´d say. Some slight leaf discoloration from rapid growth. I´ll ramp up the watering tomorrow morning to about 400ml per plant and keep the adding root juice and silica until the end of this week. Root juice IMO is the best bottle out of the entire BioBizz line. This stuff really works. Unlike the BioGrow, which I don´t have good things to say about at all. I will be substituting it with FishMix for this grow. It´s too early to add N, thanks to the allmix bottom layer nutrient buffer. Instead of AC Infinity T5 humidifier and the 69 Pro controller, I decided to invest in a 14k BTU AC mobile unit from the wonderful German company Klarstein. Should arrive either at the end of the week or early next week. Hoping to stabilize daytime room temps to 26C and with that stabilize the fluctuating VPD as well. Not to mention the QOL improvement to myself. But you know, I am doing it mainly for the plants. 😊 Update follows in a few days. Update 10. 06. Time flies, it´s already wednesday and the growth is steady. Watered with 400ml of water, since the soil was almost completely dry. New photos uploaded. I´ve discovered "professional" photo mode on my phone, so I should be able to give you better - non AI processed - quality photos. Update 13. 06. Height of the plants doubled since wednesday. Their trunk is getting pretty thick considering it´s only end of the 2nd veg week. I´ll start with LST tonight, before they go to sleep. Watered with 800ml of water, but it still looks like they could have taken more than that. Let´s be conservative for now though. Lights bumped up to 50 % of power and sit 55cm above the canopy. New photos uploaded. AC unit arrived yesterday and I´ll set it up today. Starting tomorrow, plants should recieve stable 26°C climate for the rest of their lives. 👍 Edit 14. 06. I went to turn off the lights last night and realized, that the light above the right plant has been accidentally running at 75 % of power. As a result, the pots dried up quickly. Woke up today to bone dry pots and had to water again. This time each got 1 liter of water. I also added a little bit of activera to help them recover from stress. Right plant took it nicely and grew 1cm more than the plant on the left. Prepared them for LST in the morning with stakes. Cut off 2 fan leaves from each plant that were touching the mois soil as a result. Switched the stakes for the adjustable bendies I got from Kaufland store (sort of functions like Amazon) in the afternoon. Trying them out for the first time and I like them more than ropes and wires with clips. Now I will let them recover for a few days from all the stress. AC wasn´t needed today, because temps outside are like 15°C with rain. Got a nice 21°C temp today in the lung room and 25°C in the tent. New photos and a video uploaded. Busy week behind the microscope. The tricomes look clear to me. She ain't ready as yet. Struggling with keeping tent cool due to heatwave and lack of a/c. Nutes solution reduced. Only had base and 4 additives. Later on in the week had another watering at .7 E.C . Flush started on day 50. Final runoff was in mid 500ppm. She's smelling lovely, absolutely lovely. She spent 48hrs in the dark and then chop day. A really lovely plant to grow. Absolutely no worries at all.

Day 50 - Starting week 8 today and she’s looking beautiful. She definitely not as big as I was expecting but she’s really starting to fatten up, looking and smelling amazing. Can’t wait for these last couple weeks for her to finish and chop her. Day 51 - All is looking good and hoping by the end of week 10 she’ll be ready or close to ready for chopping. Starting to get milky trichomes but still quite a few clear. The next couple weeks are gonna be fun to watch her fatten up more. Day 52 - She definitely looking good and getting a lot of milky trichs but there’s still a bit of time before she’s ready to chop, at least that’s what I’m thinking. Might do a split harvest if she calls for it but hoping she’ll be ready by week 10 or 11 at the latest. Just need her to fatten up a bit in the middle. Day 53 - Gave her a feeding of water today and continuing to watch her fatten each day. She’s starting to get really frosty and smelly and I’m loving it! Excited for the last few weeks. Day 54 - All is looking good still and it’s like this girl is almost turning into one big giant frosty bud and couldn’t be happier with how easy she’s been to grow so far. Right now she’s almost 100% milky trichs and looks like she still has a little more time to go still. I’m going for a little more couch lock so need those ambers to start showing up. Day 55 - All is looking good still, just watching her fatten up everyday. Day 56 - Last day of week 8 and she’s smelling sooo sweet and getting frostier everyday. Thinking about just giving her pH’d water from here on out. I’m guessing another week or two and she should be finishing up but just gonna continue watching trichs. Waiting for them to start turning amber. Still a few clear in there but not many, mostly all cloudy now.

09/03: They are doing fine, I currently have them in the same tent as my other grow, and will be moving them to my 2x4 in the next couple of days. Ill be running these with a new nutrient stack that i am not yet familiar with, and will follow the feeding chart, adjusting as needed. One of these is still a little runt and has not grown much height at all. It will likely just stay in that small cup all the way through flower, assuming that i even let it finish at all. I had only planned to take one of them to flower anyway. 09/08: Today i decided to get in an early topping. I am going to transplant her to a final autopot in a couple of days and wanted to get this stress out of the way. She is looking a little irritated as is. She is in the 2x4 now and i am not able to maintain higher than 55% humidity in this tent using a cheap humidifier. Probably would be worth grabbing a better one for this tent. But she will be in flower in a couple of weeks and then the lower humidity will not be a problem, so i think ill just roll with it.

This week went really great! Plants are looking super healthy today at day 22 from seed!! Today they got a dose of just pure water phd at 6.5 ! Temperature an humidity has been staying pretty stable everyday, staying around 70-75 degrees and 58-61 % humidity!! Can’t wait to see what these girls do this week ! Successful germination, actually started first seeds in June, popped 4 beans but during early growth I lost two seeds to over watering so I ended up with on 2 plants to fill 3 pots. Ended up trying 4 more beans in the same method, a couple months down the road,only lost 1 to over watering this time. So now I have 5 pheno's, 3 plants for now and 2 I'm saving clones of for later. Never had a problem with this kind of thing before so it speaks to the sensitivity of this strain. (More evidence later) start of actual seeds on this first run was August 18th.

As you can see, LST works well, Gorilla Strawberry tolerates LST very well, in almost all plants I managed to keep the branches at the same height I made a minor defoliation of large leaves. The rest I slide under the twigs every day so that they do not make a shadow. Due to a high wind that lasted 2 days and LST one of my Gorilla Strawberry broke in half and holds on about 20% of the stem. I was thinking about trying the method HST and I will remove the cracked part of the plant, but I did not have the heart to cut it off, so I decided to use the patch that I carry with me in the first aid kit if I cut myself. From two twigs and a patch I made a primitive splint. The next day I took an insulating tape with me into the forest and once again wrapped the splint for better strength. And as you can see, the plant lives and thrives :) Next, I want to show you the pest Leaf Minner, which makes tunnels in the leaves and then pupates on the underside of the leaf I tear off the leaf or crush the pest Next, I would like to show you a very useful beetle, a ladybug that eats, for example, aphids, in the photo you see a pupated ladybug larva, do not kill it !!!
